He swung his blade, feinting an attack before spinning and thrusting to attempt the real strike, then quickly followed up with the rapier from his other hand, angled to force the artificer back if possible.

Nova sends a demonic whisper to his Imp, commanding it to use the Use an Object action to pour a healing potion down his fallen teammate’s throat. He then approaches (L7), hopefully drowning Apium and his ally in darkness, with the additional measure of providing his weakened ally some more protection.
He reaches out, attempting to finish the job - again - at the cleric.
Darius with twin weapons a flashing twice, missed the first strike thanks to the alert mechanized dragon at Merron's side. So in the follow-up, struck even harder, nearly pushing the dragonborn back.
Nova bids impy to go off reviving the fallen half-drow. But before it can leave the reach of the severely injured dragonborn, a vindictive strike cuts the fiend down. Nevertheless, Apium quite literally never sees what hits him, and is soon in a crumpled heap onto of Senin as Nova carries on past the pair, enshrouding both in Darkness.. (Now any may see spoiler here)
Sennin breathing eases, but he's not out of the woods yet...

(OOC: @RodTheBard; I don't think the lightning was targeted at Darius, it was aimed at Nova... and Merron and Tin just moved around Darius (staying within melee) in order to be within range for the breath weapon. But ClickFRN can clarify if he meant something else.)
Fenkas first telepathically communicates with Syldorn and has him fly up and out of the area of darkness to hover over Darius and prepare to distract Darius when the next attack targets him. Fenkas then sprints out of his corner and charges closer to the shroud of darkness in the center of the field. Knowing what is in the center of the field, he whispers a quiet prayer to Correlon and casts a spell on the fringe of the darkness attempting to put the darkness covered enemy to sleep. He will then run to Apium's unconscious body, and use a free action to grab the Wand of Magic Missiles from his unconscious body and sprint back to the edge of the map.

That is correct, the lightning was aimed into the darkness and Tin and Merron just moved to the other side of Darius, which does not provoke Op. Attacks
(( OOC: Thanks for the correction, my mistake on the direction of the blast. Darius is sitting at I-11 though... moving from J-12 to J-9 moves Tin from melee to ten feet way. ))
Merron and his mecha companion reposition to lay down the punishment. But whereas the latter fails to get past the ex-pirates defenses, a weak but still dangerous breath of lightning is unleashed upon the center mass of the darkness, catching Nova.
Fenkas changes strategies, and in a burst of speed not only gets in position to catch Nova in a wave of wave of Lethargy, knocking him unconscious. Then its back to the game of keep away with Senin's wand in absconded with it, before racing back to his original position.
Apium breathing starts to grow shallower...
As Darius now stands conscious but alone on the field, the faint hissing grows louder before a black mist begins to finally pour out of the ports opened up in the staging areas, filling the area in its deadly embrace.
