The Forge of Fury

Bel's rapier strikes the beast, but he can't get close enough yet to land a critical blow.

The giant white lizard uses its tail as a club, in an effort to knock Aregarak off its back...

Bel will disengage back to re-evaluate the situation and look for anything that might help.

 GB sees Aregarak tossed from the beast and change its focus to him.  GB lets out a little *squawk* before landing in the in the giant jaws of the beat.  

Aregarak lands prone on the ground.

Players are up!

GB, you are grappled, but can try and escape the grapple as an action if you wish (escape DC 15). You are of course free to act in other ways, and are currently only limited by your grappled condition. 

Aregarak stands up after being unceremoniously dumped on the ground and swings his sword again

Lana sees the Lizard going after and she fires another shot as fast as she can.

Spirit leaps at the creature and bites at its throat.

Feeling Stuck in the beast jaws and feeling weak, GB musters his focus, clasps the jaws around him and casts Shocking Grasp.

Attack: 7 Damage: 1

GB feels too weak to offer much support to the team.

Bel will make another stab at the beast

The great lizard takes the punishment from Aregarak, Lana, and Spirit, even as he attempts to swallow GB...

Swallow Attack: 18 Damage: 13 piercing

On a successful hit, GB is swallowed (a swallowed target is blindedand restrained, has total cover from outside attacks, and takes 3d6 acid damage at the beginning of each of the lizard's turns). GB is also no longer grappled.

The lizard lashes out again, using his tail to sweep  Bel!

Attack: 8 Damage: 14 bludgeoning

On a successful hit, Bel must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Aregarak is even more angry that the giant lizard he didn't want to fight has now eaten one of his teammates and attacks with renewed vigor

Bel runs in stabbing at the gut of the beast.

//GB is swallowed and unconscious in the belly of the beast. Ouch//

Aregarak and Bel's simultaneous attacks draw blood from the beast, but it seems to withstand what might have been a killing blow from Aregarak's lightning powers.

Lana aims her bow and fires again seeing one of her companions swallowed only hoping to kill the beast prior to the companion falling for good.

Bow Attack 12 If hit 7

Spirit jumps again at the creature biting at it.

Bite Attack 11 If hit 8

(GB takes 4 acid damage, causing him to accrue one failed death save)

The creature thrashes around, causing Lana's shot to go wide! Spirit likewise can't land a hit, and instead hisses and roars at the massive reptile! Meanwhile, the lizard is attempting to knock down Bel and close its massive jaws around Aregarak before leaping out of the pit!

Bite Attack (against Aregarak): 15 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. piercing

Tail Attack (against Bel): 9 Damage: 12 bludgeoning

The lizard then leaps out of the pit (provoking an opportunity attack from Spirit & Bel) and closes with Lana. Its head towers over her, drool and blood dripping from its jaws, where Aregarak is currently held. 

The giant lizard has some trouble clambering up the sides of the pit, and is obviously very wounded.
