Kree will climb down the rocks, not convinced the fire is even worth trying to put out at this point. He takes out his climbing tools and sets up an anchor at the top of the rocks and proceeds to climb down.
Hifu is scouting the area, looking across the lake, trying to see any movement in the darkness. As he comes back to the group (he has lit a torch at this point), he sees Kree attaching pitons and rope to climb down the cliffs, Gilgin bouncing up and down, waving his warhammer.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's get Nyx if we are going down. Like this? Let me go on record that I think it's a bad idea to hunt those dark dwarves while in the dark. My father told me tales about them. Gilgin, do you know any more about them? Other than the colorful names they had for your mother? I still think we should get out of here and to the other side of the lake, but we can't leave Nyx... can you guys wait here a minute?"
With that, Hifu runs back to the abandoned building and shouts "Come on Nyx, leave it alone, they are climbing down the cliffs! Please come over here and let's figure out what we are doing..."

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(Nyx, casting would take 10 min each( if you can even do it), so i take it you use your spell slots.)
Nyx you use your power to conjure two unseen servants and soon lumps of snow start to flow in and being dumped on the fire. The flames that started to lick at the ceiling are the most tricky ones but you manage to slowly put out the flames. While you do so, you can hear the others outside argue about what to do and at one point Hifu comes in and tells you to give up and let it burn. At thiat point you already see that you make progress in containing it, but there are still spots that need your attention for a minute or two.
Hifu, look out over the bay, but all you see is darkness and sometimes a snowflake that reflects the torchlight. When you return to Gilgin, Kree is gone and you see a rope anchored into the rocks and hear her from down below. You also see two small points of light weakly in the distance. They are higher then you and disappear and reappear from time to time. They seam to move left and down from where you are, but in general stay at the same distance.
Kree, you manage to secure the rope and start to climb down, but your feet slip on the icy surface and you skit down the rocky slope. Luckily you manage to catch your balance before any harm is done and find yourself between two large long buildings. A few bruises but fine.

(Kree is a he... for now.) Kree will place his lantern down at the bottom to reveal the area in front of him and draws his daggers, keeping an eye out for anyone or anything that might jump on him as he waits to see what the others are going to do. (Using the dodge action incase he get's jumped)
Hifu yells back "They are leaving! James, where are you?" Hifu comes over and helps to finish putting out the last of the flames. "C'mon Nyx, we have to keep our eye on them. I don't know why they are intent on hunting those dark dwarves. What happened to the sled and the dogs? There's no way they can go down the cliffs..." he pauses and then says "I saw some lights across the lake, I think that may be a place to stay, that is where we should go..."

Gilgin peers down the cliff, grumbling to Hifu, “Duergar, just foolish dwarves who dug too deep. They ended up deep in the underdark, enslaved by mindflayers. They were a cautionary tale for centuries before they returned, their minds warped and their skin pale from their time down there. But that wasn’t all that changed in them, they’d been experimented on by their masters, abilities to turn invisible and grow to large sizes. In hindsight, we should have welcomed them back, our tortured cousins. But both sides had too much pride, and we’ve been at odds ever since.” Gilgin looks around to make sure nobody is listening. “Sometimes I wonder, in the time I’ve been away, if similar stories have been woven about me. We dwarves like hard drink and hard work, but somehow I find myself drawn to things of beauty. That’s why I’m here young Hifu, to feel the harshness of these lands and to snap me from my reverie. I don’t think anyone understands what I’m going through more than these folk. They deserve a right smack in the teeth first though.”
With that, he grabs the rope and starts to descend after Kree.

Kree, through a gap between the buildings you can see James and his dogs with Boy approach the warehouses from the waterfront side. Beside that you do not see any other movement. They may be hiding somewhere but right now you concentrate more on not getting stabbed then searching for them.
15 Gilgin, you climb down the rocks while holding on to the rope without a problem. Kree is next to you carefully scanning the shadows between the buildings.
Nyx, the fire is under control now. There are still a few smoldering pieces of ember, but your servants can keep on carrying snow in to finish the job.
Hifu the lights you saw earlier disappeared, but from what you saw you get the feeling that they were torches coming from the top of the village, following the road and are now out of view behind buildings.

Hifu bends down and says in a loud whisper "Guys, torches, coming down the road up here! Perhaps folks saw the fire. Fine.... whatever." He slings his bow over his back along with his backpack and gear. He starts to climb down the rope, exasperated.

You all come together at the docks around James sled. You don’t see any obvious signs where the duergar may have went, but you see three torches comeing down the road. They are now close to the inn, and you can see 5 humanoids in thick furs stoping by the inn. They seam to inspect the big hole in the side of the building.
Kree looks to the humanoids than to the others. "Don't think those are the Dwarves. They wouldn't of gone back, and if they did, they wouldn't be inspecting the hole they made."
"Wherever we do end up resting, we are going to need people on watch in case the duergarcome back. I don't like the idea of leaving enemies like that roaming the village either...Maybe we can get the villagers to help and do a sweep of the village to try and find them?"
James waves his arm in the air in the direction of those looking at the inn.
"OVER HERE! WE CHASED OFF SOME DUERGAR! WE MEAN NO HARM!"
