Io sighs seeing this conversation going nowhere. He then decides to ask the locals about any shrines to Athreos. The feeling of disgust would be strong still so he would like to engage in a prayer to his god in a shrine to help clear his head a bit.
(Does Ritha have to make checks to find the others? She's quite willing to light up her wand of pyrotechnics into the air to catch peoples' attention at the harbor as well, but she'd do a more subtle check first if reconvening with the rest of the team was going to be a problem)
After the group has gathered back at the boat and shared their tales, Kanlos will settle down for an early night's rest, whispering a prayer for guidance before he sleeps.
At night, when Kanlos and Ritha would explain the situation, Io would grimace a bit. It was clear that the rich folk of the island have seriously displeased the gods and are high on their own egos, thinking themselves to be more important than they are. Additionally, what was done by their ancestors was unforgivable. However, the part that rubs him the wrong way was the idea of taking vengeance. He wonders if there is some way to show the land owners the folly of their ways without violence. He will of course voice his concerns to the party. Perhaps Kanlos' vision can allow them to fear monger the landowners into righting their way? He will however want to go to the breakfast feats so that the lord doesn't become too hostile. He would pray to Athreos for clarity of mind to help him decide the righteous path.
During Long Rest, Io will swap out Guiding Bolt for Auguary and use it to ask his god for guidance. The exact question will depend on what the majority of the party decides to do.

After everyone shares their stories, Xerronios dresses in his finest garb. "I did promise them a show. Do not worry. I will extend your apologies, long day, very tired, that sort of thing." He takes his leave, Zarcan winging overhead, and heads back to Bésios' manor, arriving shortly before the 6th hour after noon.
Upon being taken to Bésios, he bows low, saying, "My felicitations, my lord. My companions are feeling the affects of long days at sea and then the excitement of the day and beg your indulgence and forgiveness for not being able to attend the evening's meal. However, I shall endeavor to entertain you and your guests as recompense for their lack of stamina." He gives Bésios his most winning smile.

Later, he plays many songs and ballads for the islanders. He chooses songs which on the surface speak of the greatness of lords and ladies, of the better nature of the wealthy but each of which carries subtle overtones of the value and importance of those who labor to make the great, great.

Since Kassiopeia merely took a nice afternoon walk by the docks and had no interaction with the people of the town, most of this is news to her. Although, from own observations she had noticed a certain lack of genuine cheerfulness of the common people.
The various stories told by her companions do paint a very dark picture, but is delighted to hear that there is a fellow follower of Karametra amongst the people and she would love to meet her should Ritha decide to go to that meeting at the tavern.
To prepare for the next day Kassiopeia will arrange things for the morning and go to sleep as early as possible.
Expecting problems she will put on her heavy scalemail in the morning and pack stuff for emergencies.
To not draw too much attention to herself she has covered her new shield with a piece of cloth which she can let go at any time.
She will also pack a small sack with seeds as a gift.
"We should all attend the breakfast feast and maintain this charade,"Ritha reminds everyone, thinking of Khloë's warning. "If we wish to catch these infidels by surprise, we must not let them know that plans are afoot."
Ritha will steel herself for another unpleasant morning at the breakfast feast, making sure to partake of her own rations first so that she will only have to give face at the banquet, rather than actually consume the excess of food likely to be provided there. Even were it perfectly safe - which she is fairly sure it is - the taste of food grown soaked in the blood of the farmers who produced it would be ash in her mouth. She sighs, not looking forward to the experience.
"Let's get this unpleasant business finished with,"she says, shaking her head. "I cannot understand those who would chose to defy the gods so flagrantly. Apart from the divine punishment that is surely owed to them... how can one live with oneself, with such corrupted morals? Nothing would ever truly feel pleasurable, and there would always be a desire for more. But the flavor missing would be the joy of compassion, not any form of material wealth."
(Xerronios, I thought your performance was for the next day? The same day of the morning feast that we're planning to attend?)
Kanlos has a similar plan to Ritha, he will eat a small breakfast before heading to the feast. While he's eating as the others prepare, "I agree, I don't know that we should simply waltz in and butcher the lot of them, but we should certainly speak on behalf of the gods. But we must do what is necessary to bring the fallen souls here to peace, failing to do so can only bring ill luck upon our voyage." At the feast, if anyone asks why he isn't eating, "I feel called to fast in memory of those who died on the island, for the honor of my Lord Athreos."
Io would ask Ritha and Kanlos, "And what of Khloe and her plans for revenge? As much as I am disgusted by the infidels here, I do not know how I feel about taking revenge on them for the actions committed by the generation prior."
„The farmers who died are the generation prior. The landowners who returned are the same corrupt people, hence the need for revenge from Khloë. Her parents were killed, and she watched it happen. Unless these are unusually short-lived humans, that means, these elder men and women feasting with us, are the murderers of her parents. And their progeny are happy to be doing the same to the farmers who live here now, judging from the anger of the other workers here. Ah, also, Khloë follows Athreos herself.“
"Of course the elders would be the same landowners. I was more concerned of their progeny. I would like to believe there would be some of them willing to listen or willing to see the plight of the workers here if they would just think about things more than their own decadence. I am still not certain if revenge is the best way to deliver the justice for those that died here. I will have to pray to The River God for clarity."
waking up very early Kassiopeia will go through her morning rituals and lastly pray to Karametra for guidance and help with her plan. (Switching out prayer of healing for Ceremony)
Since she has not taken part in yesterday’s feast she will also skip the breakfast invitation. Instead she will seek out Gnorcys for a little chat.
“I have a bad feeling about this whole situation, but I have only the accounts of my companions and thus too little information. I think it would not be a bad idea to double the watch and make sure the ship is held by the minimum number of ropes to be able to cast off quickly.“
Once Ritha comes to the deck Kassiopeia will make sure she remembers the information given to her: „It was the Salty Swan where we are supposed to meet your contact, right?“
“I am really not sure what this is all about, but I think that it is not up to us to decide this islands fate. It should be people like Kloe who have suffered the losses to decide the course of action.“
Xerronios stretches after finishing his morning exercises, wiping away the perspiration. Then he goes up on deck, dressed and kitted for the day. He nods as Kassiopeia speaks, but does not entirely agree.
"Wisely spoken, Kassiopeia, but I am not certain that's correct. The Lady of Fate and the other gods have placed us on this island and helped us learn the information on the injustices committed here, both past and present. Surely, we are meant to act. It is clear to me that but for the greed of the landowners many more would've been saved from the initial disaster. That greed cut short the threads of fate of many, such as Khloë's parents. I believe it's our task to help fix or at least redress those broken threads. Fate is balance and right now the balance is skewed in this place. We can help those most affected by that skewing to right the scales."
"My dear Xerronios, you are confusing me. You can not claim that I spoke wisely when in the same breath you claim that I might be wrong. It would not be wise to be wrong, don't you agree? ... But wordplay aside, you have pretty much said in so many words what I have prepared for. My plan is to meet up with Khloe and to help her in any way I can once she has made up her mind on what the course of actions should be. We share a similar fate and I could never stand idly by if my sister in Karametra is in need."
Kanlos nods hesitantly, "I think it only right that we give the landowners the opportunity to repent and seek forgiveness from the gods and the dead. But if they will not, I feel we are called to act."
Io nods to Kanlos and says, "I agree with this. The landowners, especially the younger ones who were not present when the volcano had erupted the first time, should be given the opportunity to repent. If they all refuse, then we should act I believe."
Io: As you seek your god's guideance you find yourself standing on the river's shore, a cloaked figure standing on the water before you. The echoing cries of people are around you, with shadowy figures standing in a group on the shore near you. The hooded figure standing on the water looks to you and then nods to the shadowy figures nearby. "Would you see these be unable to pass along my river?" An echoing voice says into Io's mind. "Those you wish to protect from their rightful vengence are the only ones who can atone for the evil done to these. Without the price to travel my river, these souls will be forever lost..." The vision ends as the shadows on the bank disappear, returning to the realm of man, until only Io and the hooded figure remain. Then that two goes blank.
Xerronios Your performance recieves some applause and the lord seems pleased you showed up to play. He waves off concern about the others, as he only requested they return for the morning meal. This performance would have happened prior to getting together with the others though, as that happened more towards nightfall than late afternoon.

Io
You can be directed to a shrine to your god. it seems well-kept, as if someone in the place is following the practices correctly.
Ritha
No checks needed, you all meet back up at the Proud Jestor.
You have an uneventful night, aboard the ship. Do you go to the lord's breakfast feast or do something different?
