Killilli’s Dragon Heist

As you head up the stairs, the sound of running water gets louder as you see steam coming from the northern bedroom. 

Lyss darts over to the entrance and peeks in, setting her lantern to illuminate the room.

Perception: 8

The bedroom is filled with splinters and dust, one of the bedlegs have given out, so the bed slants at a strange angle. The door to the en suite bathroom is ajar, steam pouring out into the room.

Kerri stays downstairs, "Listen, if there's a way for us to communicate I'd like to," she calls out.

"Talk first, blast second? Yeah, I suppose... HEY! Whoever's using the bath, you're leaking downstairs! We can just talk... but turn off the water, please!"

Lyss will pick up the lantern and slowly creep into the room, dagger concealed in her other hand.

(Into the bathroom?)

((North into the bedroom, then peek around to the east into the bathroom to start, seeing if anyone responds.))

As Lyss creeps forward, nobody responds. He bathroom door however, swings open revealing a steamed up mirror with the words “Last Orders” Rubbed out on the pane witha finger. Water is streaming out of the bathroom onto the floor, soaking into the carpet as the sound of running taps bellows.

Lyss splashes in, muttering naughty words under her breath, as she turns off the water, and tries to get it to go down a drain rather than all over the house.

She'll return to the stairs and call down, "No one in there, they must have started it running, then go to a different room. Start on this floor and sweep the whole place?"

((Proposing someone guard the exit in the common room, the rest of us sweep the Den, Halls, Bedroom, Spare Bedroom and balconies on this floor, then move up and someone guard the stairs down while we sweep the bedrooms, privies, baths and tower and library, then move up and sweep the attic bedroom and storage. You know, as long as the tub isn't a mimic or something.))

Spark will start tinkering with the tap, trying to stop the flow of water.

Aimee yawns and just starts prestidigating everything in range as she follows sleepily behind Spark.

She gives Lyss a thumbs up at the no blasting. When Kerri yells she leans over and yells at the floor,

"We can communicate great! This is terrible sound insulating!"

In the bathrooms she continues prestidigating to get the carpets clean and dry.

"I can guard stuff if you need me to Lyss! Or I can go looking! I'm pretty good at hide and go seek, but I always gotta pee when I hide!"

She sags against a wall a bit and closes one of her eyes as she waits for orders, still smiling happily.

(Despite that low intelligence roll, Spark is able to turn of a tap lol.)

Stopping the flow of water, and cleaning up the flood, things are looking a little better, the carpets in the connected bedroom led out a pungent mouldy smell as Aimee cleans them with her magic.

(Who’s doing what in this plan then?)

((Aimee can take up guarding the entrance in the common room.))

((I don't think Lyss could stand still enough to be a guard, so she'd be searching.))

(I was just waiting on hearing what Kerri and Spark are doing. Are you all sesrching together? Splitting up? One of you keeping guard? Having a rest? A bath? Going for a walk? Setting the place on fire? The possibilities are endless!)

Kerri keeps looking around, trying to find more answers to this mysterious ghost in the building.

(Where is she looking? Is she following Lyss or splitting from her?)

Spark will follow Kerri around.

"Ok, you watch Aimee, try not to blast without talking to them! C'mon Kerri, c'mon, Spark!"

Aimee gives her most solemn of nods, which is isn't all that solemn.

"Talk then blast, got it!"

She sits in the doorway she is guard and keeps prestidigating everything within range to stay away, yawning and rubbing her eyes.
