With the taverns a failure (let me know how much gold Io had to spend to listen in on the gambling tables), he takes to the markets. If Mirrie had come through here, then perhaps there would be tales and gossip among the men and the women of the town about a bundled up newcomer arriving. He hangs around the more crowded places of the markets to absorb any gossip that might help him in his search.
After spending most of the afternoon on the market, Kassiopeia returns to the ship, Hermes' pack saddle full once more and her coin purse emptier.

Kanlos would make an effort to look for any magic shortbows he could find, but other than that would hang onto his coin, you never know when you might need something to use to negotiate with a monster with.
Kanlos... You don't find any magical bows, but you do find some magical arrows. +1 and +2 arrows are available. If you are interested let me know and I'll get costs for them.
Io... You don't find any sign of the individual you are searching for. You start considering that maybe the last port she used was the previous one, and then went straight out into the uncharted seas. The only reason you stop here is that it was the planned stop for the ship, and you just happened to stop at the previous one due to needing to offload some pirates.
Everyone seeking magical items, other than Kanlos... Please roll either Investigation or Persuasion, your choice. The roll is going to decide what is available. If you do not wish to seek out a magical item, then no need to make the check.

Ritha does take the time to visit the town to pick herself up a heavy crossbow and some spare ammunition, thinking of the effectivity - or lack thereof - of her longbow underwater. She also checks to see what potions are being sold, and barring finding anything magical, would pick up a couple of mundane healing ones.
Kanlos would examine the arrows and evaluate the costs, considering purchasing a few in the event that they run into an enemy that is resistant to the mundane.
"Why yes, indeed," Ritha says with a smile. "It's hard to part with so much wealth, but... what good is wealth going to do us, where we are going? We do not even know if there will be anyone to accept any sort of currency beyond these waters. ... But we also know, we may be hard-pressed to find any more supplies. So a few healing potions would be a good investment, I think." She begins to browse through the wares, chosing a select few to purchase.

Kanlos would examine the arrows while speaking to the shopkeeper, "I'm interested in a few of these arrows, what would you say to six for two hundred gold and my assurance they will be used on a divinely guided journey?"
"Right. Healing potions can be very useful in a variety of situations. Always good to have. You're right about wealth not being as helpful as well. I plan to pay a visit to a temple of Athreos once I'm done shopping here. I assume you will be going to a temple of Thassa as well, if you haven't done so already?"
"I have already visited one," Ritha admits to Io. "It was the first thing I did upon reaching the shore. There were some interesting new customs here which I partook of, but they did not seem to impress the Goddess any more than the rituals that I have always performed. I think... it is the faith and the devotion which she takes into account, and the manner in which one displays such faith and devotion matters less than the heart one brings to the services." She smiles. "I will be returning to the ship after this, to see if there are any last minute needs of our companions or the crew that I can attend to, before we set off to the wilds unknown."
Io nods, "I agree in that faith and devotion would be what is most important. In the past, I did not have many chances to visit the temples regularly so I took to praying at home during whenever I had time and to always keep Athreos and his teachings in mind whenever I did anything. Though unfortunately, it is somewhat difficult to understand if he is truly pleased with any of the practices besides having payment ready but perhaps that uncertainty is also a part of devotion to the River's Guide."
Ritha nods in understanding. "I know... sometimes it seems harsh, that the gods would demand such specific sacrifices. But I guess it may have to do with the importance we mortals place on such pieces of coins. Perhaps if we didn't invest such value in what they symbolize - wealth, and therefore power - the gods would not demand them as tribute. I could not know... I am just a prey to these moral failings as anyone else. What I do know is that I miss the days of being able to worship Thassa simply by gathering the sea's bounty. It was comfortable, and something I could do well. But... I also think, that is why I was pushed into this journey. Getting comfortable is not something Thassa has ever approved of, after all. In that sense, our patrons align."
"Aye." Io sighs. "Our patrons do not quite like us getting too comfortable in our lives. Though maybe it's less about getting comfortable but rather, more about being comfortable with mortality, at least in the case of the River Guide. I admire your dedication to Thassa, going on this journey so you can bring better glory to her. I am... not sure if I would have the strength to undertake such a journey myself so I admire your devotion."
Ritha's smile falters a bit. "Would that I could say it is devotion alone that brought me here. My village was in decline, and it was not until recently that I understood why. We displeased the Deep-Dweller with our stagnant ways, and the signs of ruin grew too large for me to ignore. This journey is not only my attempt to bring glory to her name, but also to bring clemency to my hometown, that it might prosper again. I cannot help but admit that I am eager and excited to see what awaits next, but to claim I do so out of faith alone feels dishonest, and would paint me to be a better individual than I truly am."

'Since this is going to be the last stop before the wilderness there is no use in not spending the coins' Kassiopeia thinks to herself.
'What could I possibly find here that we might need ... and that I have not gotten at the last stop.'
Nonetheless Kassiopeia will put the pack saddle on Hermes, leash up Hector and go to town for some shopping.

Xerronios Persuasion 18
Tandor the White, Human Life Cleric
With the hopes of finding the elusive medusa fading increasingly quickly, Io will try to buy a Potion of Healing (Common).
Persuasion: 20

Kanlos would examine the arrows and evaluate the costs, considering purchasing a few in the event that they run into an enemy that is resistant to the mundane.
Ritha and Io end up at the same shop, a small shop that sells potions. There seems to be any potion of uncommon or common rarity here.
Kanlos gets quoted prices of 40 gp per +1 arrow or 75 gp per +2 arrow.
Zerronios finds two instruments, but they end up being a Horn of Silent Alarm and a flute that is an Instrument of illusion
Io buys a potion for 30 GP. He will greet Ritha, "Hello there. Are you here to buy potions?"
"Why yes, indeed," Ritha says with a smile. "It's hard to part with so much wealth, but... what good is wealth going to do us, where we are going?
