"Eddie, you ever hear about Nimblerights? Lady Hornraven said it moved like a puppet, or more specifically a marionette. Not like a normal person, though she didn't seem to catch much more detail than that."
Arcana? History? Both +0, rolled a 7 in the game log.
"Whomever did this killed a lot of innocent people by tossing down something from the rooftop that exploded. They deserved better fates." Aldrik says, his fist tightening in anger.
Cico thinks for a moment longer about how Primara the Unicorn has responded and spoken since she announced her presence. His interactions with others always seem to be a minefield of hidden meaning and code but the unicorn seems more upfront than that; more like Lyss and Aimee.
"Primara the unicorn is being honest," Cico finally says. "At least as far as they know. It's possible they're not really a unicorn but something else trapped in the statue but they are trapped."
He looks at the brothers and Kerri, wondering if they should split up or all stick together.
"You could tell Mirt we found her but we know she's alive and see how he reacts." Cico says.
He finally clues in that the conversation has moved on from this to something about nimblerights and how that might be linked to the narrow footprint he found and the description from the witness.
"They are followers of Gond! You know, the god of making cool stuff! Oghma and he are kinda buds so we got to meet them sometimes! Mistress Poilor said they sought knowledge recklessly and risked blah, blah, blah - boom!"
She makes a boom motion with her hands.
"I thought they always made the greatest thingies!"
Cico watches Aimee's hand motions closely as she describes the creations of the followers of Gond.
"It seems we have another item for the list," Cico says as he walks to the chalkboard and writes down 'talk to Gondies about the nimblewight assassin.'
As he steps back from the chalkboard, Cico crosses his arms, a frown deepening.
"We have much to do," Cico says. "Where are the Gondies? Are they near Mount Waterdeep? Or are they closer to Mirt?"
"This world is a strange place... full of both wonder and terror. While I have never encountered such a Nimblewright, such magic is not beyond the arts of true practitioners."
"As for the unicorn, I agree with your suggested course of action Cico. If it would allay the group's fears, we can confront Mirt. Though ask yourselves how you would react if his answer is not to your liking... the Old Wolf would make for a dangerous enemy."
"This list has grown long, shall we visit Mirt... and depending on how that interaction concludes return here to decide on the next item on the chalk board to tackle?"
Once Cico looks out the window and figures out where Mt Waterdeep is and where it is in relation to Mirt's mansion he suggest they all head towards Mirt's and that he Lyss, and Aimee can go up the mountain while the others talk to Mirt.
"The power of your opponent does not change wrong to right," Cico says. His face flushing a little as he speaks. "There are places Primara would be safe until the spell is reversed."
When he finishes he looks around to see if there are any more of the tarts left.
"While your principles are admirable, they do not align entirely with my experience. Perhaps you, Aimee, and Lyss can keep the statute on you while we talk to Mirt, though... if the situation becomes messy... you might be on your own."
Aldrik nods at Kerri. "Given that we were supposed to track down some Zhent and some Zhent instead tracked us down, the plot thickens. But yes, we should follow up with the talking horse, so we have something more to tell Mirt than "So Mirt, we ignored your request ALSO by the way your servant hid the fact that your late wife's favorite unicorn statue was stolen from you and in addition did you know it has a trapped actual unicorn spirit inside that you've held captive for countless years?""
He strokes his goatee. "Not the best opener. Though if we are to talk with the horse discreetly, we'll need a way to get the driver distracted and away."
Aldrik gives the Aimee and Lyss a wink. "Perhaps a task for the Larceny Ladies. Hmm. Chaos Chicks? Pandemonium Pals?"
"Depending on what pandy-moanyum means, I think that one sounds the best. I'm not a Lady, and we do more than larceny, Chicks is demeaning. Maybe Khaos Kids?"

"I have not heard of the name before."
Aimee claps her hands together,
"Oooooh! Nimblewights! They are great! Like automated people size shiny puppets! The Gondies made them!"
She tries to mimic their sweeping movements.
"They moved like this!"
Cico looks down at Aimee.
"What is a Gone-Dee?" Cico asks, genuine curiosity on his face. "Is it a tinker or some sort of smith?"
