Bjorn walks closer to the front leading the way the best he can. Back in the wilderness he is in his element and he takes the time enjoying it. "You know. I used to take walks like this for days on end when I was hunting for my village. I would sometimes track prey for days before the ancestors provided a kill."
As he talks he also tries to keep a look out for any potential danger along the way.

While Bjorn focuses intently on keeping the group on the trail, Qinfaren notices it's hard for him to also keep watch on their flanks. Qinfaren moves up a few steps back from Bjorn to help keep a sharp eye out for any approaching danger.
You all continue up the trail with Bjorn leading the way his expertise helps guide you along the route and informs you of where to be careful to avoid slipping and possibly falling off the mountain. Meanwhile, Qinfaren keeps an eye out for anything that might be approaching from the rear. However, Qinfaren only spots a griffon flying past that ignores you all.
After some time of ascending the mountain the trail narrows to a mere twelve inches across, which continues on at this width for some distance. It would impossible to jump across, and the only way to continue would be to safely step across to avoid the great drop underneath.
(Make a DC13 Dexterity check to avoid falling, with advantage due to Bjorn's expert survival skills guiding you across.)

Noticing the situation calls for some finesse, Muharg takes a deep breath and tries to still himself, he then adjusts his belt and nods before starting to walk sideways, his back against the mountain.
Dexterity (with advantage): 17
Feeling pretty confident with his step, he tries to help Shad when he seems to lose his foot.
(OOC: DM let me know what to roll to help Shad not falling down)
Qinfaren takes a long step over the gap in the pathway. It doesn't look very large to his long limbs but he still pays attention as he works at crossing over.
Dexterity: 23
As he moves to the other side he can see Shad struggling and on the edge of losing his footing. Qinfaren pulls a coil of rope from his pack and quickly tosses one end towards Shad, making sure he holds tightly to the other end.
As you all continue along the five-hundred foot long narrow ledge, Bjorn starts making his way but Shad begins to fall, this distracts Bjorn who miss places a foot and also begins to fall.
(Shad can make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw to try and catch the rope or ledge.
Muharg can roll DC 13 Dexterity saving throw to try and catch Shad.
Bjorn can roll DC 13 Dexterity saving throw to try and catch the ledge.
Failing that, you fall down the fifty-foot drop but land in a bank of snow taking 4d6 damage from the fall.
Then you can try to climb up by passing a DC 10 Strength (Athletics) check.)

Arogna is cursing at some length as Shad and Bjorn regain the ledge. "We oughta get paid two - no, three times the rate for this. How does that [Orcish, "one whose father has never acknowledged parentage"] son of a [Orcish, "one who spends the night in a ditch", "vagrant", "outcast"] get up here? Does he fly up on a [Orcish, "a log used as seating for an outdoor latrine"]? And who in the nine hot hells thinks it's fine to post him somethin'?"
Have two of you nearly falling down the fifty foot drop, you continue on your way along the edge until you make it to the other side. Now you find yourselves on a section of the trail which is much wider and much safer to continue on.
After taking a moment to rest and recover from the experience you continue on. After some time of following trail around the mountain, you come to the end of the trail where you come face to face with a cliff. The cliff is fifty feet tall, but it has some obvious spots that can be used as handholds.

Muharg looks up and surveys the handholds trying to assess the best route, he then adjusts his belt. "Well, we better not waste our time down here, I think our best bet is that one of you more stealthy lads go up a peer out from the edge of the cliff to try and spot any surprises that might await us up there."
He then looks both at Shad and Bjorn, and tilts his head. "Bjorn, I think this is your thing, lad! No offense Shad, he just looks more capable of succeeding on the climb." Says tapping the tabaxi on the shoulder.
"No offense taken, Muharg," Shad says. "The Cat Lord is fickle." He sorts through his pockets until he finds his rope. "It might be advantageous for those of us who follow whoever goes first, if they dangle part of the rope down after they reach the top. It could help us climb if they secure the other end of the rope to themselves of something that outweighs the climbers."
"This might sound a little strange," Qinfaren says as he looks up at the cliff face with Bjorn, recoiling the rope he had tossed out for Shad. "But I have a suggestion."
He looks around at the others.
"I just remembered my adventure in the captain's cabin back on the ship. A spider would make short work of this cliff face. They just never fall when they're climbing."
He looks back up at the top of the cliff.
"Might make it easy to peek over the top too. If it's all clear I can change back and lower a rope."
If Qinfaren uses Wild Shape to become a spider again he can make use of the spider's Spider Climb ability which means he can climb up the wall without having to make an ability check.
