Kayassa: 18 (It says your dice rolls are not available yet, and I cannot see them. It is an easy fix, just edit the post and add a space or something, then they should show up, but for now, I will roll for you.)
But unfortunately for them, Duncan is just too strong and pushes the door back.
The party is up! Everyone may now post actions and I will process them in order.
Only Duncan is in true melee range of the thugs and the rest of you stand 5-10 feet back. The Redbrands currently have 3/4 cover from the door, giving them a +5 to their AC.
Vulmar, noticing the challenging logistics of having one guy blocking the battlefield, shrugs. Duncan was just going to have to bear the brunt of the battle. Still, he was a holy man - it was time to act like it. Brandishing his silver orb and gesturing to the party, he casts bless on Duncan, Daphina, and Orro.

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
Kayassa is going to begin to cast, a strangely colored fire forming around her hands before she points it towards the Redbrands. She makes sure to put it car back enough not to hit Duncan, casting Faerie Fire
The Redbrands need to make a dc 14 Dex Save or be effected by the spell.
Vulmar easily casts bless. Duncan, Daphina, and Orro may now all add a d4 to each of the attack rolls and saving throws.
Kayassa casts faerie fire. (Dex Save: 8 (+5 bonus from cover)) Suddenly, each of the Redbrands are outlined in bright neon colors, and give a cry of confusion at the sight of eachother.
Daphina throws a dagger. (6 (2nd roll for advantage) (even with bless wouldn’t be able to hit)) Unfortunately though, the dagger hits the wooden doorframe, and clatters to the ground at Duncan’s feet.
Orro and Duncan are up! What would you like to do?
Duncan, gripping his weapon, moves enough to open the door, but continues to block it. Facing the first glowing thug in front of him he smacks him with the butt of his glaive and says “Drop your weapons and you might make it out alive.”He then lifts his glaive ready to strike should they not listen.
bonus action: Attack: 22 Damage: 6 intimidation: 17 action: ready attack should they not drop their weapons: Attack: 16 Damage: 9
Orro casts sacred flame (Dex Save: 14), but the Redbrand dodges the holy flames. Since you’ll see on the battle map, Duncan is pretty much blocking the way, the hammer attack most likely wouldn’t work. I will roll a second sacred flame attack instead. Let me know if that works. (Dex Save: 24) This second time, the thug is not ready for the flames, and takes 6 radiant damage (-4hp).
Duncan deftly wields his glaive, managing to hold to door closed while smacking the closest Redbrand with the butt of his weapon (-6hp [Total: -10hp]).
The thug grits his teeth, growling “I could say the same for you!” The intimidation seems to do nothing. Although you can’t be sure about the others behind him.
This leads Duncan to make a second attack but the glaive strike misses, splintering through the door, which the thug sort of uses to block you (Miss).
Redbrands are up!
The thugs will again attempt to push past Duncan, putting all of their strength into breaching the door.
Redbrand Athletics: 11
Duncan Athletics: 25
But they are still trapped behind the door which Duncan holds steadfastly closed.
The party is up! Everyone may post round 2 actions, and I will process them according to initiative order.
There is one possible injured Redbrand to hit, who has 3/4 cover behind the door, but everyone has advantage on attacks thanks to faerie fire provided by Kayassa. Additionally, Duncan, Daphina, and Orro all have bless active thanks to Vulmar and may add a d4 to all attack rolls and saving throws.
If you need help visualizing the situation, I have posted a battle map to the resource doc which can be found on the OOC or in the description of the campaign. I will update it after each action if changes are made.
((On his turn)) Duncan grins saying “You had your chance. This wont go well for you.”He then focuses on his training and with the help of his new companions is able to predict their movements and swing at them more accurately than he’s been able to before.
((Duncan opened the door in #632, so likely there should be no cover)) action: Attack: 24 Damage: 4 - slashing dmg with glaive bonus action: Attack: 16 Damage: 7 - bludgeoning with butt of weapon If, by his turn the first is down, or if his first attack kills the first, move his attacks to the next in line
Also, should they yield Duncan will stop his attacks
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kayassa will begin her chant to gather the Eldritch energy in her hands, focusing on one of the enemies that is not yet hurt. With one final mutter she waves her hand and fires her Eldritch Blast.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vulmar frowns at the situation. He didn't have a great shot there. His eyes dart to the crates and barrels against the wall. Maybe that would help. He slips over and climbs onto a barrel before turning to face the Redbrands. With any luck he'd have an easier time sending flame past Orro and Duncan.
Fire Bolt Attack: 20 Damage: 10

Vulmar dashes to the barrels, and climbing on top of them, he is indeed able to get a better shot. You hurl the small ball of flame towards the thugs, and it hits the front one square in the chest, sending him falling backwards, unconscious.
Kayassa conjures a bolt of eldritch energy that rockets from her hand towards the enemies, but her aim is off, and the blast makes contact with the wall of the other room, causing dust to shake loose onto the thugs (Miss).
Daphina pulls out a dagger, preparing to throw it, and is quickly able to adapt after seeing the first thug down. You focus on the second one, and your aim is true, the small but effective weapon sinking into the Redbrand’s shoulder (-11hp).
Orro conjures another set of radiant flames that begin to envelop the thug (Dex Save: 19) And the Redbrand gives out a cry of shock as the flames begin to sear his skin (-3 hp (Total: -14hp))
Duncan leaves his post at the door, allowing the thugs to come through, but meets them there with the sharp end of his glaive. His first strike brings down the second thugs before whipping around to hit the third with the butt end (-7hp).
Redbrands are up!
The singular Redbrand left will takes two strikes with his shortsword against Duncan who stand in his immediate way.
Attack: 9 Damage: 8
Attack: 9 Damage: 2 (This one is wrong, I messed the code up, will roll again below:)
Attack: 20 Damage: 6
From the attacks, Duncan takes a total of 3 slashing damage as one clips him in the side.
Party is up! You may now all post round 3 actions.
There is one Redbrand left who is injured. You all still have advantage due to faerie fire, and Duncan, Daphina, and Orro all still have bless active.
"Drop your weapon, surrender, and start talking. If you're helpful, you'll walk out of here."Orro says, mindful of their purpose in coming here. He holds more sacred flame ready if he does not surrender. (1 damage)
Kayassa watches from where she is, gathering energy into her hands as she waits to see if the thug surrenders or not. She will hold Eldritch Blast until she feels they are safe.
