"Very well, perhaps we simply be on our way then? I have left your rope on that branch there." Aramae points to the branch for Ging.
"I would recommend finding other means for food. And as a show of good faith that we mean you no harm, in addition to all we have already done, I will inform you that there is a troop of soldiers down the road behind us. Perhaps you can ask for their aid against the orcs. At the very least, do not put yourself into a confrontation with them. You would assuredly be killed. Perhaps one among us has a spot of food we can spare you?"
Aramae checks his belongings and looks towards the group.

Fenro walks up behind Edgar as he speaks to Ging, rising to his 7'3" of height, attempting to loom large over the creature. If Ging was scared of Orcs, then Fenro hoped that his size would also be intimidating. "You will tell us about this village. And the Orc attacks. Were they merely passing by, or was this village the target of the strike?" After a short pause he added, "And if we like the answer, we will give you the promised food." Intimidation: 4
Ging just sticks out his tongue at you. You get the impression that it's not the size of the orcs that he's intimated by, having been smaller than everything he meets, but rather their ability to do him harm.

"Edgar, I do not think this goblin is susceptible to bullying."
Aramae approaches Ging.
"I do apologize for my friend's behavior. We do legitimately wish to help, if your village truly is beset by orcs. But we cannot aid you unless you direct us to where they seem to be coming from. Perhaps you guide us, then we give you what food we can before we set off against these orcs."
By this point Ging seems like he doesn't really trust anything you all are saying after the offer of help, then two threats, and then more help. "No point in go there. Orcs gone, people dead. Ging stay, you leave."

"Flag it,"Fenro says in frustration and turns back toward the road."We have places to go. If you can get something useful out of him then good. Otherwise, we simply waste time here."
As if nothing had happened, Edgar goes back to his goofy self “okidoki! Best of luck to you ging.” He sets him off on the side of the wagon and hand him his promised rations. “You know, when the army comes by you can always explain the situation to them and hope to join them as a servant. That way you might stay alive.” He say with a smile to Ging.
Those of you who look back as you drive away can see Ging slowly beginning to reset the rope trap before heading to the other side to check on the position of his former companion.
As you ride on the sun begins to wane and darkness slowly creeps across the sky. Ahead of you you can see the faint lights of the town that Aramae knows as Sundaraic.

"Okay, on our list of tasks, there are these goods we must deliver as part of the arrangement for getting this horse and cart for free. Then there is the matter of getting this scroll case to some mysterious wizard."
“Yes, let’s deliver the goods. We can ask after the wizard as we do so. Maybe get a better feel for this place while we are simple carters.” Fenro made sure he things were stowed securely. “It would probably be best that we attract as little attention as possible as we enter.”
Ging looks between the Tabaxi. "You no look like big orc fighters. Ging stick with good plan Ging had."

”You didn’t answer my question though.” Edgar say menacingly “when and where were you attacked by orcs? And what did you do to provoke them?”

"I have to agree with you, Fenro. There is nothing more for us to do here. Edgar, let the poor soul go, if you would?"

Ging just shrugs and goes over to his rope, looking at what you've done to it.

Aramae had left the rope rolled up neatly and hanging on a branch, in the same condition it was when it was found.
Aramae helps ready the cart as everyone clambers back in, ready to resume traveling.
