Nyx slowly backs away from the conversation, setting the chairs back in their places and generally tidying up the place. What she aims to do is to casually get close to an exit and observe the rest of the conversation from there. Way too many people with way too many weapons to her liking.
When Gilgin starts to insult people, Vanea, still shaken from the ghosts, glares at him and looses her temper:„How dare you, you little piece of ..“
„VANEA!“ Masthew interrupts her. He is one of those that visibly look 20 years older, where you saw a strong young half-ork earlier, you now see a slightly wrinkled face and a few grey hairs indicating the end of his prime. He takes one of the chairs and sits down. He looks around the room taking stock on what happened.
Trex holds a small cut on his arm, while he talks in draconic with the other kobolds, he seams to explain something to them. After he is done, the kobolds put their weapons back on a table and sit quietly in a corner, while Trex approaches the speaker. While passing he replies to Hifu: „Trex knows, Trex gratefull.“ his voice souds more hissing and less articulated then before.
Vanea still glares at Gilgin with the promise of later punishment for him, but she addresses Kravek: „You brought that creature here. You were clueless like a little child playing hero. You have no control over your people.“ She turns around and starts to look after the injuries of the militia men.
Speaker Masthew says something to Trex, before he gets up and approaches Kravek: „You couldn‘t know that the kobold was possessed, don‘t beat yourself up. Vanea, she is..... Never mind, she will calm down in time. It looks like the kobolds still look for shelter and offer to work for it. I...I will see what i can do for them. You should look after your people and get some rest, maybe look around Termalaine while there is still a bit light. I will talk with you all tomorow morning.“ He offers you his hand and returns back to Trex who is already talking with Vanja now.
Gilgin chuckles at Vaneas threats before calling out to Mashtew, ”Hifu might have a point, you’ll probably want the burn the book, just to be safe .”
Stretching his arms out to his companions, Gilgin grins. “Off to the tavern then?” As he heads to the door he tries to catch Captain Vanjas eye and gives her a curt nod of respect.
Nyx sees the tensions lower and goes up to Mashtew, "May I see the book? I don't want to touch it, just want to take a look. And the satchel as well if I may? Just in case we come across something similar in the future we'll know what to look out for."
Hifu calls Captain Vanja over, asks to see if we can open the satchel and burn this book. He does not want to touch it, asks that it be placed on the ground and burned or thrown in the fireplace.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Those of you who are interested, you crowd around Speaker Masthews table and everyone is looking at Captain Vanja, who reluctantly takes out the satchel and opens it. Bit by bit she takes out the content, the booklet with drawing and samples of leaves, lumps of moss and twigs and tree bark.
At Vanea's outburst at Gilginand then Kravek, Jamesgets a bit heated.
"First, we aren't his to control, we're colleagues not servants!"
"And secondly, at least we acted to correct the problem, you just got in the way, you helped the ghost!"
As Vanea turns away fuming, and Speaker Masthew approaches, Jameslets it go, trying to calm back down, to regain his professionalism.
Seeing the group is not in trouble, at least not right now, Jamesputs his greatsword away.
Jameslistens to the Speaker, nodding his agreement, before stepping over to the table to see the content of the satchel as Captain Vanja empties it out.
Jamesask Trex,
"Is this yours or is it something you found? Or is there something inside that is connected to the ghost, maybe?"
Hifu says "We will see you in the morning Speaker Masthew, and discuss these events then. Captain Vanja, I strongly recommend that you burn that book when you finish looking through it. Vanea, you need to learn who is your friend, and who is your enemy, and how to differentiate the two. I and my companions are your allies, hopefully you learned this tonight. Evening all. I'm going to go join Gilgin for a drink." Hifu has gathered his gear and heads for the door.

„Trex foundt destroeyed camp in snow near mountain, Trex picking up satchel, then Trex no control over body, Trexbody moving by himself.“ the kobold leader replies.
Nyx turns around clearly agitated and says, "Hifu and Gilgin, go and sit down at a table there. Your thirst can wait a minute or two and maybe it's better you actually work through your emotions instead of drown them by booze."
She turns back to examining the contents of the satchel. She says, "I apologize for these two - they are great people, but... and very... passionate."
The Captain turns the satchel inside out, but nothing else is in it, beside the samples of plants and the booklet. When you flip through the journal all you see are descriptions of plants and information on the environment they grew in. It looks like research notes of someone who studied those thinks.
Nyx turns to Trex and then to Mashtew, "Where exactly did you find this? Do we have a map nearby so that we can try to pinpoint the location and warn people from going there?"
"south side of big mountain, Trex not know more exactly, maybe find again but snow changing every day." Trex replies.
"Nyx, i don't feel great, can this wait till tomorow? I still need to figure out what to do with 6 kobolds and what to do about this!", Speaker Masthew points at the two old, niw gray haired and wrinkly, Militia who sit at the next table, geting taken care of by Vanea. He dosn't sound upset, just very tired.
As they inspect the satchel, Gilgin stands arms crossed smirking at Nyx’s barbs. “If ye really gotta find out now, let me check it for ye. I sensed it was consecrated, so I’ll see if any magic was out on it.” Waving his arms around, and muttering a prayer, he casts detect magic
As they head out, with the promise of a night of rest and beverage ahead, Gilgin skips along. “Well, well, I think that was a job well done! We can make plans for tomorrow over a drink, if ye wanna explore the mountain Nyx. I don’t know if a Trex will be up for guiding us, but I can try to sense something.”
Before Mashtew can answer, Gilgin interrupts, “The energy I felt from the book left when the ghost did, but still.... I feel like something odd happened. Might be best to be safe.”

"Lets go Kravek. We need to water these delicate plants," as she points to Hifu and Gilgin.
Kravek looks around at the aged faces and nods to Nyx Agreed. Hoping that whatever just happened will fade away after a good nights rest.
This has been a troubling situation, we all need to get some rest and speak more tomorrow.
Kravek moves towards the exit and looks back to motion any of the group to come along.
The first round is on me. he says trying to somewhat lift their spirits.

Before leaving, Hifu asks Speaker Mashtew “Speaker, do you know of anyone in town that can heal .... what happened to us?”
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"If we aren't going to sort out the book right now, can we agree that it should be secured somewhere?"
"If it is some kind of tether for the ghost, we don't want anyone handling it alone, just in case, right?"
At Hifu's question to the Speaker and as the rest of the party is preparing to leave, James comments, to Hifu.
"Oh, it happened to you as well Hifu? That's why your scales look a little less, ah, lustrous?"
"I just thought you may have needed a wash. We are going to have to find you help."
James turns to Masthew, waiting to hear his reply to Hifu.
