Keeping most of his attention on the pit Cath spares a quick side glance at the fleeing ruffians to ensure none want to try something with him on the way out. Good riddance to them, he thinks to himself but freely lets them go. He has no beef with them as far as he knows and no reason to get involved.
As things settle in the bar, Cath edges towards the lip of the pit to look down and see if he can pick out what is making the noise, what trouble is climbing out.

Rashar watches the thugs run away and sheathes his dagger. A glorious sight, to watch the enemy rout before you. "They have retreated, we have no reason to pursue."
He gives an imperceptible nod to Krivnaar, who informed him about the illusion. He moves to Yagra and says, "Hey, you alright? You look like you took quite a beating, but you definitely dished out twice the damage."
He calls over to Mardak, "We may need your help over here."

Morgan nods as the thugs head for the door. He glances to the pit, having heard noises there, but was not too concerned, just wary. Looking to Yagra he gives her a nod of approval of her battle prowess, then he starts back towards his chair and waiting ale. On the way he give Rashar a solid pat on the other's back in approval. "Good work there." Morgan's voice is low and deep. His gray eyes meet the other man's for a moment, then he moves on to his chair.
As the last of the goons flee, Krivnaar dashes over to the pit and sighs in mock relief. "Ah, nevermind, false alarm! We can go back to our business..."
Morgan glances over his shoulder to Rashar as he moves to his chair. "My father only wishes he were here instead of me." Morgan says with a grin. "He may be an old noble, but he could mix it up with the best of them in his day." Morgan's grin is gone as he turns around though, the memory of his last shouting match with his father too-fresh in his mind. The old man was not against bar fighting, that was his mother, but Morgan and his father both had too big of tempers to see eye to eye very often.

Cath doesn't really see anything from peering into the well, but Mardak does begin to hear some screams emitting from the well. Different noises than what Krivnaar was producing. Mardak begins to recall adventurers descending into the well minutes before their arrival, and is now hearing their shrieks of agony.
Yagra wipes her forearm across her mouth to rub off remnants of a bloody lip. She takes a moment to catch her breath before gazing down upon Rashar. "I've taken shits that did more damage to me than those buggers." She says in a menacing tone, although she may be exaggerating a bit.
Then all of a sudden, Obaya, the Chultan priest of Waukeen calls out to everyone. "Der's somet'ing comin' from da well!" Obaya yells, as she's been studying the well this whole time. This catches the attention of Durnan and Jalester. Bonnie maneuvers behind the bar just encase if something does arise. Durnan bends down to grab something behind the bar, and Jalester steps off the bar stool and brandishes his longsword.
Intense thuds are vibrating across the tavern floor, as everyone begins to feel the tremor's of something scaling the well to the Undermountain. The vibrations are growing more intense by the second. They start to hear the sound of what resembles a bat flapping its wings. Durnan by this point has prepared his heavy crossbow.
A huge creature emerges from the well. A putrid smell wafts through the air, making it hard to breathe. What everyone sees, is a Troll that has nine stirges attached to it, and three of them are flying above the troll. The troll stands upright, and bellows a vicious roar as it gazes upon everyone.
"Troll!" Durnan shouts loudly. All the spectators that are still remaining are run for their lives at this point. Jalester runs over ready to fight the troll, and Yagra grabs her mace and rushes over as well.
"Focus on the stirges first!" Durnan calls out to the party, as he, Yagra and Jalester engage the troll.
Side Initiative Roll: Party: 8 Allies: 20 Enemies: 13
The Troll has emerged from the well, he's flanked by Jalester and Yagra. Jalester is on the troll's six and Yagra is on his nine. Five feet from the troll, on his 12, is one of the stirges. Krivnaar is adjacent to the stirge, and has another on his left; Kriv is flanked by stirges. The stirge that's left of Kriv is flanked by Cath, and Cath has a stirge on his left. Jarett is close to Cath, while Morgan is 10 feet away from the nearest stirge (S2), the farthest stirges is diagonally 10 feet away (both S1 and S3). The troll is 15 feet away from Morgan.

First up is the allies. Other than Durnan, Yagra, and Jalester, nobody else is engaging. Meloon is barely conscious from his day-drinking. Threestings is continuing to play intense battle music on his lute, and Obaya is citing a prayer to Waukeen.
From behind the bar, Durnan fires a shot at the Troll with his heavy crossbow.
Attack: 25 Damage: 12
Yagra and Jalester will assault the troll with their weapons in hand. Yagra will strike the troll twice with her mace.

Durnan expertly nails the troll with a crossbow bolt, while Yagra and Jalester manage to land a thunderous blow each onto the troll. The troll stumbles back a bit, and is enraged at the sight of all the bloated stirges across his body that has been draining its blood.

"Okay...stay cool..." He then retreats as far back from the troll as he can, and waits for any other melee combatants to surround the troll before narrowing his eyes at it and whispering something deep, dark and secret - something so terrifying it would chill the bones of mortal men. Cath and Jarett work together to slay the stirges that are floating around. The troll has stirges attached to it and has been draining its blood. The sacred flame washes down upon the troll lightly scorching its calloused skin. The psychic damage trembles the troll's brain and forces him to step away from the source.
It's now the Troll's turn. Due to Dissonant Whispers, the troll now has to move 30 feet away from Krivnaar. The troll circles around the well.
