GB looks to the party and walks over and kicks the now dead shaman.  

"GB curses your soul."  he gives it another kick. "GB is spent.  GB say we rest before too much further.  Scan and secure area, if not we continue on, GB get by."

Lana nods and looks at the group "Yes I think a rest is needed in this case, if we go deeper in we are needing to be at full recovery for the journey." She looks around the dead Orcs to see if there was anything of value on them.

Bel wipes the blood from his blade before resheathing it and begins investigating the room. “A rest would be good”

// Go ahead and describe in character what you do in the long rest. 6 hours of that rest must be sleep (except for elves with the trance ability—elves only require 4 hours of semi-conscious meditating for a long rest to be effective), and the other two hours during the rest can be used to do things like preparing spells, attuning or identifying magic items, or cooking/eating food.

Otherwise, will just need to know who is taking turns with two-hour watches (elves can do two consecutive watches). Please work this out among you in character.

The long rest is also a great opportunity for a bit of discussion, so feel free to take the chance to talk to each other a bit! //

Bel turns to the others, “I will take the first watch” as he takes out some rations and finds him self a good position to watch the entrances and not be seen by whatever comes in.

Aregarak is already asleep in the middle of the floor

GB shuffles around his bag for some rations and wine and nods to Aregarak asleep.

"GB thinks big one tired himself out, huh?"  GB begins nibbling on some food and looks to Lana and Bel.

"You leave and you make it back barely in time to assist with orcs, paths to town clear then?"

Lana smiles at the big guy as she curls up leaning against Spirit her faithful friend already softy purring. Looking over at GB "What brings you on this journey" she asks him as she begins to nibble on some of her own rations. "Bel I will take the next watch I only need to Meditate a few hours, that will give plenty of time for the big guy and GB to rest well" she said softly before turning her attention back to GB.

// yeah just wake me when its my watch - I can take the last one - as a pirate sailor you learn to sleep when and where you can which is why he can sleep just about anywhere //

GB looks back to Lana and her companion and shudders a little at the purr of the big cat.

"GB likes to drink.  GB dislikes evil.  Luckily good coin for ridding locals of evil to buy drink.  GB lost all he had to evil and evil god so now  work to rid evil...GB is too sober to continue on this topic... Why are you here...and why does your cat do so little in battle?

Lana smirks at his comment about her friend "I have raised Spirit since she was a cub and I prevent her from getting to much into the battles because I value her companionship and do not want her to be harmed. But do not worry she will when the time has come. I have come here in search of a family heirloom that I have been searching for as long as I have known Spirit, taken by a clan of Orcs and had heard rumors of this place so my search led me here." 

/ooc I have not let Spirit fight as much because I was afraid of her getting killed and Lana and Spirit have a very special bond but that may change.

// Well I didn't know but Away mentioned it me so we are working Spirit in so she can be a little more useful. This is the first game I have really played with any detail so I wasn't sure how it worked. Just we were all dropping like flies there for a bit Lana would be beside herself if she lost Spirit. hehe

Bel remains silent hoping the others forget about him and just talk amongst themselves. He never was much of a people person. Besides, the less they know the better everyone will be.

As you finish up your rest and begin to get yourself sorted for the descent, you hear the heavy clunk of the massive stone doors at the front entrance. Then, loud orc voices echo down the corridors. It would seem some more orcs have returned home...
