After coming up the stairs to the sarcophagus, Hifu goes a little further west, trying to look across to the western side, looking for any movement, any signs of a Moose or any giggling little druids.
The gazebo is the 15ft wide structure on the north part of the map, the one with the small fire. The sarcophagus is the rectangle just east of the dial. With 5 small crystal pillars next to it. And the stone pillars with the elven statues on top line the structure on the south side.
James, you have the impression, that there are several thinks going on here. First, whole place seams to shout ancient elven magic to you. Because of the difference in material and design, you would say that the stone statues and the dial were created at one point and that the gazebo and the sarcophagus with its crystal pillars were added later (they are still several hundred years old). While everyone is looking around, Gilgin or Nyx also spot a cave or something inside the hill, just past what would be 9 o clock on the dial. You also see a faint silver glow coming from the semicircle on the dial at 3 oClock and from the sickle around 7 oClock.
The granite sarcophagus rests in a half-circle defined by the five crystal pillars. Clearing the snow off the lid reveals an engraving of a brazier. You also notice a carving near the top of each pillar; from north to south, these images depict a twig, a pinecone, a flame, a feather, and a hand.
Hifu looks over your shoulder, "Anyone have a brazier? Maybe we need to burn an offering of these things. Gilgin, which hand will it be?" He brings out a dagger, then breaks into a grin. "Can you guys look over there? (he points to the west) I can't see anything..."

James nods agreement with the others.
"Yes, lets tackle one problem at a time."
James head directly west from the sarcophagus and drops down next to the giant sun (or moon?) dial, being careful not to step directly on any part of it.
James looks over towards the cave, pointed out by the others, before checking the dial in front of him.
Gilgin, the whole area is consecrated, but there seam to be two different layers, one is the older structure and one is the sarcophagus. Inside the sarcophagus you do feel an undead presence.
Hifu and James, you climb down to the dial. You notice that the whole area feels slightly warm, it seams as if something heats up the dial to keep it free of snow. You also notice that the half circle at 3 and the sickle at 8 o‘clock are glowing. Hifu, you do remember that the one at 8 would be a reflection of the current moon phase, a waning sickle.
Gilgin turns to Kravek and Nyx, whispering “There’s something in this sarcophagus.... and it’s undead!” Jealous of Hifu and James’ athletic skill, he waddles down the stairs towards the cave mouth, with his back to the wall, he peeks his head around the corner, seeing if he can see or sense anything else.
Gilgin grunts, ”Shoddy elven work, are we sure this is where the druid went? Thought they were all into nature and whatnot, not marble shrines.”

James follows his friends cautiously as they approach the structure, keeping his eyes open for danger.
James tries to rack his brain for any memories that might explain what the structure is and what the various parts mean.

"Hey guys? I would be careful where you step and what you touch. This place reminds me very strongly of elven magic, and old magic too."
"We don't want to trigger any magical traps or the like, not until we know what we are dealing with anyway."
As Gilgin is looking at the structure and stone work, James comments to him.
"Looks like the statues and the large dial over there are older than the structure over there."
James points first to the large dial and then to the gazebo.
"Seems strange to add a, well it looks like a tomb, to an existing sight like this, no?

Gilgin nods, “Um... yeah.. that’s what I was gonna say....” Looking over the sarcophagus, he prays for guidance before checking it over.

James snorts out a half laugh at Hifu's words.
"I strongly suggest we don't try any rituals that involve ancient elven tombs and severed hands."
James smiles at Hifu.
"Lets let the dead sleep, at least as long as we can."
James smile fades as he thinks back to the groups recent run-in with the ghost.
