Jecob has a dark expression, but speaks sympathetically to the old man. "Aboleths and their ilk are foul beings. It is good that the merfolk have someone responsible like you to watch over their prison."
He considers spitting to show his contempt for those beings, but realizes that gesture doesn't work very well underwater.

"Aren't you a little old for fairytales?" Mist asks with a smirk.
"I'm sure all o' that was very scary 'bout a million years ago (if it actually happened in the first place), but there's no way anything that was locked away down there is still alive after all this time. I say we go enjoy the festival, get a good night's sleep, and lube up with the Kraken Yack Jelly to go find our rock so we can get home and get paid?"
"Do not assume me to be a fool. Records were keep here for long years before. The dragons have lived long lives, as others who wonder the world above, so why not the world below, or the plaines far off with even more magic. Please take the day, I do need a few things and I can make you some good Kraken Slick, but I do need some Sundown Seaweed, shouldn't be too hard to find." Mago has an annoyed look on his face at Mist
"There is a farm on the out skirts of town, it is ran by Dat Ven let, him know I need some, and that I will take it off his tab. As for a place to stay I would say The Best Ghost Ship is the place to go." Mago informs you and then swims to a cubby that has a good amount of scrolls, he pulls a few out and looks at them, then hands one over to you all, it is a map. "Its old but it will due what you need it to. This is my place, here is the farm, and over here is The Best Ghost Ship." He marks the ma for you.

Kraven pulls his beak out from under a wing as the talking was starting to make him nap, he then ruggles his feathers and starts to swim around the room looking at this and that, curious about all the odds and ends in the place.
Kraven you find that Mago has an organization system, what it is you are not fully sure, but there is one, because some cubby holes are jammed packed with scrolls and others only have one or two in it. There are odds and end strange looking devices, so many things that Kraven would want to take. But while looking he swims past one of the few doors and hears a strange voice coming from inside, you can not understand what they are saying.
Kraven looks from all the stuff lying around to the room several times before he shrugs and moves toward the door and peaks inside to see what is making the noise.
Inside, a merfolk sleeps on a bed of algae. They seem to be tossing and turning. Air bubbles are being released from their skin. Make a Religion check for me.
"His name is Orilla - a glowstone miner. I found him like this yesterday, slumped over a full cart near the top of the trench." Mago swims up to the room.

Varlan leans in close, listening to the fevered mutterings of the merman. After a time he straightens and looks around, "I believe that he is calling on the aid of his god, Cipactli. I think that's how it's pronounced." He looks to the wizard for confirmation before continuing. "If memory serves, Cipactli is the demon lord of the Blood Ocean and sometimes appears as a feathered crocodile. It's been a long time since I read about it ... and quite by chance ... but it does make one feel a little concerned. Demons are not noted for their benevolence."
He turns to the wizard, "Does the name mean much to you? Is there perhaps a temple nearby?"

Varlan looks around at the wizard's remark. "Is there a place we might rest nearby, while we wait? An inn, perhaps?"
Kuatho nods at the mention of a rest. “We appreciate your efforts with the Kracken Slick. That is a new one, to us.”
