"All evidence suggests that it is the farmer himself. We can't be sure until we confirm, though." She thinks for a while before speaking again. "The question is whether we can still call him the farmer or is it too late for him."
"I hope that we can still rescue him, although unless any of us know of a cure for Lycanthropy we may not have a choice other than to kill him when we finally catch him." Sulskan says this with a twinge of disappointment as he doesn't have an answer, but he is hoping that perhaps someone else in this group may know of a cure.

Vadania stays quiet while the group discusses what to do with the farmer who is possibly Lycanthropic. She has... conflicting feelings regarding the matter, to say the least.
The path into the woods somehow grows more treacherous, but the party pushes on. With every step, the forest seems more wild, struggling against the invaders who dared enter it. Even though they're a few hours out of Trishdale, there's a real possibility the party are the first people to have stepped foot in this area of the woods.
Eventually, the party arrives in a shadowy glade, tucked away in the darkness. The air is still, and the faint beams of sunlight illuminates stagnant motes of dust.
A small cabin with no windows stands in the glade, chains and a padlock evident on the door. Next to it is a small hut, which appears to have been newly built. Most interesting, however, is a large tile of ancient stone placed in the middle of the glade. Partially covered by moss and rot, a circle of blood-red arcane symbols is engraved on top. They seem dull and inactive.
The incredible remoteness of this location makes it obvious that no person would be able to simply stumble upon this place. What does the party do?
Whispers. "I know we're probably eager to explore, but we shouldn't just run in there, especially after almost getting snapped by that trap back when we came in. We should sit tight, right here, and watch. Whoever's home will make themselves known pretty quick, and if they're not home, they'll probably show up soon. Watch and wait, make sure we know what were walking into before we go in there."
"It doesn't look to me like this house is being used by anyone. At least not the one with all the chains around it. More importantly, I prefer to find the one we're looking for before he finds us. If it layed a trap expecting followers, it may as well be keeping watch for ones."
"OK... Does anyone have something that can trigger traps?"

Sulskan pats himself down, "I don't think I have anything on me, although Limine has a point, we should clear this area quickly and move on. If this thing gets wind that we are following it- Well I just think we'd all prefer that it didn't." He turns to Vadania and asks, "Hey Ruth, does the trail keep going from here? Or does it stop? You were better at following it than me." Although he asks Vadania, he looks to see if the trail stops as well.
Because you got a natural 20 on your survival check, you can see that not only does the trail lead inside the chained house, there is another set of tracks all over the glade. It's a smaller shoeprint, and whoever left it didn't seem to care about concealing them).

"This is... strange." Says Vadania, "The trail leads into the chained house and there is a different set of boot prints here. If the house is chained... perhaps someone beat us to creature that attacked Rutherford's Farmstead and is keeping it locked inside the house but for what purpose?" She takes a step closer to the house to see if the chains and the padlock are new or if they have been put there recently.
Sulskan follows Vadania with trepidation and keeps a lookout towards the treeline if anything should approach them as Vadania investigates the house. "Let's try not to stay out in the open for too long. The sooner we can get back to cover, the safer we'll be from a surprise attack."
Vadania approaches the cabin with the chained door, followed closely behind by Sulskan. As he watches the treeline, there doesn't seem to be anyone here other than the party.
The door is not only locked, but is made of a sturdy wood and reinforced with steel plates. The chains themselves don't seem to old, but given the hints of rust it seems it's been there for a while. However, strangely there is yellowish dust scattered on the door, glowing in the sunlight. The dust forms a few arcane symbols.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Limine approaches the circle of arcane symbols and looks at it. As she's not an expert with this type of magic, she takes out her grimoire and cites the lines written in it, asking Guidance of her patron. It's not a spell powerful enough to shift his attention, but even sharing a bit of his knowledge might help. She then tries to study the runes to figure out their purpose.
Limine approaches the old, stone tile in the middle of the glade. It's quite large, about 3 yards in length and width. But most striking is the age of the stone, ancient beyond anything, covered in moss yet flawlessly carved without a single scratch on the surface. Perhaps she's seen something like this before?
(DC 12 History Check)
Calling upon the guidance of her patron, the she attempts study the blood runes engraved on the tile. However, the cryptic symbols are incredibly intricate and foreign, unlike any contemporary arcane symbols. Still, she is able to decipher one of the runes, which could mean either gate, wall, or to an extent, window.
Suddenly, an excited whispering begins in Limine's mind. Though she didn't anticipate it, Limine's patron is obviously intrigued by the runes, beseeching her to do anything to learn more about them.

"There is some strange magic afoot here." Vadania says, pointing out the yellow dust. "I am unfamiliar with magic and its inner working. All I can say is that the chain on the door is not recent. Perhaps some of you who are more familiar would be able to shed some light on the matter? As for our target, it is possible whoever the second set of footprints in the glade belong to have trapped them inside the hut."
Suddenly, Limine starts to feel like this whole idea was a very bad one. If her patron is actively interested in this... gate, wall or window, something bad is going to happen. However, as per their pact, Limine is compelled to try to learn more about the runes. The first idea that comes to her mind is... asking the one who wrote them. Almost uncontrollably, she feels her lungs suck in the air and then release it in a magically enhanced way to make her speech three times as loud. "If anyone here knows what these runes mean, show yourself and do not hold your secrets from me!" She shouts, aware that if they were hoping to surprise anyone, that will no longer be possible.
Sulskan's eyes bulge as Limine instantly reveals their presence and completely ruining the element of surprise. He steps over to Limine and holds his axe out in front of him pointed at her as his spirits leave his mind and begins flitting around his head. Invisible to other creatures, only Sulskan can sense the presence of the spirits, infused with his anger they have exited his mind and are preparing to assist his attack. In a low and menacing growl he says, "Are you a fool?! What was that for?"
