The door opens. Behind the wooden door is a short, male high elf wearing a drab grey suit with unkempt brown hair. He stares at all of you, seeming confused.
"Who are you all?" He croaks, eying Ivory.

"Hello Sir, my friends and I were looking for some potential quest or job opportunities, and we were told that the Keepers would on occasion have such tasks? Is this correct or were we told wrong?" Ebony speaks up politely. Ivory chirps in greeting at the elf.

"Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup."
“Hi, sir, umm..I’m Akanos Novak from the Plane of Fire. I’ve read all about the Keepers in hopes of one day joining you. So..here I am.” Kane says nervously.
Evas points to himself then to Arvanthoth's Shield. "Well I'm Evas, and that's my car, Arvanthoth's Shield." Evas clears his throat(wires? tubes?). "As my scaly friend said, we are looking for a possible jobs, and were directed here by Kane."
You all enter the tower through the door, and the first thing that you notice is that the room is fairly dim, dimmer than it had been outside (which was already fairly late in the day. You see that on the opposite side of the 50-foot-radius room there is a set of double-doors identical to the ones you just came through, as well as on the left and right sides of the room, which are both directly across from you. The room is about 16 feet tall, and there is a winding staircase that stretches overhead. Above each door is an elven symbol made out of a light-colored metal. For those that know Elven:
Each denotes one of the four cardinal directions. The one you just entered has the elven symbol for West.
The next thing that strikes you as odd are the lanterns that hang from the ceiling. The lanterns seem to be producing flames, but there doesn't seem to be a way to reach the lanterns in order to light them or give them fuel.
The wooden spiral staircase clings to the inner wall of the tower, beginning between the West door and North door, spiraling upwards towards the South door (counterclockwise). The staircase is decently steep, making it just under two-thirds of the way around the tower before the next level of the tower begins.
In the middle of the room is a huge map, with a large table jutting out of the ground to support it. The table is over 20 feet in radius and its huge topographic map covers the whole table. The map seems to depict the Sword Coast, and is covered by a large glass dome (the dome is much shorter in height than it is in radius). The map-table is surrounded in over a dozen wooden chairs.
Finally, this level strangely doesn't contain any books, which is one of the hallmarks of the Keepers.
The elven gentlemen moves towards the map, waiting until you're all in the room to speak.
He clears his throat once more, this time being a bit less gruff than before, "Welcome, gentlings. What is your purpose?"

Kane sits down in one of the chairs. “Well, like I said earlier, I’m from the Plane of Fire and iv read all about the Keepers. And I am a pursuer of knowledge, from dragon hoards to Halfing stories. I have read that the Keepers hire agents to acquire said knowledge. So here I am.” He pauses. “Also....I need the money.”
"Information" Ash says in a quiet voice. "On exorcism"
Ash was very quiet on the trip here, this is actually the first time he has spoken since the shop. After stating his purpose, he says nothing else, merely studies the rest of the room as they lay bare their reasons for coming.
"I, also am at the moment unemployed and in dire need of money. I also would like information on a certain, Ecubi. I would be more then willing to pursue knowledge for you, in return for knowledge, and possibly some added monetary benefits." Evas holds out his right hand, webs of magical ink crisscrossed around it, converging in the middle and forming a word in the middle of his hand that means, Help. "Would you like a display of some of my magical talents?"

He nods slowly, not seeming surprised in the least, "Joining the Keepers is no easy feat, Akanos the Fireling. It takes years of studying and proving oneself. We could use some field agents, but you still must undergo the Beginning."

"Exorcism," He repeats, tugging on his goatee, "We do have many books on that subject. The price for information is information, as you assuredly know. What information may you provide us with that we do not know? You needn't answer now."
(Okay.)
Evas grabs the door-knocker and firmly pounds on the door with it, making an echoing "thud, thud, thud" resound both inside and outside the tower.
At first, there's no response. But after a few seconds of waiting, you hear the sound of someone scurrying down stairs inside.

He clears his throat and coughs, turning his head a bit away from you. As he does so, you see a small tattoo on his neck, shaped like a quill.
Then, he nods slowly and gestures for you to come in.

Grumm will enter last. He is suspicious of the door, but, upon seeing the rest of his companions enter, follows despite his withheld misgivings.
(I guess Ash will enter one place ahead of Grumm then)
