Adabra frowns. "For a dragon to stop?" She shrugs. "Food, like with that one." She points to the hill. "I don't have the kind of treasure that would catch it's attention."
She goes inside, leaving the door open.
"We should spend the night here. She might not be worried, but I'm not so sure."
The two of you follow her into the windmill. The room is about 25 feet square. There is a millstone in the center, with a thick wooden post sticking up and through the ceiling. Around it, against the walls, are tables and shelves of bottles, herbs, plants, and flowers. There is an unlit hearth squeezed into one corner. It is homey, if a bit crowded. She leaves the bag by one of the tables, lights a small candle, and waves you to follow her up the short stairs, along one wall, to a trapdoor.
The second floor is clearly her living quarters, only 15 feet across. There is a bed in the opposite corner, a small dresser off to one side and a small table next to the bed. In the middle of the floor you see the rest of the post, capped by the gears that connect it to the blades. You see the window that you first saw her at. Curiously, the stairs do not extend up from the trapdoor, but rather back in the same corner they started downstairs. You continue up to the third floor.
The floor is also 15 feet. You see the blades out the window on one side and the top of its connecting gear. But there is room enough for you both to lay your bedrolls.
Adabra leaves the candle and goes back downstairs, returning a little later with simple sandwiches of meat and cheese and a jug of water. "I imagine you need some rest. I'll be puttering around downstairs so I shouldn't bother you. Not be using the millstone til the morning so no worries. If you need something just holler down. Night."
It is not yet nightfall, but you lay out your beds and eat.
"I did not think this errand was going to be this...interesting."
You rest. Waking up as the sun comes over the trees. (long rest)
You find more sandwiches and water in front of you, the dishes from last night gone.
You gather your things and head down the stairs.
As you appear onto the main floor, Adabra looks over from one of the tables. You see a few of the creature's spikes on the table in front of her.
"Sleep well, I hope. Thank you again for your help, yesterday. I have an extra healing potion for you."
She waves to a table near you.
((Decide who should carry the potion and add it to their inventory. Go to Equipment on your sheet, Add Items and do a search for it under Other Gear. Kinda skipped over it before but you can't share potions))
"And that there is a letter you can give to Harbin, telling him thanks, but no."
"Oh, I'll be fine. Like I said, don't have much to interest a dragon. But I thank you for the concern, and again for the help." Adabra leans against the table, looking at you. "If you're back this way, feel free to stop in."
"We just might. Thank you for the room, and the meals."
She walks you to the door and stands there as you walk away, waving as you enter the treeline.
After about an hour and half walk on a fine, clear morning you see Phandalin.
You each take 12 coins, deciding to use the extra one to start an as-needed purse. You decide to split up and walk around.
You turn to the left, cut across the grassA bit to your right you see a rough arch made of stones. A look around shows they mos likely came from a nearby ruin. You see some dried flowers stuck in the crevices, a half filled wooden bowl of water, and a small clay medallion with the name of Tymora on it, hanging from the center of the arch.
Turning Right again you see a two-story building. A wooden sign by an open door says Stonehill Inn. You remember the fella who had put up the job notices mentioning it.
You pass a few buildings, seeming to be unused, before coming to another building. From the few items out front you take this to be a general store, with common adventuring gear.
You head back to the Townmaster’s Hall to meet Ruby.
“I saw a shop for weapons and armor, called the Lionshield Coster. And a Miner’s Exchange.”
"I just glanced around, but they seem to have most of the usual stuff. And for a fair price. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, though."
As you're talking you see a young tiefling about to walk past. You call out to him, asking about where to find healer's kit. "Only place I know of is Adabra's windmill. She lives out that way," he points the way you know well. "But she does potions, not kits. Good enough price, 50 gold pieces."
((Miner's exchange is where miners bring their finds and have them weighed, measured, and paid out))
You head toward the two-story inn. The door is still open and you see a couple of people walking in.
As you enter, the main room opens to the left. On your right is a small desk to rent the rooms upstairs. There is a lit fireplace in the middle of the long wall and a bar across the entire of the far wall.
There six tables spread throughout the room, half filled. As you look around you see the fella from the job board. He nods at you from the bar and points at an empty table. "Have a seat, be there in a minute."
He turns and walks thru a door behind the door. From the brief glimpse you gather it's the kitchen.
You sit down and true to his word he returns. "Guess you finished whatever job. Congratulations. What can I get you?"
Adabra frowns. "For a dragon to stop?" She shrugs. "Food, like with that one." She points to the hill. "I don't have the kind of treasure that would catch it's attention."

"I agree"

"we will stay vigilant, heal, and leave in the morning if we can't convince here to come with us then maybe the gnomes will be more fruitful."

(I will take the potion)
I take the letter "thank you, are you sure you don't want to leave to the village?"
"Oh, I'll be fine. Like I said, don't have much to interest a dragon. But I thank you for the concern, and again for the help." Adabra leans against the table, looking at you. "If you're back this way, feel free to stop in."

"well I guess we can drop off the letter"
The two of you head to the Townmaster's Hall. There are no new notices on the job board.
You knock on the door, hard because you know to now. It takes a while but...
"If you're a dragon, I am not tasty! Go away!"
I quietly chuckle and say "I have a letter from Adabra" after I regain my composure.
"Adabra! You were supposed to bring HER! Slip the letter under the door!"
You do so and you see the edge quickly disappear. There is a long pause, then one by one you see gold coins shoved under the door. 25 in total.
((You and Ruby are level 2 now))
"alright I say we split it see what store's are around and then head to the rock gnomes"

“I saw a shop for weapons and armor, called the Lionshield Coster. And a Miner’s Exchange.”
(I'm specifically looking for a healer kit or anything that heals also whats a miners exchange)
"There s a general store and the Inn the man mentioned when we first where arrived. Did you see anything good at Lionsheild?"
"I just glanced around, but they seem to have most of the usual stuff. And for a fair price. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, though."

"lets grab a bite to eat at the inn and move on"
You head toward the two-story inn. The door is still open and you see a couple of people walking in.

"A drink and any information"
"One here too."
"Two ales coming up. Be 2 coppers each."
He leaves and comes back with two mugs. "Here you go. Now, what do you want to know? Name's Bram, by the way. You are?"
"Ruby." She takes a mug and puts down 2 copper.
"Sam" gives to copper pieces. "Any information would be helpful"
