“He looked to deep in the beer mug this one. It was the alcohol that ended his life the poor soul. “Basina says standing up.
She turns to Rushel
”Sorry about the table, it seemed a god choice in the moment and it did clear up the fighting. I guess you had to be there to understand” she says a bit sheepish and hands over 10GB. ”That will cover it I hope” she continues looking at the remains of the faintly glowing table.
“It won’t glow that much longer, I don’t think. Never used it on a table before”
Mal sighs. "Needed to cut him off, then. You're the bartenders."
Leaning back against the wall, he adds: "By the way, we've got a cult after us now. Like an entire cult. Across the entire kingdom. And every damn corner of everywhere. They want the pendants. So that's a thing."
"He's cut off now," Gorokum says to Mal. "He will not cause any more trouble."
He pauses and thinks about what Mal said at the end.
"We'll have to be more careful, and will need to start keeping watch at night," he says. "Is it possible this cult has some of the pendants already? Perhaps we should go looking for them rather than wait for them to find us."
"He's cut off now," Gorokum says to Mal. "He will not cause any more trouble."
You see Mal'thrae's eye twitch. He seems to visibly be restraining himself, and he brings himself over to one of the intact tables before burying his face in his palms for a second.

"Thank you, but I don't recommend staying in town much longer, because the Black Cult members will know where you go, and will try to kill you at any moment they can."
"Aye - plus, you know, the manslaughter charges. Although... do you have a temple here in town where they can actually bring back the dead? Got to have a pretty powerful cleric there to do it, but that's basically our only hope at this point."
Gorokum looks back down at the dead drunk, trying to understand what all the fuss is about. The drunk was disrespectful, and from the sounds of it, he had been for awhile. This was his inevitable and just fate. The laws of these people were too different from home for Gorokum to ever truly fit in here.
”Our time in this village seems at an end then. Unless we can find one of these cult members we should likely move on. Perhaps back to the capital. There were still strange goings on there that could could lead us to more pendants.”
Jadyn stays quiet throughout the entire bar encounter, eerily watching the action that goes on around him. The only reaction that is obvious on his face is a distinct reaction at the sight of the dead dwarf. The usually calm cleric is visibly shaken.
”Well that would be nice” Basina says. “I have never been in one of those before and it would let us travel faster than on foot. Unless you think we should try to get hold of some horses.”

Is it safe to assume this isn't actually a chariot but is really a coach or carriage? A chariot would only be able to hold maybe one person plus the driver. Gorokum's response below assumes a coach they would all fit in/on. If it really is a chariot, will need to rethink his response.
Gorokum nods to Basina.
"The faster we're out of this town the better, I think." he says. "It could take time to find horses and even then their may not be any. If this conveyance will leave now, we should take it."
He looks around at the others.
"We should take turns riding on top with the driver to keep watch. I can go first."
(Perception while riding as look out - if the party agrees to this plan - 16 )

(Yes, it is a coach, my mistake)
"Very well, hand over the silver and hop in." On the ride, you strangely find several shrubs rustling, but nothing comes out of them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jadyn will hop into the cart but is skeptical of this man. Could he be a member to that assassin’s guild masquerading as a cart driver? He will try to deduce the drivers intentions.

He does not look like a member of the Black Cult, but he does seem like the kind of man who'd do anything to make a quick buck
Mal hops in the coach, handing over the silver. He seems pretty nonchalant - if this is all a trap he'll cross that bridge when they get to it, but for now no point worrying about it.
With some trouble, her short statue and the massive armour, Basina happily climbers onboard seating her self so that she can have a view of the road behind them.

Gorokum climbs up next to the driver to keep an eye on the road as they travel, handing over a silver piece as he does.
"How long will this trip take?" he asks the driver. "We'll give you a bonus if we make it quickly and safely to our destination. Plus more for any information you can share."
He looks up and down the road.
"I imagine you meet a lot of different people in your work. Have you heard much about something called the Black Cult?"

"The trip will take about one hour without delays or detours. The Black Cult? They are a dangerous group, and kill anyone who they suspect has a key pendant. Nobody knows why they want the Rubies of Light, but if they get them, our kingdom will remain dark forever."
