Kerri ands leaves. "Have a good evening Sir, sorry for disturbing you." She then goes to look for everyone else, intending on giving someone a piece of her mind for leaving her there to deal with that.

"Well, I didn't know it was your house! Or I guess, I didn't know you, since we just met tonight, but sure. I always clean up after myself though, and I think I've been very good about mostly not stealing anything.", Lyss says rather primly.

"Oh, look, there's Kerri!" She whistles for their adult.

((I like to imagine heels clicking down the road like an irritated teacher in an american school))

((And a 'you have detention' look on her face? :D ))

"Psst, Kerri! We're over here! What took you so long? Sparks isn't gonna burn their house down, is he?", Lyss whispers.

((Defiantly!))

Kerri isn't smiling, "What made you think it was okay to leave me there with Sparks?"

Lyss rolls her eyes.

"I said if they heard us, for you all to get out and let the cute, adorable halfling girl distract them, but you and Sparky invited yourselves over for tea! I tossed six whole gold at him to make the problem go away, and you still stayed. GOLD! I was picking pockets for copper yesterday, and you've got me wasting gold! GOLD!"

She throws up her arms dramatically.

Spark sniffs.

"I only engage in premeditated arson.  No impulse burning."

"Oh... well that's good. So. Did that guy know he had a door in his basement?"

Aimee will use the time the others are talking to pull Ranaer aside to continue her conversation about his library,

"I've never been to your house! What does it smell like there? Everywhere or just in a room? Oohhh, Can I have food in your library? I am going to have food in your library!"

“Of course Amy, you can do whatever you like there. Just..... don’t do anything illegal. There are many eyes watching my manor, and I’m only sure that some of them are my Fathers“

Floon seems uncomfortable, leaning on a wall checking where his healed up burns once were with a tear in his eye. “C‘mon Floony,” Renaer grabs him by the arm, “Let‘s get you somewhere comfy! How are you fine heroes of the night for a celebratory drink at the yawning portal?”

"Yaaaa!"

"You're dodging my question Neverember," Kerri says as she follows.

Renaer laughs, “Kerri, we made it out alive, we saved Floon and we all made it out alive!” He grins, before looking at the group with a little concern “Except, didn’t we go down there with a dragonborn?” Shrugging his shoulders he carries on, “I took Floon outside and didn’t want to to leave the kids alone outside at this time. What happened with the halfling? Was he a Xanathar spy?”

"Didnt even know about the loose brick," Kerri says.

“Well then, I guess all’s well that ends well!” Jenaer replies in a chipper hoot. He leads you by familiar streets, chatting with Floon to keep his spirits up. Arriving at the Yawning Portal, the tavern is emptier than it was before and the patrons left seem half cut. “You guys find a table, I’ll fix us a drink and sort out a room for Floon and I. Any requests?” 

Durnan the barkeep leans at the bar, trying to reason with Mellon, the adventurer who seems to be past his prime now and is drunkenly trying to order a drink, he spots Renaer and waves, knocking over a glass as he shouts his name. Bonnie the barmaid seems to be off shift and is sitting at the bar chatting with Threestrings. At a table in a corner, Volo is talking with a man in his mid-twenties in modest clothing.

"Pie!"

To Renaer then yelling to Volo, waving,

"Oh! Volo! Volo!"

Then pointing at Floon and yelling,

"Floon! Pay up!"

Then to Threestrings,

"Hi Threestrings! This is Floon! I'm going to buy a house!"

"Sangria," Kerri says, seeing Three-Strings and approaching him, ready to give him a piece of her mind. "Three-Strings, I have a bone to pick with you."

On their way to the Portal.

"You told him about the tunnel?", She asks Kerri.

"I'm not a lier," Kerri says. "He has a right to know."

"Being a liar's not so bad. You tell him the whole truth? That he's safest pretending he never saw us, and never got shown that tunnel? That if he tries to stop the gang using his basement, he's likely to end to with broken knees, or dead? Think that's a lie of mission..."
