Ricky shrugs. "Might be callous, but no sense getting worked up over a murderer's wife deciding the killin' ain't done yet and gettin' killed herself." He takes a look in the basket
"We'll kill your way into office yet, don't worry," Bàn assures Ricky.
"I suppose we really can't blame her for knocking boots with the other Verbeeg though, eh? I can't imagine either of them had a lot of options..." Bàn idly considers as he glances over what the female was carrying. "Hmm, looks like metal fragments!"
Owl, meanwhile, flies back into the caves and scouts around more. Once again it'll stick to the right wall as much as possible so as to try and not get lost...

Bàn takes a closer look at the metal as well (Arcana 15) but really doesn't expect anything. He has Owl land on the edge of the put and look down it to see if it's just a well for water or if it perhaps has a more nefarious purpose (120' darkvision and Perception: 23)
"How you doing Ricky?" Bàn asks eventually, remembering how injured he had been. "Perhaps we should rest up here for a bit before exploring further?"
Bàn studies the metal as well. However, he is not able to determine the metal's origins either. Whilst Owl peeks into the pit and sees that it is filled with bones, trash and filth.

Carrying on, Owl flies southwest back to the cavern with the goats and sheep before veering north into another tunnel. This tunnel curves to the west, where it opens to another cave. Six baskets are suspended from the ceiling of this chamber by a series of ropes and pulleys.
Qinfaren also examines the metal but sees that this material is different from chardalyn. However, he cannot determine where it came from.
Seeing everyone else fail with the material, with the help from Blue.

Bjorn and Blue determine that this is not a metal that can be found in this world. That it must have come from somewhere else. They also determine that it must be of some value to the right buyer.

"We should rest first, heal up... But then my little friend has found something that could... be something?" Bàn says, describing the baskets best he can from what Owl relays to him.
"We could rest in the entrance to the cave here," Qinfaren says. But then looks lost in thought for a moment. "Not of this world? Maybe from another plane? The feywild?"
Bjorn shakes his head, "No, I think think it fell to the ground from the skies from above. But, yes, I think it best that we take a short rest here. Ricky probably could do with a rest."

Qinfaren looks around quickly, half expecting another verbeeg to leap out of the woods at them, but once what Bjorn says sinks in, he takes a breath.
"What's this then, the second relationship we've had an affect on now?" Qinfaren says to Bjorn.
Qinfaren moves over and looks in the verbeeg's basket.
"Maybe it's lunch," he says.
Ricky shrugs. "Might be callous, but no sense getting worked up over a murderer's wife deciding the killin' ain't done yet and gettin' killed herself." He takes a look in the basket

Bjorn shrugs, "I guess it gets lonely up here when you don't belong to a tribe?"
Ricky looks in the basked and sees a large collection of metal fragments. However, the metal looks strange. Nothing like Ricky has seen before.

Ricky takes a look at the metal fragments. Unfortunately, he has no idea where the metal could have come from. It is just very peculiar.
Owl enters back into the cave and continues to explore the cave.
In this part of the cave, Owl discovers a dead-end cavern with a crudely excavated, ten-foot-wide pit in the middle of the floor.

((Eww, Verbeeg waste!! Owl can continue on! lol..))
Qinfaren looks at the basket when he hears it has metal fragments.
"Not shiny black metal rock by any chance?" Qinfaren asks.

Qinfaren looks up into the sky. Metal falling from the air sounds like a worrying problem. Hopefully more isn’t coming.
He looks over at the cave entrance and decides to rest there with the roof of the cave over his head.
Ricky is already asleep, a tiny ball of bruises and blood curled up by a tree. His cloak drawn over him like a blanket
