"Whoa! Thanks!"says Quin as he steps around the trap. Looking at the tunnel he says, "Well since it was my idea to come down here, guess I'll go first." Quin takes a deep breath and proceeds to crawl into the tunnel. Proceeding with caution he continues to watch for traps.
Quiller looks at Quin, "Stick hard to the left of the tunnel and I will stick hard to the right, about five feet back; that way I can shoot anything that looks to be a problem and you can still move straight back. Actually now that I think about it, let me go first, I can see a bit better than you in the dark. If you are behind me with a I should be able to see quite a bit further, just stick to the left side of the tunnel."
Quiller, assuming Quin does agree with his idea, will proceed into the tunnel, dagger at the ready. Cautious, knowing traps have been laid he will operate in the mode of 'there will be more of them'.
Quiller starts down the tunnel, seeing what appears to be another door at the far end. Reaching the door, he can find no trace of any traps on the door. Once Quin and Lukas enter the tunnel, they realize they cannot see anything, not even their hands on the floor of the tunnel. They have no idea if the tunnel is straight, or even where Quiller is at, other than by the sound he is making crawling ahead of them.
Quin opens the hood on his lantern to release a touch more light. Just enough for a few feet in front of him. Once he regains his bearings he will give a couple of clicks in acknowledgement and follow after Quiller.
The door opens revealing another hallway beyond. This one splits in two about 20 feet beyond the door. No light can be seen coming from either hallway. Faint noises can be heard, but, from the door, you can't tell where they are coming from.
The floor is of packed earth, with wooden posts of various sizes holding up the ceilings of the hallways. Both of these hallways are about 4 1/2 feet high.
Quiller looks over his shoulder, "We might not have another chance to figure this little puzzle out, surely you a little bit curious Lukas? There might be a horde of demons just waiting for a signal to flood out and consume us, heh. heh." He grins slightly. "Who ever is down here has the potential to disrupt traffic along this road, the would be within our writ to secure our employer?"

"then collapse it behind us while we make our way to the ladder up. it will give us time to get a warning to the guard. I forsook enough by coming down here, I won't forsake my mission any more!" Lukas Emphatically whispers
"You're right. Somebody should go inform the others in case we need assistance. Go and then create a distraction at the overturned wagon. Quiller and I will continue down here but we'll wait for your signal before engaging anything down here." suggests Quin in reply. He then urges Quiller to continue towards the right path.
Quiller and Quin continue down the road, taking the branch to the right. The hallway is barely wide enough for one person, so the two of you crawl down the hallway single file. As Quiller gets about five feet from the door, it opens revealing two goblins standing there welding short swords.
initiative:
Goblin 1: 10 Goblin 2: 8 Average: 9
Quiller: 7 Quin: 5 Average: 6
One of the goblins moves forward and attacks Quiller: Attack: 13 Damage: 6 . Quiller is able to move out of the way of the initial attack.
OOC Because you are on your knees in the tunnel, all attacks will be at disadvantage.
Meanwhile in the upper room, as Lucas climbs up off the ladder, the door to the outside opens and a goblin enters.
Lukas takes the time to throw the torch at the goblin, get his shield ready, and attack while the goblin is distracted (does the torch do damage if thrown at something/someone? or does it just confuse them?)
