Gilgin nods in understanding at James, “Allright, I’m not one for caution, but lets follow these tracks, see what the situation is like and then make our decision?”
Hifu says "Sounds good. Nice work Gilgin, that will keep him until we can bring him to his family. Let's go hunt a Moose. If we don't have a good feeling about it we can regroup, but I really want a piece of that druid. Like an ear, or an arm maybe." Hifu grins. "Let's go."

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Hifu finds the stakes driven into the ground, pointing in the direction of the Moose's tracks. After everyone gathers and we are prepared, he will start to track as well -
Gilgin finishes the metal coffin and places the body inside. Together you hide it in the shelter and then you go on your way. First you have no problem to follow the tracks, but after an hour you reach an area where there is a lot of fresh snow. Roll me another survivals check (everyone can try).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
You spread out in the forrest to comb the area for tracks. Each of you searching where the moose tracks may reappear. After 15 minutes James calls you over, in front of him a set of moose and a set of humanoid tracks. You follow it for another 1 hour, before they disappear again. This time they reappear as soon as you step past the point where they vanished, including a small hill to your right that wasn’t there a second ago. Out of curiosity you make a step back and the hill and the tracks vanish again. There seams to be some kind of illusion preventing you from looking inside the barrier from the outside.
You carefully approach the hill. The tracks lead to a large, circular indentation in the snowy hillside. Rising from the middle of this circle is a triangular gnomon of beautifully carved crystal that stands twenty feet tall. A ten-foot-high berm hugging the circle’s eastern edge has evergreens growing around and atop it, sheltering what looks like a sarcophagus buried under snow and enclosed by a half-circle of pale blue crystal pillars. North of the berm is a delicately carved gazebo made of marble, and south of the berm is a row of outward-facing, white marble statues atop granite pillars.
Hifu looks and says “Whoa. I think we found it. What are those statues on the pillars?” He tries to make out what they look like. He slowly begins to climb the stairs to the east to be able to look to the west. He is trying to sneak as he approaches, using the pillars for cover when possible.

Hifu, on top of the stone pillars south of you, there are six elevated, white marble statues arranged in a line depicting slender, robed figures facing northward. The engraving on their faces has been worn away by the wind, but pointed ears make the statues identifiable as elves.
Gilgin clambers up to the pillars, inspecting the stonework. (How old is it? Where might the stone have been mined from? Does it seem like elven stonework or does it seem like they employed others etc? Does this seem like an Elven vanity project or like theres a particular use I might know of?) History - 9

You can tell that it is very old and elvish. Beside that you don’t know.
