Fenro and Aramae walk towards the tower on the west side of the city. Once you're close enough you realize that the building itself is not a tower, but rather a squat, square one story brick space with a spire. The spire seems to be designed to make it the tallest building in the city.
Out front of the building you see a tall, bald human in grey robes. Around his arm he has the simple blue band. He's smiling and greeting people as they pass by.

Oryxis is happy enough to join Lyrika and Edgar, though he's careful to only drink water or milk. Lyrika seemed like a fun person to be around, but Oryxis was still wondering whether she had what it took when the chips were down. Edgar meanwhile struck him like an interesting chap, with hidden depths. While he personally liked a direct approach, he could appreciate the more subtle ways of his new friend, and after all so far he had been the only one of them with a tangible contact that might be able to provide them with more information. Though, that contact was likely shady, which meant that some of that value was lost...

"So, Edgar. Where did you meet that contact of yours? What did he promise to give you later today? And what do you think we should prepare for?"

"I think we stick together inside. If something does happen, then we have each other's back."
Fenro takes a deep breath and then walks up to the man outside the temple. "Good day. My name is Fenro. I have travelled a great distance seeking knowledge and was hoping there was someone here that may help me understand a mysterious problem facing my people. Any help would be greatly appreciated."As he speaks he watches the man to see if his name sparks a change or if there is any form of recognition. (Passive Insight is 16)
“Well I don’t really know him at all and I have no idea what he can tell us. Last night I followed this dwarf who had reacted to a few key words I tossed out in the bar. He turned out to be a source to ‘the black hand’.” He looks at his friend in turn “After talking for a while he told me to meet a guy at the third bridge and that he might know something of what we’re after. I got the feeling that the black hand didn’t have anything to do with this and that they want this solved as much as the Æthling does.”
“There is a sickness in the land I am from. Our wisemen have not had any like trying to make any sense of it,l. Do you have anyone here who deals with plants, or medicine, or even curses? At this stage, any help would be appreciated.”
The man scratches the back of his bald head. "We don't have anyone specifically for anything like that here at this church, we're a little to new to have a cleric stationed here. One of our constituents might know something though, I can't speak to their individual skills. You're welcome to come inside and ask around."

Oryxis gives a nod at Edgar's elaborations. "Good, they might be doing their investigating for other means, but there's nothing speaking against a temporary alliance, as long as our goal of solving this is a shared one... Do you think you know what to say to convince them to work with us? Or should I join as back up, and helping you convince them that it's in their interest to work with us?"

“Weeeell, it depends on what that other guy tells them.. our last encounter could have gone better. I kind of botched it.. I think he only helped me because they might have something to gain from it as well. You are more the welcome to join me.”
“Let’s see what’s inside”Fenro replies to Aramae’s message, then speaking to the man at the door, “Thank you. Is there anything we should know before we go in? We don’t want to accidentally offend anybody.”
The man shakes his head. "We only ask that you do not interrupt someone during their prayers. If you wish to speak to them, just wait until they're done."
Aramae, inside you see a very simple space, especially compared to the intricacies of other temples. There are rows of wooden benches, some occupied, some not, all arranged in a circle around a central pillar of sunlight that seems to be coming down from the spire. Near the entrance there is a table full of the robes that the man was wearing, and you see that some of the practitioners are wear them as well. Beside the robes there is also a pile of the blue armbands.

"I have means to get out if needed. Do you remember when we first met? As long as I can get out of sight for a moment, I will be fine."
"Very well. I suppose we are as ready as can be. Let's head in."
Aramae resumes walking towards the tower with Fenro.
"Good luck!" Edgar call after Ara and Ferno.
To the other two he say "How about we take an other glass before we head to the record hall?"
"Seems like a plan to me!" Lyrika agrees.

"Well, the guard seems friendly enough. Whenever you are ready I will follow you in."
Aramae silently sends a prayer to Tisus to watch over him and to forgive him for potentially stepping into another deity's temple.

There's no recognition on the man's face. His face does light up though as you speak. "But of course! What is it we can help you with my friend?"

Aramae takes just a few steps ahead of Fenro to take a casual peek inside after being allowed entry.
Perception: 8
Aramae is very clearly taken aback by the splendor inside...or something.
(Sorry, somehow missed Fenro's post)
