Killilli’s Dragon Heist

You search around the dusty rooms, they are liveable if very neglected. The common room is filled with squeaky chairs around a splintered table, pastry wrappers, empty glasses, dirty plates, and dog eared playing cards litter the table. A sofa sits on one side of the room, which sprays out clouds of dust as you investigate. The walls are covered in pieces of paper with scrawled messages filled with exclamation marks and what seems to be a signing in sheet. The Den seems to have been used as a meeting area, a paper board detailing pie charts for pie sales and strategy notes for the business. The bedrooms on this floor seem to have been staff accommodation and both are filled with beer bottles and moth eaten clothing.

((How else would on graph pie sales but in a pie chart! :D ))

"Hmmm... no one here. Aimee, you didn't see anyone, right? Let's search the next floor up... Aimee, you want to guard the stairs, or you want to some poking about?"

((I am so sorry about my lack of posting/inconsistant posting. My grandfather has passed away and my family and i have been a little busy.))

((Sorry to hear that, BE. :(  Obviously need to be with them more than with us! We can have Kerri guard the stairs, if you want?))

"Noooope! Ready to poke around!"

She'll let Kerri take guard and help the search.

((Sweep rooms counter clockwise, Master Bedroom, Private Bath, East Privy, Library and Study, North Privy, Bedroom, Private Bath, Turret Tower, then back out to hallway?))

((Sounds good.))

The rooms on this floor seem a lot nicer than the ones upstairs, although they’ve deteriorated over time. The upper floor also seems empty. There is a pile of newspaper clippings spread over the table in the library, and a rusty ladder leading up to the peak of the turret from the room attached to the bedroom in the north west. The attic storage is filled with cobwebs and crates.

"No one here either Lyss! Maybe up to the roof!"

Lyss checks the windows to see if there are any that someone could have snuck out of, heads up to the top of the turret to be able to look at the roof on this side.

"I don't know how they got past us, but they must have! *yawn* It's getting really late. Aimee, you think you can clean somewhere dry for us to sleep tonight?"

"Yep!" YAWWWNNNN

Aimee will take them to the nicest room (or at least the room in the best shape) they've seen so far and clean up somewhere for everyone to sleep.

"I can stay up and keep an eye on things, let the rest of you get some rest, and I'll wake one of you up when I'm too tired?"

Much of night goes by without incident, however a few creaks and bangs can be heard around the house, though on inspection nobody can be found.

While checking out one of these incidents, Lyss encounters......

Lyss opens the window, dagger cautiously in hand.

Lyss only

 After your first night in your new home you wake to a knocking at your door and Volo’s familiar voice. “Ahoy there, how are you enjoying the new place? I’ve brought you some lovely breakfast pastries from around the corner, they are to die for!” 

((Noted.))

"Mister Volo!"

Lyss scampers to the door and lets him in, beaming. As soon as he gets a chance to safely put the pastries down, she leaps up into his arms and gives him a big hug.

"This place is great! Is it really ours!? I thought it had to be a trick. I mean, it needs some work still, but its HUGE! And it's got a roof! Mostly!"

Kerri rubs her eyes. "Besides the ghost?"

"There were some weird things... maybe it was just a house fairy? Sometimes they like playing pranks."

She looks at Volo when Kerri mentions the possibility of a ghost. Insight: 23

Spark is conspicuously absent, but you do hear suspicious banging and rattling sounds coming from wherever he decided to sleep.

Aimee has been up for hours, keeping cloister time. She has spent the time tidying the rooms. Mostly this involved stacking and prestidigitating.

She grabs a pastry and says while she chews,

"I didn't see any ghosts!"
