"Do not despair, Rendell.  I possess 10 days of rations and do not need to eat or drink."  The warforged opens his extra-dimensional compartment once more and pulls out a neatly wrapped bundle of rations, offering them to his two new companions.

There are absolutely a few "shops", more like simple stands and little, shady hole in the wall rooms. Sorry for my absence. If everyone still wants to keep playing, I'm all for it!

“That blasted barkeep. He said it’d be about 10k but we’ve been walking for several hours now and still nothing” rendell moans, more to himself then to his companions.  To the others he says; “we may have to camp in the wild guys. Nice open sky, campfire, things like that.”

Kallaia walks behind Rendell, gently grabbing him by the shoulders and steering him in the direction the map indicates. Cursing the fate that had her coin land on being good today, she laments the opportunity to take care of someone still so inebriated from the evening before.

"Tell me Mee, you don't quite eat, at least not like we organic beings do. Do you sleep? If we are forced to turn this trip into a wilderness weekend then it sure would do to have a sentry with no need to rest."

(So can Mee have bought a 10g Crystal as an Arcane Focus in town for future leveling?)

"I require the shutdown of non-essential functions for approximately 6 hours during each 24 hour cycle of your sun, but continue to watch and listen to my surroundings.  I believe I can fulfill your implied request for a sentry."

Mee, Roll a Charisma check to see if any of the thoroughly questionable folk who make up most of the town's citizenry to sell you such a rare item.

You can only find someone willing to sell you one for 15 gold, a halfling with one tooth and an eyepatch that you are sure switched it to the other eye at least once while he was haggling with you.

(haha, nice.   OK Mee does not acquire an arcane focus and will be one poor wizard next level if he can't find that and a spellbook! haha)

Anyhow, shall we continue on with our trip...?

"Mee is your internal thingy also capable of telling how many hours this day still has? I wouldn't want to be surprised by dawn and than not be able to find anything anymore."

(I don't think Mee has any special abilities in this area, nor the Keen Mind feat, but perhaps taking an educated guess would be an INT based check, or Nature even, DM?)

"The angle of the sun against the horizon would suggest 10 hours of daylight left, Rendell, but as I do not have access to proper charts for this particular location at this current date on your calendar, I calculate this estimation to have a variance of plus or minus 2 hours."

"Shall we proceed?"

"Indeed we should." The tiefling replies as they continue walking. "No matter how many hours we have left we should just keep walking until we lose the light. Otherwise we are simply extending our stay away from civilization."

"Aye.... let's, althought darkness has no secrets for me. But at a certain point I do need a rest and with the efforts I have done yesterday I'm assuming my rest needs to come a bit earlier than normal"
