My understanding is the silver smith is one of the people we saved during the original debacle, so I would prefer we go there....at least to check if it's feasible or if he can provide us with the Silver....
Alright so Bryn and Vedui (and Jormund?) will head into the silversmith's shop, where you see Agrenti busy at work embedding a series of rubies on a silver tiara. He looks up from his workbench, squints for a moment at you, then remembers the jeweler's glasses on his face and flips them up. He'll break into a warm smile when he recognizes you. "Ah! if it isn't the savior's of Amphail! Welcome friends! Welcome! How may I help you today?"
Ann and Rowan, as you head into the hall you will see that since the morning, your mother must've decided to redo the entire decoration scheme because there are now servants busily undoing the banners hung while you left, while others are hastily bringing in new rugs, tapestries, and other decorations into the great hall. As you come, in, your mother is busy tasting various dishes laid out on a table at the end of the hall. You hear her say to the chef "You call this duck stew? I call it pond water! We are cooking for my son the ambassador and his esteemed guest, try to act like it! Honestly you country yokels have no sense of taste!" Would you like to talk to your mother or head to your room?

"Good day, Agrenti, we were wondering if you might be able to help us...." Bryn explains what they observed regarding the rat transformations and Harry's reaction to touching the silver coin. "We were hoping to have some weapons inlaid with some shallow silver veins that might cause a similar reaction in our foes as the coin did to poor Harry. Nothing fancy, just functional as I'm afraid time is not on side. I can't speak for Vedui or Jormund but I'd like a quiver full (20) of silvered arrows and at least one of my daggers inlaid as well. Time and money permitting maybe both daggers."
(The way that post is written almost makes it sound like Ann and Rowan are sisters, which they're not, but I find it funny.)
Ann's most likely to go speak with Rowan's mother herself if Rowan doesn't take the lead, and that's clear by her eyes being extremely focused on Melina, along with the knight's ever serious expression.
Rowan is about to try and duck out and avoid her mother's bad mood when she notices Ann already making her way towards the woman. With a small sigh she hurries to catch up, straightening out her dress and hair to make herself look as presentable as possible. She isn't looking forward to the conversation, but figures it'll be helpful for Ann to have somebody to back up her story.
The knight still looks battered. Ann's fine and quite able to walk easily, but there's a clear sign on her clothes that she's been in a scuffle. Yet, that'd be quite useful to prove their point as she approaches Melina with no apparent fear. "Ma'am, we've returned." She doesn't say anything else and instead awaits Rowan's mother's words first, keeping her hands behind her back, her shoulders straightened, and her head raised.

Argenti will frown as you mention the wererat and asks too see your weapons. After close examination of the weapons, he will say "I will do the best that I can for you my friends. When do you need them?"
Melina will turn at your address and say "Ah, you've made it at last, what took you so long!" Without waiting for a reply, she'll turn to you Rowan and give you an appraising look and say "Blue, of course it would be blue. Well there's nothing for it now. At least the gems are nice. I hope you did not get into to much trouble? The last thing I need is another problem to solve!"

“When can you have them done? While we do not need them urgently, I fear that time is not our friend right now. Does “as soon as your conscience allows” work?“
Ann had seen Rowan's hesitation, so, as a quick assumption, she tries to get in the way of a proper response so that she may clarify what happened in Rowan's place. "The delay was due to a problem, yes, ma'am, but it's nothing that should warrant your concern. What happened was out of our control. Amphail was infested by a mischief of vicious rats, lead by a cult that has it out for the people in town. I got attacked, and so did the people that helped me fight them off. I intend to join them as they pursue ridding the town of that which plagues it. Once I'm sure my job here is finished, of course."
Rowan visibly shrinks under her mother’s sharp gaze, clutching the dress close to her chest and staring at a point on the floor a few feet in front of her. “Ann did her job very well,” she chimes in quietly. “She kept me safe.”

Argenti will say "Very well, I will see what I can do. Putting silver on the blade is simple. The trick is to make it last. The longer time I have, the better job I can do!"
Ooc: Mechanically, argenti will be able to coat your weapons with silver in a night. However, there will be a chance that the silver breaks off with each use. That chance will be lower the longer he has to work.

Melina will take a closer look at you two for the first time, then come over and lift your chin up and stare into your eyes Rowan. "Did you stay out of trouble?"

“Thank you. Arrows are pretty much disposable so they don’t need the same care that the other weapons do to ensure the silver stays put.... now that I think about it, it might actually be good to have the silver split from the arrow inside the target, that way if they pull the arrow out, the silver remains. We have at least a day, but what is your recommendation for the preferred length of time for the other weapons that are not disposable?”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ann intercepts again. As far as the knight was concerned, this talk was between her and her hirer. Rowan would participate only if she wished to. "Ma'am, I can assure you nothing of the sort happened. Miss Rowan never left my sight during the fight, so I'm positively certain she stood back and let me handle it. I thought I already made that clear, so what sort of trouble could you possibly be referring to?" Acting dumb to Rowan's magic was Ann's way to make sure the topic was dropped. Now, if only she could convince Melina.
Deception: 4 (Suppose I have advantage for any reason (I'm thinking maybe help from Rowan), here's the second roll: 18)
So you have two options, to visit the smith, or the silversmith. And we'll see about the crafting time. Which do you prefer?
