During the first night, after some more reading lessons, Muharg says to Arogna "You know, I started all this adventuring life to be able to provide some coin to my parents so they could leave town, far from our lord's cruelty... But after all the terrible things I witnessed, I was also determined to punish all evil I found and help those who can not fend for themselves. The latter goes well with my character, but the former... " he then averts his eyes "sometimes I find it hard to not believe that everyone can be redeemed, and while I'd very much like to punish them, I'm afraid I might be too soft..." He then looks her back in the eyes "You don't seem to hesitate when it comes to violence, how do you cope with it? I really want to rid the world of as many evil creatures I can..."
Later on the road, Muharg usually walks in the front, where he feels he can be of more use if a threat comes in the way.
Arogna floundered a bit when Muharg asked his question. "Uh...." She thought about it for a good few moments. Eventually, she said, "Guess it's what I know, you know? Like what I learned. My kind, we ain't good with makin' like your kin, or with magic like his," (indicating Qinfaren), "or fast like his," (pointing to Shad), "or strong-minded like his" (nodding to Bjorn).
"But we gotta live, an' all, so we grow up learnin' to hit first. You hit 'em first, they ain't so much trouble after. Or they're dinner. One of them things, dependin' on how hard you hit 'em. But you gotta get in first. You spend time worryin' about it, you're the prey now. You gotta live like a hunter. You know?"
"Mind you, you lot's makin' me think twice about it, some o' the times." (A deep laugh.) "I better take care. When I go back home, I want 'em to think I done well, not that I gone soft."

Quickly after searching for area for the thrower of the javelin, you see a figure standing on top of a nearby twenty-foot-tall cliff about twenty feet to the west.
Meanwhile the saber-toothed tiger roars with fury as she gets ready to attack.
Qinfaren looks from the Sabretooth to the figure on top of the cliff. The Sabretooth is clearly an immediate danger, but they can't let that figure up there keep raining down javelins on them.
"Bjorn, Shad," Qinfaren calls out, "If you two use your bow and crossbow to take out the figure on the cliff, Arogna, Muharg and I will keep the big cat busy until you can join us."

On his turn, if the figure on top of the cliff is within range, Shad will fire at it: 22 to hit and 11 damage. He will use Feline Agility if necessary to reduce the distance to the figure to within crossbow range.
If the figure is still out of range after using Feline Agility, he will use the Dash action instead of attacking.

Seeing Bjorn's arrow fly fast and straight towards the figure atop the cliff, Qinfaren moves quickly forward to remove the distance between him and the sabre-tooth.
He taps his staff on the ground as he moves forward, letting the energy of the earth beneath them rise up through the wood.

Bjorn fires an arrow at the figure on top of the cliff. His arrow sails through the air and pierces into the creature's side. The creature pulls the arrow out with a roar of pain.
Qinfaren successfully strikes the tiger with his quarterstaff ontop of its head. This causes the tiger to grunt in pain.
The sabre-tooth quickly recovers and pounces at Arogna.
(Pounce: Attack: 21 Damage: 14 in addition make a strength saving throw DC14)
Arogna is hit by the pouncing sabre-toothed tiger.
Shad, like Bjorn before him, fires an arrow at the figure ontop of the cliff. The arrow flies through the air and manages to hit the creature.
(OOC: Qinfaren made an attack, is there an issue with your forum view? He posted a couple of days ago)

(I see that now, I think I need to refresh properly. It's you and Murharg who hadn't and I now realise it's because you were waiting on sabre-tooth tiger.)

Shad turns aside and lets the javelin thud into the ground behind him. He casts Toll the Dead (WIS DC 12 or 10 damage) at the figure and squints at it, if possible. What kind of being is it? Perception: 17.
He tries to watch the figure on the cliff and the tiger, wondering if he needs Monty.
