As Aimee grabs the horns on her side, the ‘sky’ begins to darken, storm clouds gathering all around. As the rolling of thunder echoes all around you, the entrance seems to slam shut on it’s own.
By the trough, a hulking figure seems to fade into existence with the body of a man and the head of a bull, an ivory key dangling around it’s neck. It looks around in rage and confusion for a second, beginning to swing it’s greataxe at Aldrik who happens to be closest.
Before given the chance to connect, the Minotaur fades away, the sky clears up and the faint trickling of water continues. It appears to have disappeared the moment Cico let go of the horns.
"Well that was interesting! You think it was solid Cico? Move a bit Aldi and I'll blast it it when it fades back in! Oh, no one stand behind it! On three Cico!"
She twists so she can grab and still have a free hand for blasting the minotaur!
"One! Two! -"
((I am guessing someone will interrupt before it gets to three.))
Cico watches the Minotaur appear and then disappear.
"Did everyone else see the key around its neck?" Cico asks. "That may be necessary to get out of here."
He looks around at the others.
"Who can be of use from here with one hand? I need both of mine to help Aldrik, or for the creature to at least be closer." Cico says. "Someone who will hold on until we get the key."
Edvord's attention as he attempted to ritually cast detect magic is snapped as the entrance slams shut and the minotaur apparates into the room. "So much for the slow and careful method... though I agree that the key is most likely the key." As Aimee counts down Edvord yells out, "looks like our bookish friend has the horns."
Edvord stands up, sheathes his staff and draws his rapier. He sprints over next to Aimee, assuming a stance ready to defend the half-elf if she is attacked.
Despite his mentioning the need to have his hands free, given the size of the minotaur appearing before them, Cico leaps up, kicking out with first his right foot on the way up and then his left on the way down. As he lands he spins, using the momentum to swing round for a third kick.
Action: Attack: 21 Damage: 7 (second attack roll if advantage per Aldrik's note above: 18 )
Bonus Action: Flurry of Blows - Attack: 27 Damage: 8 and Attack: 10 Damage: 7

Minotaur initiative 13
The beast materialises, frantically snorting as it’s eyes dart all around. It’s unable to focus as it is immediately set upon from all sides letting out a roar as blood seeps from it’s wounds.
(No flanking, but all melee attacks have advantage due to it’s confusion. Including Cico’s second flurry attack which can be rerolled.)

Once he feels Lyss's arrow whiz by his head, Aldrik flips the great blade into a half-sword grip, reverses his hold, and attempts to use the cross guard to sweep out the Minotaur's legs from under him.
Aimee's mouth drops open at the mooing before reforming into a wide grin.
Aimee nods at Cico's question,
"Kinda funny! Like a bad pun! Same level as, 'I'm no cheetah, you're lion!' Let's see if this one is also a cow!"
She grabs the horns on the skull she is by.

"Lyss," Cico calls over. "Come over here. When Aimee counts to three again, grab this horn. If we yell to let go, then let go."
He then moves over to be near Aldrik but away from the reach of his sword, and on the other side of where they saw the minotaur appear.
He's about to signal to Aimee to start counting again but then pauses and looks at the others.
"I would assume we have one chance. If we have to let it disappear it could reappear fully healed and rested again." Cico says.
He raises his arm again but then stops and looks at his fingers before turning once again to the others, a slow counting taking place on his fingers.
"Does anyone have any other ideas? I've been told that's a question I need to ask before just going on."
"No! Definitely the key! We have got this, easy! Count time!"
Her hands are twitching as she bounces a little from foot to foot watching Cico for the go ahead.
As you touch the horns, the sky darkens again and the menacing shape of the Minotaur begins to fade into existence.
