Popping him back on to his shoulder and cuddling up to his owl, Usul says to the others, "Something is blocking us from entering the other side of this door..."
As you cast the spell through the scroll, a faint glow covers your eyes. Looking around the room, the braziers glow with the red aura of evocation. Moving to the door, you can see it has a faint light blue aura, abjuration. Looking through it, you can faintly see a spherical radius of red, indicating another evocation effect.

The elven woman lets out a low whistle before saying to Usul, "well this place is enchanted like nobody's business. I can tell you that much. A spell of some kind is affecting the area beyond that door, it must be keeping your familiar out."
"Silthras...Let me see that parchment we found with the diagrams and Celestial on it." Once in her hands, she'll carefully look over the diagrams, seeing if any of the drawings match the door or anything else in this room.
would Velyra know any spells that could do that to familiars?
Kal quietly watches the entrance they came from as the others investigate the room, redrawing his now unlit sword to have it ready. "I can't say this is what I had in mind when Sybil reached out..."
Looking over the document, you easily locate a drawing identical to the door and pedestal and pedestal before you. Underneath, in the curly lines that mark the Celestial script, is the phrase 'Where the first Star fell.'
Silthras looks at the door, and the ground in front of it. "Do you think it's opened recently?" he asks Velyra, Ready to offer help should she choose to inspect more thoroughly...to see if it is scuffed, or scraped, or does it look like it might have opened in recent times?

At Silthras' prompting, she takes a closer look at the ground in front of the door, looking for any evidence that it's been opened recently. Regardless of the result, she looks to the others. "Might as well see if we can open it..."
Stepping before the door with the parchment in hand, she'll speak the phrase 'Where the first Star fell' in Celestial.
Looking at the ground, and the door itself, there doesn't really seem to be anything that would hint whether or not it's been opened recently.
As you speak the phrase, your voice echoes, almost reverberating with a kind of power throughout the room. The marble globe upon the pedal glows with a radiant light, and the carvings along the arch begin to light up sequentially. As the archway becomes fully lit, there is a sound of grinding stone as the doors swing inward to reveal a short hallway. Through to the other side, you enter into a 35x45 foot room. Sitting dead center of the room is a large marble table with a glass top covering it...A construction that the elvish cleric would find most familiar. Carved into the marble underneath the glass is a map of the entire continent, with a point of light shining brightly directly over your position in the Shining Peaks. Sticking out from the walls in this room, forming rows, are long dark wooden cabinet shelves. Decorative silver stripes are painted over the shelves, and each door is firmly locked shut.
The far left corner of the room is covered in rubble, partially collapsed.
There are two other exits from this room, one directly opposite from where you can in, and another on the left wall. They are open ways with no doors, leading into stone hallways.
"Let's hope we get more answers than questions this time around."
As the doors to the room open, Kal triggers his Divine Sense while moving through the archway, crossing the room to peak down either of the hallways afterwards.
Velyra moves into the room, eagerly walking over to the map table. She traces her finger across the glass, a look of wonder on her face. "This is what brought me here."
She looks back at the others, nodding towards the marble construction. "We found something similar at one of the temples at the Astrium. That light came on and we sent a team to check it out...I don't have to guess too hard what happened to them."
"I suspected there would be another ruin from the days of the Court, but to actually be here..."
Her eyebrows draw down into a V-shape as a thought crosses her mind. "Is this place a prison of some kind? And that thing we encountered an escapee?"
Looking towards the locked cabinets, she asks Usul, "can you try unlocking some of those?"
Kal triggers his Divine Sense once more, expanding his sense beyond the norm. Whereas before he was left with the noxious scent of desecration in the town and manor, here he is met with the sweet scent of divinity. Warmth spreads throughout his body, and sense of ease. At the minimum, this room is consecrated ground.
Looking through the open doorway on the left, you see a short hallway that leads into another length room. From this angle, you can make a feature stone statues depicting knights. Quickly walking over to the other, it is a bit longer, and corners to the right eventually.
As Velyra steps into the room, the entire area would immediately be flooded in the red aura of evocation. The table itself glows golden, in a type of magic that is unrecognizable. The locks on the shelves glow with abjuration magic.
Velyra turns back to Silthras, nodding. "This exact thing. We found it underneath a temple to Sandail a long time ago. We thought it was just a work of art...Until that point of light lit up a few months ago."

"Well that's odd. Shall we get a look at why?"
Velyra takes out the Scroll of Detect Magic found earlier, looking around the room briefly before peering at the door."

Silthras looks at Velyra, eyebrows raised, "I'm impressed."
Usul tiptoes towards the door and just leans his small body in past the frame, saying, "Is this normal for a mine?"

He looks around the room and frowns, "The water as well? What about the crystals? The blue light?"

are those other things familiar DM?
Those are things you're seeing for the first time. But the map table is essentially a carbon copy of the one found back at the Astrium site.
"Did the last place also have the ... strange ... undead?"
