Scal's fire bolt flies wide of its target but at the same time Viridi, while partially focused on healing her companion, releases a sling attack toward the target that had eluded her so many times before. This time her attack strikes true, hitting the dragon directly in the temple and causing its eyes to roll back before falling to the ground with an impressive thud. The dragon's body lies there only for a moment before once again vanishing.
