The next afternoon he listens as the Captain explains the situation. "Sure, Captain," he nods, looking at the others. "We can do that."
Windlass spends the voyage trying to get to know the captain, with whom she shares a heritage and a goddess, and the party, who have been open enough to include her. She offers to pray to Thassa with the captain, leading some navigational rites for safe passage, and jumping into the water from time to time to swim under the ship, keeping an eye out for anything interesting tailing it. She enjoys it as well, utterly at peace in the water.
She also makes herself useful on deck, falling into old sailing habits. It's clear she knows her way around a sailing vessel.
"So how did you all come to find yourselves together?"she asks the party at a mealtime.
She offers to go ashore, but will disguise self to look like any other boring human sailor to blend in and observe.
So we're to find The Monsoon, which was sailed over the edge of the world, to Nyx?
Kanlos As you study the island through your spyglass you notice one item of interest. A good portion of the island's population appear to be Returned. All else seems tranquil though, the non-returned inhabitants seem to live alongside the returned without any problems.
Kanlos passes his discovery along to the others, "This could be a problem. I know my deity would wish for us to send the returned back, but doing so will likely cause difficulty with the locals."
Xerronios shakes his head. So much undead on this voyage, and wonders what The Lady of Fate thinks of the Returned. Does Fate consider them an Abomination, of little interest, or something in between. What does Klothys desire, here?

You can wait until after you roll the d20 before deciding to add the d10, but you must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails.") Totally forgot about this :)
Io sighs. He had hoped he would not find Returned living peacefully in the village. It was his duty as a worshiper of Athreos to send them back but he would not wish to break up families. He was not quite sure of what to do. He suggest, "Perhaps, we can learn a bit more for now. We can decide whether we are in a position to send the Returned back after we have more information."
Xerronios You would know that your goddess has little concern for Returned, unless they fit into some specific thread of fate. The undead are not of concern to her as a whole.
Kanlos shakes his head and shrugs, "I'm not sure there's any help for it. Whether we stop and do nothing or sail by and do nothing, it won't be much different. Does anyone have a strong opinion one way or the other?"
Io says, "I strongly wish to stop. The captain said we need supplies and I also wish to talk to the people in the island. Whether or not we do something about the Returned however, is a different matter."
As you step off the boat and onto the docks, you take in the sights of the central marketplace. Rows and rows of stalls selling fruits, vegetables, skewered meats, handcrafted tools and pottery. There is a sense of peace and serenity on this island. However, a sudden cry sends everyone panicking as a group of undead have suddenly attacked a merchant.
Four ghouls and one returned sentry are attacking a group of merchants.
Again, Io is hesitant about causing sadness and breaking up families for the sake of sending the Returned back. However this is a different case and he has no qualms about doing so. He sends a spectral hand at the returned.

Chill Touch: 23 Dmg: 14 Necrotic
Reaper: Chill Touch vs a ghoul if it is within 5ft of the Returned. 18 Dmg: 6 Necrotic
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Windlass initiative: 15
She's less concerned about the Returned and more concerned about the ghouls. Are they positioned surrounding the merchant? Does the merchant seem terrified or like they're fighting the ghouls and Returned? If there's a way to get the undead and not the living with ice knife she'd try that. If not, we're looking at a cantrip.

Io would answer, "I am looking for someone. Coming aboard this ship and sailing forth was the last lead I had."

We good to continue on to the port?
Xerronios looks at his companions. "Whatever you think best. Klothys has no particular concern for The Returned, so I will follow your lead."

Xerronios nods, "Yes. I believe the captain has made it quite clear we need to stop for supplies."

What does she know of the Returned from her studies and exploration?
