Moshet makes his way back to the camp without encountering anyone. Once he arrives, Tin and Budeim greet him and ask "What did you see? Where are the others?"
Now that the priest has reached the wagon Khoraj will silently signal Quiller that he will provide cover fire if the Elf wants work his way a bit closer.
The side of the hill (northside) facing the wagon only has few scattered shrubs and knee-high grass. The western side of the hill (away from the road) does contain a number of trees that would provide some cover. There are no large plants within about 50 feet of the wagon and the mound of earth. At this time, the sun is beginning to set behind the trees.
Quin joins the other three in Moshet inquisition. "Are they headed this way? Maybe we should prepare to make a run for it. Do we need to help? Is it over? I bet your coming back to tell us its all clear, huh?" his excitement pouring out of his mouth in a rapid flood of words.
Moshet catches his breath and explains what they saw: there is a mound of dirt with a door in it on the other side of the wagon; there was an empty lookout (tree stand) that could see all the way to this camp; and the plan to advance with cover from Khoraj & Quiller.
”If we go forward now, we know the lookout is empty and we have cover from the hill.” Moshet puts his armor back on and prepares to move out.
"Lukas is right. I worry that if the watch tower is empty they saw us and are already planning an attack. I would bet they wait till dark. How about this? Everyone wait here for a moment. I'll scout the immediate area around us in about a 30 yrd radius. Then we'll know the immediate area is clear and we can leave Tin and Budeim here in relative safety while we go provide back up to Khoraj, Quiller, and Max. I'll give a bird call 3 times if I see anything. That will be the signal for you to get the rest back to the wagon. While I'm gone maybe the rest of you can work on some fortifications of our own. Reposition the wagon so that it is between us and the hill and then lean some limbs up against the side of the wagon to hide the gap underneath. That way we can use it for cover if need be." before an answer can even be given the impetuous young rogue slips off into the growing shadows.
Action: Quin moves in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the enemy fortification. He moves out approximately 60 ft, turns right, and makes a clockwise half-circle back in the direction they had just came from to make sure no one has circled around behind them. He'll continue his circuit around to the opposite side of camp from where he started. He will try to stay as hidden and quiet as possible.
Moshet will watch for Quin to make his sweep. "If Quin finds no sign of an ambush here from the rear, we can move everything forward a bit so that the hill is blocking the "fort" in the ground from our shipment. This would allow Khoraj & Quiller to provide coverage from above whether an attack is from the over turned wagon or from the surrounding wilderness."
As Quin is conducting his reconnaissance, Tin asks Moshet if they might want to take Khoraj's armor to him.
Quin sees no trace of any creature present in the vicinity of the campsite. There are no obvious footprints or other traces of individuals trying to spy on the campsite.
As Quin is conducting his reconnaissance, Tin asks Moshet if they might want to take Khoraj's armor to him.
"Yes sir; that was my next thought as well. But I think someone who is a bit more stealthy like Quin should do it. Lukas and Max and I can stay with the cart as we all move up to the back side of the hill, just off the road. We are a half mile away from the hill and should be closer if Khoraj or Quiller are to cover us with their arrows or we are to support them. Agreed?"

Quin arrives back in camp just in time to hear Moshet's suggestion. "Hey now that sounds like a good idea. If by chance they don't already know that we are here and they hear us approach it might draw them out into an ambush. I'll take Khoraj his armor as you suggested."
Quin grabs the armor and heads towards Khoraj and the others.
"Time t' earn our gold," Quiller says as he sees the others moving the wagon forward and Quin hustling up with the armor. He grins at Khoraj, "This is the life, eh? Dancin' on the edge of a blade. You wanna take the right side of the hill and I'll take the left. Any sign of trouble from down there and we start filling them full of holes, yes?"
"this is not a laughing matter." Lukas reminds them. "overconfidence is the deadliest foe, one that is nigh unseen." he prepares himself and has his sword and shield ready, but is walking his horse rather than riding on it.
As Quin moves to give Khoraj his armor he pauses for a moment to give a wave to signal Moshet that he can bring the wagon. Once he gets to the soldier he informs him of the plan to bring the wagon.

"Sounds like a plan" Khoraj replies. "Good hunting" he says with a smile.

Lukas straightens up "Are they all right?"
Quiller will scan the area in the vicinity of the wagon, what sort of cover is nearby? Would it be possible to work his way closer and not be seen?

ooc Are you going to move the wagon with you? It is getting close to dark.
OOC: yeah, lets just do this thing. it's one encounter.
