" There were a few boxes and ruins, a statue that had fallen over that was supposed to be holding this I think. " Tiriel holds up the thing that is supposed to be in the statue's hands.
The group finds themselves heading up a long stairwell towards the top of the tower. It is a small room with a statue in the middle holding up her hands as if she was holding something about the similar size as what the group found in he basement. The windows at the top are mostly shattered and the wood floor has began to rot in some places.
As the item hits small amount of dim sunlight through the clouds it begins to glow gently and feel warm.
" oh, maybe it just needed to recharge. If nothing else I guess we can see if it does anything extra in the hands of the statue." He will make to fufill this,
" Mystery eh? We'll see what it ends up being in the end."
The mirror falls to the floor and shatters into pieces.... Do the characters pick up any pieces and look into them?
Cenny absolutely does not look at the mirror shards.
Cenny turns to Tiriel.
”You came from above. Did you see anything up there?”
" There were a few boxes and ruins, a statue that had fallen over that was supposed to be holding this I think. " Tiriel holds up the thing that is supposed to be in the statue's hands.
"Hmmm. Well let's go put that back where it belongs... And see what happens."
Cenny will begin walking upstairs.
Tolstoy shakes his head and clearly states, "NO. Not going to happen." as he follows Cenny upstairs.

Placing the stone in the statue, a strong gust of wind blows into the room. Focusing on the statue the group notices that nothing happens.
"Well, I guess we don't need the statue then. Thats good." He looks around the room a bit before removing it and readying to leave.
Perception: 8
Tiriel looks intently around the room, but does not find anything more of particular interest.
Tolstoy walks up to the statue and slashes his wrist with the tip of his shortsword, causing blood to spill over the work of art.
"Tolstoy! What the hell are you doing!?"
"From experiences in my past adventures, some rituals require blood." he says, glancing at Cenny implying that he may need healing.
Cenny looks shocked then the shock fades...
”Well... Make sure you get enough blood out before I heal you up and then you have to cut yourself again.” Says Cenny
herman inspects the statue for any signs of magic he may be familiar with...
”hmmm...aint seen one of these in a long while..."
the old man scratches his head hoping to uncover long buried memories
“hows it work again...”
arcana: 9
The statue appears to be nothing more than a decorative way to hold up the stone.
herman stares at the bleeding tortle...
”actually...its just a common marble statue...you may want to see to that wound”
Tiriel rubs his temples with frustration.
The tortle wipes his arm off on his side as he starts to leave the room from where the party entered. The blood continues to drip on the ground.
