“I was going to do it under Madam Eva’s tent hoping we could protect ourselves, but obviously the Madam can’t protect herself at the moment so I will say this. I believe the book is a personal item of Strahd,” says Dormark quietly to the Group.
> Sandu then turned to Galqarin. 'So what's the deal with... ?' He pointed a finger at his own face and traced a circle in the air, referring to what the bugbear was wearing.
"Madam Eva thought best I hide face so get hung less." Galqarin rubs his neck. As an afterthought, he continues, "She said it belonged her brother. Maybe they think he monster too?"
Dormark - Ireena lets out an audible gasp as you state the likely origins of the book."Hadn't we best destroy it!" she says fearfully,"What good can come from an item which once belonged to that MONSTER!" Ismark nods gravely, "Might be for the best... Do... Do you think that this item is what might have caused the current events plaguing the camp?"
“It is a possibility, but Ive been trying hide this information so unless we’re extremely unlucky I don’t think he knows. But it is also not the first time Strahd has to tried to cause trouble for us. Also, it would be a bit rash to destroy something that could gives us information. We should be careful until we can hide our presence so not to raise suspicions,” says Dormark speaking softly to the group.

'No.' Sandu replied in a resolute voice. 'The book was already here before we arrived. If anything had happened beforehand, they would have told us.' He stroked his beard in that pensive manner he believed made him think clearer. 'I think this is more likely an isolated event.'
He then took a moment to process what Ireena's words could imply. 'What, like a spellbook or something?'
Sandu- Ireena drops her voice, "I'm not sure... what if the book is cursed. What happens if it is not the boon we believe it to be? If it could fool Madam Eva?" She shrugs.
“We can’t simply destroy it because it might be dangerous. All weapons are dangerous if you are on the wrong end of them. But, if we can wield whatever we find here, than we might start to get the upper hand. Besides, Madame Eva sent us looking for something to help us and we rind this book. Coincidence? I think not.”
Valerie stands aside listening to the debate without interjecting. In fact, she has no idea what her stance on the matter. On one hand, the book could be useful and might be able to help them. On the other hand, it might gives Stradh more reasons to ambush them if it really belong to Stradh.

'I'm with Ioben on this one.' Sandu added his two copper. 'Though I do think that when we read the book, we should do so away from the Vistani camp.'
He looked around. 'Speaking of: are we staying another night or will we be leaving soon?'
"We should leave, we have found what we were seeking, and we need to get to Vallki. It looks like one of the biggest towns on the map and we could find more info and some work for us. Currently I think most us are under equipped to be dealing with powerful undead, most of us only using basic weapons. I hope we can rectify that traveling there. However we should stop by this winery and see what we can find there since this was another suggestion from Madam Eva," Dormark says pulling out the map to look at it.
Mid-Afternoon - Day 4 - Back on the Old Svalich Road
Ismark and Ireena upon hearing the party talk about moving-on begin to pack away the makeshift camp. A number of the Vistani seem to now keep their distance from the group. Madam Eva, after much persuasion, has been ushered back into her tent to rest.
Petyr and Shey spend sometime wishing the party well before disappearing into their wagon. Moments later Shey returns,"I know it ain't much..."she starts by way of explanation,"... bu'... please accept these gifts. To 'elp ya on yer journey." She hands over a number of items (see below);
1x Stone carved into the shape of a raven with a glistening green eye ((a Luckstone))
A small pouch containing: - 83Copper Pieces, 44Silver Pieces, and 18 Gold Pieces
"Please take care of yerselves..." Shey says earnestly, "I dun' know wha' ya path may 'old. But I do know it's likely to be peril-ous." She wipes away a tear,"Make sure ta come by if ya ever need anythin'. Ya 'ear?!" Petyr nods his head and comforts his wife,"Good luck on tha road a'ead... friends."
Spotting you are about to leave a middle-aged Vistani woman with dark hair and green eyes, a magpie sits on her shoulder; Galqarin you know this lady to be Eliza."Excuse me! Excuse me, before you go!" Eliza shouts out,"Have you seen Galqarin? I've been lookin' all over for 'im! Meant to ask him a favour before y'all left!"
Galqarin is torn between honesty, and heeding the warning sown by Madam Eva. He does his best to look as inconspicuous as a seven foot tall, masked Vistani can in the hope that one of the others will concoct a suitable story.
Valerie approaches the woman. "I am sorry, Galqarin had to left for his personal matter, but he will return to us after he finishes." She glances to the direction where Galqarin is with the corner of her eyes. She seems to hesitate for a moment, then she turns back to the woman with a smile. "Do you mind tell me what favor you want to ask from him? Maybe we can help you too."
Ioben graciously accepts the gifts from Shey and pockets them to be distributed later on. “You two look after yourself. We don’t know that things are finished here.”
Valerie - Eliza smiles at you, her magpie hops from leg to leg on her shoulder,"Ahh I though 'e might'a left, shame. He seemed to have a natural affinity with me niece - Tara."She continues on absent-mindedly, "The favour? Oh, well it was silly really... I heard you might be on your way to Vallaki, wondered if you might pick-up something for me." Eliza smiles sheepishly,"You see there is a little girl - Arabelle - located in the Vistani camp just outside of Vallaki, it is her name-day soon and I wanted to get her something. If you could find your way to Blinsky's Toys in Vallaki I was wonderin' if you could buy her something - there is a little monkey doll I had my eye on, but anything suitable would be just as good."
She looks around at the party,"I mean... well I know it's a silly thing to ask. You would be reimbursed for your trouble."At that she pulls out a note from her pocket,"A letter"she declares,"addressed to Luvash, the leader of the Vistani camp. It basically asks that you be given admittance and be paid 25 gold pieces on delivery of a toy for Arabelle." Eliza once again almost looks apologetically around the group,"I'm sorry to ask, it's jus' I didn't want her to miss out... on her name-day." She offers the letter to Valerie, "I though Galqarin might be able ta help... you know, he'd probably pick something good for Arabelle. Oh well."
“Of course miss, happy to oblige, but that seems to be a lot of money for a simple delivery. Is there anything else we should know about the road ahead,” asks Dormark passing the chest to the masked bugbear.

"If it belong to... the Count, he must miss it very much", observes Galqarin, thinking of his own precious book.
"Yeah, let's at least read it before we destroy it, unless...." Baern looks back towards Madam Eva's tent. "unless it's too dangerous even for that."
“We can’t simply destroy it because it might be dangerous. All weapons are dangerous if you are on the wrong end of them.
