The old woman nods her head and watches as Qinfaren approaches the cauldron.
"It is just a stew,"the woman explains. "Just a simple stew cooked from a few lumps of meat and boiling water. Nothing fancy, but I'd rather you not breathe all over my food if you don't mind."
As Qinfren peers over the cauldron, he can see the flayed corpses of four men hidden behind the cauldron.

Qinfaren slowly absorbs what has happened and nods as Arogna grounds his thoughts.
"Yes, she is no friend. But a danger," Qinfaren says.
He looks back to the old woman.
"The dire wolf in the cave above hunts when it's hungry. Why did you do this? Is this the death magic?" he looks to Shad, Bjorn and Arogna as he searches for the right word. "Are you a necromancer?"
The old woman lets out an evil cackle, "I'm afraid it's nothing like that. You see, the cauldron provides a stew through its magic. Unfortunately, the stew is just a bit too bland for my tastes. So, I figured I'd add some meat to the stew to provide extra flavour. It is much better this way.
Although, now that you know my secret, I don't think I can let you go. You'll bring the villagers down here, and I can't have that."

Shad snorts at the woman's words. "Perhaps we will bring you and evidence of your actions to the villagers," he says, beginning to cast as well. "Perhaps."
As a reaction to your threats, a ball of light suddenly appears in the air flying around the old woman. And the old woman's true form is revealed, that of a creature with sickly greyish-purple flesh, bulging eyes, and stringy black hair interwoven with fingerbones.
The creature then shouts to the west, "Come to me, my faithful servant."
From the west, you hear the sound of ice breaking under a great force.

The glowing ball of light swoops down at Qinfaren releasing a blast of lightning.
(Attack: 24 Damage: 16)
"I think we're going to need all the help we can get here," Bjorn then takes a moment to summon Blue. Then suddenly the familiar sight of Blue appears in the air next time. "Blue, attack."
Blue flies through the air and swoops to bite the creature.
(Attack: 17 Damage: 4 piercing damage + [Unable to parse dice roll.] fire damage.)

Qinfaren staggers back as the blast of lightning slams into his broad chest.
"What is that thing?" Qinfaren shouts.
He turns his body slightly back to be facing the witch, claps his hands together and shouts "tonitruum fluctus."
Casts: Thunderwave at 2nd Level - if he can angle his body such that the 15' area takes in the witch and ball of energy without getting blue too, he will do that. If he can't get both without hitting blue, he focuses on the witch only - Thunder Damage: 10 and pushed 10' back into the cave wall - on DC14 Con Save take half and not pushed.

Are we waiting for Shad? Just incase:
As his bonus action, Shad casts Spiritual Weapon causing a set of giant feline teeth to appear behind the creature. They attack it: 23 to hit, for 3 damage.
As his action, he casts Mirror Image and three duplicate "Shads" seem to pop into existence.

(Witch dex save: 11 Ball dex save: 18)
(Witch con save: 15 Ball con save: 18)
The witch is struck with the full force of the thunderwave spell. She is knocked back ten feet, but not enough to hit the cave wall. The glowing ball of light, does little to resist the attacks and goes flying as well.
You hear loud footsteps coming from the west, but see no sign of the skeleton.
The witch retaliates against Qinfaren by stepping closer and attacking with her claws.
(Dammit, both con saves initially failed. Also you must all make a DC11 Wis saving throw or become frightened. Unless you choose to avert your eyes and attack with disadvantage on the witch.)
The firbolg moves a fraction too slowly after casting his spell. He doesn't raise his shield in time and the witch's claws dig deep. Blood runs freely down his arms.

Qinfaren takes a step back, looks at the others and points behind the cauldron.
"Found the anglers," Qinfaren says then looks back to the old woman. "You killed them and now you're cooking them. Why?"
Qinfaren is more confused and surprised than anything at this point. He has no idea why someone would do something like this.
"An' more to the point, how," Arogna says, glaring at the elderly woman. "Qinfaren, this ain't your friend. We gotta go, lady."
Qinfaren slowly absorbs what has happened and nods as Arogna grounds his thoughts.
"Yes, she is no friend. But a danger," Qinfaren says.

"I am no longer interested in eating anything you have prepared. Nope," Shad says. "No way."

Qinfaren's usually cheerful appearance changes quickly as a deep frown shows on his face.
"You are evil and shouldn't be allowed to stay out here," Qinfaren says as he hands begin shaping a spell.
