Walking down to breakfast looking like an ordinary human was a bit of an eye opener for Eve. Normally people would look at her, and then some would stare, while others would look quickly away. This morning, no one stared... no one even really looked. People casually glanced passed her, or through her...

She wasn’t sure how she felt about that. No one noticed her. No one took notice of her. The serving staff were pleasant, but they didn’t jump to it... ‘well if I ever need to blend into the background I know what to do!’, she thought to herself as she started eating.

Occasionally she would look across towards Senna, thinking, ‘Gods damn it, she even looks radiant first thing in the morning!...’. She’s starting to wonder where everyone else is. And if she’s waiting for any length of time, she’ll pull out the same little well thumbed novel to read.

Kaseon wakes slowly and stretches as he tries to wake himself up the rest of the way. Once he's as awake as he feels he's going to get, he heads down to breakfast. Seeing Senna sitting with a stranger, he joins them and nods at the newcomer, "Good morning Miss Senna, how are you this morning? I see you found yourself a new friend."

At this point Eve lets on, “Psst... it’s me!! Ha!...”. And as her two companions look over at her, she drops the spell and reverts to her usual self....

But she can’t stop giggling to herself “Hahahahahaha!.... oh dear, hahaha!... Oh my!.”.

She seems to have tickled herself somewhat with the ruse. She’s still giggling to herself as she shuffles her chair over a little closer to join the others properly.

Senna: You honestly have never seen this shape of print, it's also very faint as well not giving much in the way of clues. You know it isn't smaller like Garcis, and it almost looks like whatever made the print was walking around on the ball of each foot, causing the front claws to make contact with the floor. 

Kanithar/Edge: When you go downstairs, you find a maid cleaning up after the mud and water was tracked in last night. She tells you that the Mayor has gone to handle some business and won't be back until later. 

Anyone at the Inn finds Penn hard at work bringing out foods for several guests to break last night's fast. As you sit down at one of the tables he brings out water, ale, and milk as drinking options to see what everyone would like.

Kaseon looks at Eve intently for a moment, "Learn a new magic trick have you?"

“Yes. Yes. Breakfast. Much breakfast.” Edge says as he moves quickly to catch up with Kanithar.

As they walk he continues to talk but at the same time scanning the village to get a better sense of where they are.

”Radnoy, in Edge language, like big friend. Sometimes Edge forget strange names but not forget they friend.”

With the footprints still in mind Senna calmly eats her breakfast. She notices a local girl look at her every so often while she is eating. Senna returns a polite smile thinking nothing of it. After all she is used to being looked at for standing out, at least this one is not looking distrustful towards her. 

Good morning Kaseon, im doing well thank you. A good night of sleeping helped. Uhm my friend.. well i havent really... 

She looks to the girl sitting at a table near her not really having spoken to her but not wanting to be rude she struggles for the right words a moment. Then Eve drops her disguise. 

Oh wow.. she reacts shocked, clearly not having noticed it was Eve. Ive never seen such magic before, your very powerfull Eve. I saw your magic in the fight yesterday and now this.. its so different from mine.. its remarkable. 

She looks to Kaseon. You have some powerfull magic as well Kaseon. But imagine changing how you look, wouldnt that be something? She remains silent a moment lost in her thoughts. There was a time i would dream of such an ability. But no more.. Im happy to see the real you Eve, you dont have to hide yourself from us.. never from us.

Actually Kaseon is the first human ive ever met that was so at ease with so many different looking people in one group. 

“Yep, I’ve been working on it!... what do you think?!” Eve says to Kaseon and Senna. “I’m not sure how much use it will be against another...” she stops herself, and looks around to make sure no one can overhear, and quietens her voice, “...against another ‘one of those things’!... ...but it helps me blend in. It could come in handy!.. and it’s fun anyway! Ahah...!”.

Eve blushes at Senna’s kind words, not that it really shows. She’s impressed with her? All of a sudden she’s all fingers and thumbs and lost for words. “I wouldn’t say.. powerful?!... You think I’m...? No.. I... ahah, you.... I... it’s just ‘tricks’ really. Nothing........You’re the one with... you... what you did with your hands... the glow... your hands, they saved the mayor’s daughter...”.

Eve is looking wide eyed at Senna like a child marvelling at something rare and precious, gazing from the woman’s hands, to her eyes, and back to her hands, over and over...

Kaseon flinches slightly at Senna’s remark about his being human and looks around before quietly replying, “Not everything that looks human is human. But I think thats a conversation better had somewhere else.” Continuing at a normal volume, “It seems as though all three of us have our own gifts with magic, though we each have our own areas of focus.”

Eve stands up, waving both arms, as she sees Kanithar enter the Inn. "KANITHAR!!.. OVER HERE!....", she calls out, with a beaming smile, even though it's obvious where they are. "Is that Edge with you too...?". While she's still stood up, and as Kanithar approaches the table, she raises both palms up high, inviting Kanithar in for a double high five greeting if he'll take it.

Still stood, she calls out, "Penn?... Can we get another two breakfasts over here? Heavy on the meats!.... Thanks!".

She elbows Kanithar about nine times as he sits down, and more quietly says "Eh!.. Eh?.....Psst. Out all night were you?! Back to the bar??.. Ha! Thought maybe you got lucky!... I'm just joking... where'd you two get to? Or were you up early??".

Then to the rest of the group, as she tucks into more breakfast, "Everyone's night okay? What's the plan for today?... ".

Then looking around, "Oh hey, anyone seen Garcis?...".

"Pwah-haha!...", Eve almost spits her drink everywhere when Kanithar mentions pork. And she struggles not to choke with laughter! "Don't!... Oh hells. That's bad. That's so funny!...".

When he references Black Fang, she looks in awe, and says "Oh yes, that's right!... Can I hold her??!". If Kanithar lets her see the blade, they quickly realise it's like a clear foot taller than she is! She stands up as tall as she can against it, then presses her cheek against it's six-inch-wide blade giving it a kind of hug. "The Damned!!" she says, in awe. She steps back and flicks the blade with a talon to make it ring a little, enjoying the sound, "She's  gorgeous!... I won't try to lift it!... I bet you can't wait to try it!?....".

Edge smiles at everyone as he sits down at the table.

"Edge not fan of rain so stay mayor's house with," he pauses and works out the next syllables very carefully, speaking like a small child learning a new word and misplacing the emphasis and stress "Ka-ni-thar. Now dry so Edge happy."

Then he claps his fur covered hands together, pleased with himself for remembering Kanithar's name.

"Edge think maybe visit blacksmith. Maybe put silver on rapier," then he stops and looks more closely at Eve. "Someone much happy today. Good. Big good sign."

If Edge is following close behind Kanithar when they come in, he can benefit from some residual high five energy from Eve and get one too!

When he speaks about her mood today, she says “You would be much happy too, if you could do this... check this out! I’ve been working on something...”. She turns her back on him for a second, makes an elaborate fuss of shaking her hair about, mutters some arcane words and gestures in the air.

When she turns back, she’s dressed the same as she always is, but she looks like a female tabaxi (or a rough approximation of one)! She has piercing split green eyes, and has attempted the only cat-colour she could remember from growing up, nothing fierce, more like a tabby or a calico. And she looks far more like a domestic cat than Edge does.

”Ha! It’s cool huh?!”. Shortly, she changes back, and is laughing at herself all over again.

Senna greets Kanithar and Edge as they come in, Good morning. She exchanges smiles but doesnt get quite as excited as Eve. 

Thats a strong looking sword Kanithar. Where did you get it? Not having been in the mayors house Senna will not of heard of the sword. 

Senna will then look at Eve showing off her new abilities with a childlike joy. Its an addictive feeling, one that she is not that used to seeing. 

Me? We all fought the boars. I couldnt of fought them alone..

She pauses to find the right words. 

I mean i helped her heal but im sure others could of stopped her bleeding. You did very well yourself, charging in like that for strangers. Takes courage to do that. Im sure that sword will serve you well. 

Senna will wait for Garcis to arrive (posting to not delay the story for this while i sleep). 

When the whole group is gather she will lean forward and with a whispering voice she says. Uhm Edge you said like mysteries right? A bit of hesitation is shown on her face. Yesterday before i went to sleep i checked my room. She looks around a bit unsure. Im sure its nothing but.. Someone was in my room. Im positive they didnt take anything but someone or something was looking for something in my room.

She looks around to make sure nobody overhears them. I found a footprint. I dont know exactly what it belongs to but it was an animal footprint, about the size of a human. With a worried face she says Perhaps there are more creatures like the one we fought. Maybe you guys can keep an eye out?
