Peter stumbles slighhtly, just managing to move out of the way of the skeleton's strike, and attempts to return one of his own (( 13 to hit doing 5 piercing))

Peter's rapier knocks the skeleton back, putting it on the defensive as radiant flame descends around it. Dexterity save: 3.
Razil's blast flies wide of its target, but Aldrich's first swing finishes the skeleton off with one blow and it collapses to the dusty floor in a heap of bones.
The chamber appears to hold nothing of value, but across the room is a door that's halfway opened onto another dark area beyond, the contents of which may prove more rewarding.
as soon as the skeleton drops Peter follows suit, immediately plunking down to the floor to sit, stirring up a small cloud of dust as he does "I could use a breather, if you all don't care. I sort of stumbled into this one. I can't see anything down here" as he says that he scoots over to pick his bow and the glowing coin back off the floor.
Peering through the half-opened door, Razil, you can see that it leads into a room that has at least one other door as an exit to the right. In view is a large oak buffet cabinet next to the closed door nearly thirty feet away.
"I see nothing in the next room but a table and another door. Then again, we saw nothing in this room but a door as well. I'm willing to sit and discuss our next moves if others need a break."
Razil will go investigate the four niches the skeletons had emerged from.

"appreciate it" Peter says, a hint of exhaustion in his voice. He pulls a dagger from the inner fold of his jacket, cuts a length of cloth from the bottom of his cloak, and uses it to try to staunch the bleeding from his wound ((I'm going to take a short rest if we can, expending my hit die to regain 3 hit points)) "so my inability to see down here is going to do no one any favors, and I'm not much of one for sword fighting" He motions to his wound as he says this "I'm pretty handy with a bow though, perhaps from here on I bring up the rear of the pack. I won't be able to do much in the way of spotting traps and the like though. It might be best if I check doors before we go through them, then shuffle back to the back, if that sits well with you guys"
Then it might be best for me to take the front. I am not wounded and i am confident to survive a trap if there is one. Aldrich picks up one of the larger bone of one of the skeletons and puts it in a belt pouch.
Razil sits down, back against a wall where he can see both the hall they entered through and the door.
"This may be a fool's errand. I can't imagine I'll be worse for it, no matter the outcome though. For what it's worth, we're in here together, so you can call me Raz. I prefer not to be in direct combat unless absolutely necessary."
"Okay so Raz and I holding up the rear, Aldrich takes point, and Muirgurn some where in between, sounds like a plan to me" Peter stands, finally loosening his grip on the improvised bandages "I believe I'm ready to go when y'all are, lead the way" he pulls the bow up in front of him, and nocks an arrow, prepping for what may come. ((I don't know if it needs to be stated but as long as we're not in combat and Peter is able to I'll check doors for locks and traps, then shuffle back to the back, if that's okay))
During the rest aldrich begins to carve the bone he picked up with a small knife to give it the shape of a narrow rod, simmilar to a wand in shape. When he is done he chucks it through the room.
Well then, i feel we still have a lot to explore, so why are we waiting? Aldrich approaches the next door with confidence, his scimitars at the ready. Oh, right, you wanted to open this from afar?
Razil nods at Aldrich. Once the group is all ready, he moves out of direct line of the door and motions at it while casting Thaumaturgy, willing it to fly open.

The door, which is in a very poor state of repair, scrapes along the floor as it opens, sagging on its hinges. Beyond is a square room, about forty feet to a side, with three more doors, one on each wall, all of them closed and in a similar condition to the one that was just opened. The room is otherwise empty except for the buffet cabinet next to the door to the right.
