The door has a simple bar latch and opens easily and noiselessly. Inside, you see stalls suitable for the oxen you have seen the cultists utilizing, as well as space to park a number of wagons. Towards the back is what appears to be a small forge and workshop, and stairs up to the loft. You see no light or movement.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((Even though I think the moment has passed I'll still roll my save cause I'm curious to see how evil the dice are going to be. I can't help myself.))
Kina's DEX save: 20
((Sonofa***** if it weren't for advantage I would have rolled a 2, for crying out loud.))
WIS save: 19
((Oh, back to this, are we))
Because Kina has angered the dice gods by being tardy to the game apparently, she seems distracted as she tries to keep pace with the rest of the group, holding her hands over her ears. With no better idea to try and quiet her mind, she reaches out for Bart and pulls his head up tight against her chest. "It's trying to take me..." she mutters, holding onto the feathered bard to try and quiet her mind or distract herself from the voices gnawing at her sanity.
"Lots of people been here, and are in that main building." Cade mutters as he looks around the barn. He turns to the others. "What, exactly, are we expected to do here? Confront these people, and end what they are doing, or gather intel and bring that back to town?" He looks a bit concerned. "There are a lot of people here, so we will have to be careful either way. I suggest a couple of us move to that old tower and see if there is any sort of hidden entrance there."
"I like that plan. Cade you should take Will and Rachel. You can use your mind speak to let Kina, Bart, and I know what you find. I think you're right. We won't succeed with a frontal assault so Intel and rescue any innocents should be the mission. Maybe we can find a way to hamper the spread of the blight." Suggest Barnabus.
“Well, we have the stone so I say gather intel, pass it along, and see if they want to do anything with it. After that I guess we’ll play it by ear? Could do some cloak and dagger stuff to make them nervous.... like take care of stragglers or those who wander off. I bet they think that in this place they are damn near untouchable....”
Bart hugs Kina tightly and sings softly into her ears to try and drown out whatever she is hearing. "Dear beautiful/ Don't be scared/This song is joyful/ It's meant to be heard"

"I have to be able to see you to speak mind-to-mind with you." Cade says with a glance around at the group. he notices that Kina seems to be having some difficulty, but hopes she can find her way out of it, as he doesn't have much he can do for her. "I could simply change into a squirrel and run over to the tower to scout it." He offers. "As long as there are no difficulties, I should be fine. If I run into something I can always change into a brown bear and my growls should alert you."
"That sounds like a good plan. We should find a vantage point thats as secure as possible until a definitive course of action reveals itself." Agrees Barnabus.
As you approach the tower, you notice something odd....there are no earthen ramparts within 50' of the tower and the remains of what must be the original stonework is still visible. Outside the door to the tower is what appears to be some sort of warning sign.
As you get closer, it also appears that the door is well blockaded from the outside, as if to prevent something from coming out.

Cade does an entire circle around the tower, then returns to the barn.
"The tower looks to be blocked from the outside, as if they are trying to keep something inside of it." Cade, still in squirrel form, says mentally to the others. "Still, bmight be better to go in through there, than to try for the main building."
Barnabus scratches his chin and says, "Hmmm.... Sounds good. If it's locked, and we can get in unseen it might afford us a place to watch from undisturbed. Lets go. Should we go one at a time or all together?"

Barney: You find tools commonly used for the maintenance and repair of wagons. The forge looks like it was last used three or four days ago.
