A wispy shadow begins to exude from Felix’s skin, coming off of him in a visible aura of evil. His eyes go solid black and shadows coalesce around his fingers, forming solid, black claws. He grins and his teeth are all razor sharp. "How about you?!"He screams in his high-pitched voice, pointing at Valerie. He lets out a final scream before launching himself at the party - most of his skin fallen away, you see the fiend rather than 'Felix' ((image below)).

((I realise that there might be some jostling for position / the positions might not be how you envisioned - any issues then just let me know! As always if you would rather have a different symbol / colour, let me know... I tried to differentiate!))
Dormark -Expecting a fight to unfold you are unperturbed when you see the fiend take its form in front of you. Acting quickly you spring into action, ready to free the orphanage from this fiend's foul influence - it is your turn.
Dormark - Your Spiritual Weapon crashes down on Felix but fails to connect as he seemingly fends it off. "Moradin?" It asks in it's shrill voice, "That name has no power here!". You quickly silence it with your follow-up attack; your magical mace connects with Felix's arm and it screams out in pain.
Galqarin -((You know it is a fiend - but do not know much more than that. An Arcana check may reveal more of it's nature.))
Reeling from Dormark's attack, Felix quivers with anger before his mouth curls up in an eerie smile. "Want to know what happened to the real Felix? Ever ask yourself that? Let me show you. RISE FELIX, kill these intruders!" The fiend screams.
There is a mighty cracking sound from the chest in the centre of the room as a flayed child's arm splits the wood asunder. This is shortly followed by a groaning sound as a ghoulish figure emerges from the chest. The fiend laughs maniacally as the ghoul stands and moves to attack Valerie, swiping at her with it's claws;
Ghoul: Attack: 18 Damage: 10
Valerie - The ghouls claws rake across your shoulder, narrowly penetrating your defences - you take 10 slashing damage, please roll a Constitution Saving Throw.
The fiend turns it's full attention to Dormark and proceeds to launch a series of attacks; firstly swiping at the Warforged, before attempting to bite down on his metal frame;
Claw Attack: Attack: 16 Damage: 9
Bite Attack: Attack: 23 Damage: 12
4
Dormark - The claw attack ineffectually scratches as your frame without dealing any damage. The bite however manages to land - you take 12 piercing damage and your charisma score drops by 4 points.
Ioben - You watch in horror as the scene unfolds in front of you; Valerie is currently locked in combat with a flayed ghoul, whilst Dormark valiantly goes toe-to-toe with the fiend that had assumed Felix's appearance. The time has come for you to act.
((Arcana: 4, assuming I can do it out of sequence and it doesn't consume my action - otherwise disregard. Given the roll, you can probably disregard it in any case!))
As the the ghoul attacks Valerie, Ioben reacts immediately by throwing his dagger at the creature (Attack: 15 Damage: 7 + Sneak: 10)
Then, as the dagger flies toward his enemy, Ioben scrambles across the boxes to try and get down to Dormark.
Going to stick to the wall Figure the boxes are rough terrain, so half speed. Can I do an acrobatics check to make it to the far side of the crate the ghoul came out of? Up 4 spaces? Acrobatics: 10
Cunning action to dash, trying to get to Dormarks left side in line with him
Ioben - You accurately throw your dagger at the ghoul, it's blade thunking into the side of it's head. It staggers a little as the dagger makes contact and lets out a half-groan, half-wailing sound. You proceed to flip over the crates in front you, almost losing your balance as you go, and land safely on the side closer to the fiend.
Valerie - Thankfully you suffer no ill-effect from the ghoul's claws.
Galqarin swings his raven-headed staff at the ghoul of Felix, his long hairy limbs stretching out from underneath his vermillion robes and whirling in a flurry of movement. He touches Valerie on the shoulder, converting some of his inner Ki to vitality, before leaping over the boxes against the left wall of the room[1].
Reach 10'. Quarterstaff attack: 9 Damage 5 (bludgeoning). Flurry of blows attack: 25 (crit) Damage 10 (bludgeoning). Hand of healing[2]: Restore 7 hp to Valerie.
(([1] So that he ends up level with Valerie against the left wall. I'm assuming a 5' scale?)) (([2] Shown as hand of harm in the game log as I couldn't find a roller for it - its the same anyway))
Valerie - Unfortunately your sword swings wide as you attempt to put the ghoul out of it's misery.
Galqarin - Everything is a blur as you unleash your attacks with unmatched speed. Though your Quarterstaff sails wide of it's intended target, it acts as a useful distraction, your hand cracks into the ghoul. The animated body of Felix seems uncomprehending at first before collapsing forwards with one final agonised groan.
Taking little time to celebrate your victory, you proceed to heal Valerie and make your way towards the remaining fiend.
Sandu - From your position you watch as the rest of your party start moving into position. The combined attacks of Ioben and Galqarin have quickly dispatched the animated corpse of the child, you assume to have been Felix, with relative ease. Only the fiend remains. It currently appears to be locked in close combat with Dormark; exchanging blows it looks as though the Warforged is struggling to overcome the fiend. It is your turn.
((If you would like to make an Arcana check to attempt to identify the fiend, you can do so without using an action.))

((Galqarin - is that where you were alluding to? In line with Valerie against the left wall.))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
A torrent of emotions whirled around in Sandu's mind. He felt sorry for the thing that once must have been the child Felix, even if it was no longer human and putting it down for good was a mercy on its behalf. Disgust followed when Sandu's eyes trailed from the downed heap of flayed flesh to the thing that called itself 'Felix'. But that soon was overcome with rage: rage and anger towards the abomination that stood there, mocking all that was humane and decent with its mere presence.
The part of him that was not consumed by utter contempt was racing through memories of old, his studies before he wound up in this accursed place, to see if he had ever encountered, read or saw something that could explain what had happened. Meanwhile, Sandu found himself lobbing a bolt of energy at the thing, the magic powered by raw emotion.
You have heard tales of a demon known as a 'Maurezhi'; this demon can wear the skins and assume the form of it's victims. You cannot quite recall all that you heard, but are aware that they have a highly contagious bite... a bite that, if the tales are to be believed, can turn those bitten into mindless ghouls.
Sandu - The bolt of energy goes shooting out from your hands and smacks into the side of the fiend. It yells out in pain as the bolt strike it - penetrating it's defences."It stings! It stings!" the monster screams as it glares at you.
Baern - You watch as Sandu's spell strikes the creature, causing it to cry out in pain. You know that in mere moments the fiend will once again unleash a series of attacks with renewed ferocity. For the moment however, it is your turn to act.
