Marla reminds Misha that Floon gave her a small trinket to give to Volo, and looks slightly crestfallen about the idea of Volo indeed reneging on what he had promised. She clearly had plans for the money and this would put an stop to her early departure from Waterdeep...
Jorah quirks up at the mention of the deed, and quickly hops onto the table and grabs peers into Volo's eyes, "Youz givez uz territory!?" His own clan had to scape and fight tooth an nail for just an inch of territory down in the sewers...and this man would give them an entire building!? This was glorious! He didn't care about the house, but if he called dibs on the basement, he could help his tribe!
"Harder!"he said. "Faster! Good. Do not relent. That's right. Harder! Again."
Misha, dripping with sweat and her muscles heaving and protesting against the weight of her armor and hammer, continued to attack the target dummy. Deep in the halls of Banehold on Acheron, the Plane of War, Misha - future Prime Paladin of Bane, the Lord Tyrant and General of the multiverse swung again and again until even her genetically created body could swing no more. At the young age of only fifteen, physically she already looked like she was carved from of the hardest mountain on Toril, and her genetic programming gave her strength, fortitude, and definition unlike any mortal standards could ever achieve. She wiped her brow as Taetanicus - her Commander and father figure, approached her.
"Come here, leetle one. By Bane, you are almost ready. Soon."he said, praising her. "Hell won't know what heet them, you are going to roll over them like one of our war machines."
Misha looked up at Taetanicus and smiled weakly, but uncertainly, she looked away. He caught it.
"Mischa, I know how you feel. I was young once, too, ya? Our Father has blessed me weeth the glorious task of raising you, of training you. And, eef you were not here, I would have less of a purpose. The fact thet you are here, today, doing as well as you are, geeves me..moteevation. Nature ees smarter than people think. Leetle by leetle we lose our friends, we lose battles, we lose everything..we keep losing and losing until one day we ask ourselves 'what am I still doing here!?'"
Misha looked up as Taetanicus spoke.
"But weeth you, Mischa, I hef reason to go on. To go on despite so many chellenges, so much death, so much loss weeth our people. I em going to keep fighting and leading, and watch you do good, ya..and i'll never leef you."
Misha looked down again, because she didn't want him to see her tear up. Her lip began to shake.
"When I leef you, you'll know how to fight. You'll know how to take care of yourself OUTSIDE the training grounds, too."he continued. "Ees that ok, leetle one?"
Misha swallowed. "Ja.."her voice cracked.
"Here."Taetanicus reached into his side armor compartment and withdrew a piece of jewelry, a battered necklace that held a representation of an Acheronian rune. Something he used to wore. Something that used to mean something to him. "This here ees the most favorite theeng I hef on thees plane. I want you to hef eet. Long time ago, my Commander gave thees to me. And now, i'm geeving eet to you, Mischa, ah? Ees going to be like..how you say, an angel on your shoulder, ya? When you get heet and knocked down, leetle angel ees going to whisper into your ear: VSTAVAY SUKIN SYN!!" he screamed it so loud Misha visibly startled. "..Potomu chto Taetanik lyubit tebya, Mischa."
"Spasibo. ya tozhe tebya lyublyu.." and Misha gave him a hug, her head coming only barely above his waist, he was such a large man.
"Will the rest of you be coming to look at our new mansion? Jorah and I weren't the only ones who rescued Floon, it's your reward as much as it is ours."

"I'd be happy to take you all there now!" Volo would reply as he lets out a small sigh of relief at the fact you are all not angry. "Trollskull Manor has loads of potential. it is located in the North Ward on Trollskull Alley. It has an iconic look that I think you will all appreciate. Used to be a tavern you know... and it could be again if you put in a little elbow grease and some coin." he says as he leads the group out of the tavern and into the street. After walking through the sunny afternoon streets of Waterdeep, you make your way into the north ward and then to Trollskull Alley. As you make your way down the street, you all spot a large four story tall structure standing tall among the nearby buildings. The structure boasts balconies, a turret, and five chimneys. It is easily the grandest structure in all of Trollskull alley. "There it is my friends!" Volo exclaims as he holds his arms out wide. "Just look at it... And here... wait till you see the inside!" He adds as he pulls out a large brass key and unlocks the heavy front door. The door swings open with a loud prolonged creeeeeekk as the sunlight pierces into the dark interior of the tavern. the tavern’s taproom is filled with broken furniture, tarnished silverware, casks of wine that have turned to vinegar, other worthless junk. A few rats skitter across the floor before disappearing into holes chewed into cupboard doors and walls. "Go on in! Explore.. make yourselves at home." as he hands the key towards the group.
Jorah quickly scampers inside, looking around as he dashes back and forth, excited as a child on Christmas doped on caffeine and sugarcane. It didn't take long for him to find the hatch that led down to the basement, and he soon ran jumped up to the counter and called out. "Iz callz dibz on this cellar! Thiz Jorah the Dragon's territory now!" He couldn't wait to tell the rest of his tribe, they would love it down there. They could even dig out escape tunnels and routes to the sewers! Lucky day~

Marla shares a look with Jen. ‘A lot, is my guess. Still, it’s somewhere different to stay. Harder to find us, for now. I’d quite like the room adjoining the tower, near what used to be the library, not that I usually subscribe to wizardly stereotypes.’
Insight check on Volo, to see if he has other motives for offloading this place... 22
Marla will also make a point of sweeping the whole place with Detect Magic, to avoid unpleasant surprises...
Marla can tell that Volo is happy that you all do not appear to be too upset that he didnt pay you with coin, but is also a little sad to see the house go. you think he would have rather paid you in coin if he had the coin available.
"Well... when I purchased the property I was approached by a number of guild representatives interested in whether I was going to try to get the inn up and running again. After a short conversation I was given an estimate for about one thousand gold to completely renovate the property. That includes everything from the roof to the pipes to the sheets.. everything. There would also be around two hundred and fifty gold worth of licenses that would need to be purchased as well. Now if you decide against turning this back into a functioning tavern than obviously you wouldnt have to spend quiet as mu h coin fixing it up... but I will tell you that there are not many taverns in the north ward and there seems to be a lot of interest in this place returning tonite former glory." Volo says with a smile.
As marla moves around the large structure she occasionally catches a glimpse of something.. like a flicker of magic as it disappears through a wall or floor or ceiling.
"It would have been nice to know this beforehand, but never mind. I'll take the master bedroom, I've never had a room that large to myself before. Misha, your parents wouldn't be willing to lend a hand in possible tavern renovation, would they?"
