Tarast puts away his lightsaber and steps over to Pon, nodding and saying a simple, “great form.”, nodding to Lodu with a “Very effective overall.” Before moving beside Bela, giving her a look AS OF TO SAY ‘shall we move on?”

Bela nods in return, slipping her bag of stimpacks away and moving silently forward.

FINAL ENCOUNTER - THE POWER OF THE DARK SIDE

Approaching the main entrance, you hear a strangled scream from within the temple - apparently, Hethan Romund is still alive! Peering within, you see a small antechamber that opens to side chambers to the left and right, and widens into a large assembly hall deeper in, lit by brilliant shafts of sunlight from above. Romund lies against a pillar within the assembly hall, a horned Advozse mercenary standing over her with a blaster. You can hear shouting and screaming from a chamber to the right.

"Nothing!" the voice cries. "The archive is empty! Just a bunch of useless scrolls and tablets! Where is the holocron?" A red-skinned figure with two sharp horns on his forehead, a Devaronian, strides into view and points a wicked serrated sword at Romund. This must be Malefax. "Tell me, or i'll skin you alive!" Then the Devaronian turns and stalks back into the archive, from which you hear more screams and crashing. He seems unhinged, and waves of anger, fear, and hatred boil off him, permeating the temple. No one seems to have noticed you yet.

Bela's eyes narrow, some of her calm falling away at the sight of her friend being harmed and threatened. Though she silently reminds herself of her creed, her hand still drifts to the handle of her blaster pistol, which she's only drawn once so far on this entire little adventure.

Bela's eyes darken (literally) with anger, and a bookshelf inside topples, hopefully causing a distraction.

The bookshelf crashes to the floor, indeed causing a much needed distraction in order for you all to pull off whatever you're thinking.

Lodu will sneak (stealth) into the room, using the distraction as cover, and try to get to Romund to rescue-

Stealth (2G+2P+1R) => 1 Success + 3 Threats

You are able to get to her, it's a bit stressful, watching out for the guards. She is weak, but able to be moved.

Lodu grabs Romund by the waist, and drags her back to safety.

Stealth (2G+2P+1R) => Results in 1 Success + 5 Threat

After successfully dragging Romund back to safety, Lodu collapses unconscious (strain 13/11) on the floor behind cover, next to the unconscious body of Romund.

Pon rushes past Lodu, giving them a mental thanks as they pass out from exhaustion after they grabbed their mutual friend. With Hethan out of harms way, Pon ignited his lightsaber and rushed towards the first mercenary, not hesitating to slash at his torso.

Tarast rushes forward, lightsaber igniting as He brings up the yellow blade towards Malefax. KKKKZZZZIIIMMMM!!!! Energy slams against the blade. With a shout Malefax pushes Tarast off balance as he is thrown to the side. The Kel-dori ticks and rolls, sliding back to one knee, blade back in a defensive position (1 fail)

Bela chooses to stay with the people who are out, pulling out her physician's kit. A few moments of work later, and Lodu is awake, though groggy.

Visibly pink in the face (much more pink than her normal pink colored skin), Lodu groggily comes back to consciousness.  Looking up, she's greeted with the friendly face of Bela, caring for her.  "May the Force Be With YOU, Master Bela!  Many thanks!"

Still a little shaken from her recent collapse in exhaustion, Lodu none the less collects her breath, centers herself in the Force, and leaps out from behind cover to strike down Merc1 with her lightsaber-
