Bel skewers the grick with his magical rapier, thrust it deep into the gash that Aregarak opened up and twisting the blade. The grick thrashes, and then lays still. 

// I think it's GB's turn—GB, the grick that you splashed with oil earlier is attacking Aregarak. //

GB looks to the oil splashed monster and shouts to Aregarak;

"Back!"  as he cast Fire Bolt onthe creature.

Atk13 on success 2 fire dmg.

The grick lets out a shrill scree as it is lit aflame by GB's fire bolt! 

It lashes out at Lana—

Tentacle Attack: 23 Damage: 12 bludgeoning

Bite Attack (if the first attack hit): 15 Damage: 9 piercing

 —and the elf woman is caught firmly in its grasp! It stabs at her with its sharp beak even as the fires singe its flesh.

Jane can now hear the ruckus just on the other side of the artificial wall. (It will take 60 feet of movement to get through to the other side)

Aregarak moves to the one holding Lana and attempts to free her....with his greatsword!

[Greatsword +1: 11 Damage: 12]

Aregarak's swing goes wide as the flaming grick thrashes wildly about. 

Bel follows behind with a strike on the tentacle holding Lana

Attack: 13 Damage: 8

This time, Bel's rapier is thrust into the back of the creature's head. It spasms and then goes limb as it slowly burns.

Still, Lana feels as if the danger has not passed...

Quite suddenly, Spirit leaps back and runs to hide behind the nearest sarcophagus! 

// Lana, GB, and Jane are up! //

Lana looks at Spirit and senses more danger "I think another one of those Water creatures are coming, everyone be ready. GB perhaps another flask of oil if you have one"

Jane wriggles her raccoon booty through the small hole and with a Dash she moves 30 ft closer to the group and transforms back. 

Jane stepped in something wet on the way over...

"It's probably that same water creature we encountered earlier that got away.....looks for puddles.....and stab them!"

Lana looks over at Jane "Glad you can join us you wouldn't have any ice spells would you" she asks the druid.

GB responds to Lana statement.  

"GB thinks ice is fine but GB had better luck with fire when we last met."

GB then pulls another bottle of oil out and prepared for what happens next.

Jane minds the squishy sound of her shoes and remarks at the Minotaur's desire to stab at the puddles. She shrugs her shoulders and gives and approving non-judgemental nod. 

She walks over to Lana and shakes her head no. Her attention is soon captured by the Rangers remaining wounds and she reaches into one of her many pockets and pulls out a tin containing a strange substance. She rubs the [Tooltip Not Found] onto her wounds and she heals 1 and gains 1 temp hp.  

Afterwards Jane will drop to the stone foor and dip a few fingers in the blood of the Grick and begin drawing a detailed map of the tunnels she just explored alone. She points out the locations of the enemies and points out the location of the grand threat and also treasure. 

The danger that Lana sensed slowly abates—apparently, whatever being was preparing to strike has retreated. No visible clues can be ascertained, but Spirit remains highly alerted to danger as Jane describes the tunnels she explored.
