(They have a base speed of 60 feet and are dashing, so are moving 120 feet per round.)
Bjorn fires an arrow at the blood hawks and the arrow manages to strike of one the birds down. It falls from the sky and lands somewhere in a bank of snow.

"Hey!!! You, flying lot!! We are not going to be your morning snack, you hear me?! You better find a better prey if you don't want to end up in our bellies!" Threats Muharg at the top of his lungs. He then adds "Baaaaaaaaaaaagh! Baaaaaagh!! Just in case you don't understand what I'm saying!! Bhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!" Just trying to be as loud and menacing as he can.
Qinfaren watches the blood hawks continue their fast dive towards the party.
He sighs when it seems clear they're not going to head for the meat that Arogna threw out to them.
He swings his shield around in front of his body, and holds his staff in the other hand, running his thumb along the mistletoe. In a loud firm voice he says "fluctus tonitrui" and a hum of energy begins to swell outwards.
(OOC - if it looks like the blood hawks are about 120' out, so will engage in the next round, Qinfaren will prepare [spell[Thunderwave[/spell] and trigger it with his reaction when the blood hawks are 15' away - orienting the 15' x 15' cube up into the approaching birds to try and hit as many of them at once as possible. CON Save DC 14 or take 11 damage. Half if successful on save)
Neither Arogna's or Muharg's attempts to scare the blood hawks away are successful as the birds continue to fly towards. As soon the birds draw close, Qinfaren releases this thunderwave which fries most of the blood hawks leaving just one blood hawk which managed to swerve out of the way of the attack.

Arogna cheers as feathers rain down around the group. "Nice one, Qinfaren!"
If the surviving hawk enters her reach, she will take a swing at it with her hammer, if no-one else has killed it. And she probably will anyway even if someone else has killed it.
Qinfaren grins sheepishly at the Muharg and Arogna.
"It's what I was always called growing up." Qinfaren says in his loud voice. "Usually proceeded by for-the-love-of-all-that's-good-will-you-please-be-quiet."
He watches the few remaining feathers of the blood hawks floating in the air, reaching out to grab one as it flutters down.
"Should give them a proper send off," Qinfaren adds. "I don't suppose they were doing much more than acting on instinct."
He looks over to the one Arogna was taking a swing at to make sure it's finished off before doing anything else.
Arogna collects her javelins, and a tail feather, then scans the sky as Shad goes about his work. "Yeah, don't waste 'em. Hope there ain't no more. That noise mighta scared 'em off, though."
"Well, at least we don't have to waste time hunting if food flies straight towards us." Says Muharg while helping Shad with his task. "Let's get this done and push forward, the sooner we reach a town, the sooner we'll have a warm meal and bed."
"Agreed. The last thing we need is more of these hawks to descend on us and in larger numbers," Bjorn lends a hand where needed and then starts to push forward together with Muharg.

You continue on the journey along the Ten Trail, eventually the day begins to turn into night and you decide to set up camp once more. Taking turns throughout the night to keep watch, you have another uneventful night where you can continue to get plenty of rest.
In the morning the dogs are excited to get moving on again along the trail. The third day of travelling since leaving Hundelstone is uneventful as well. You spend all day travelling without interruption. However, night begins to fall once more and you decide you will need to make camp very soon.
Suddenly, the peaceful day is interrupted by a whistle of wind a bestial roar! A javelin tears through the air and a massive, saber-toothed tiger leaps out in front of you.

When the birds are just near enough to hit (120ft), Arogna throws another javelin. Then she raises her hammer and shouts at the birds.
Javelin at dis 12 to hit for 6 piercing damage
(Do you want to roll for intimidation on shouting at the birds?)
The javelin flies through the air but completely misses the birds.

Shad silently applauds Bjorn's success. He readies his crossbow for the moment the birds are within range and he can attack with advantage.
