At the opposite side of the room is a pillar of white marble. On top of the pillar is the compass you are looking for. The golden compass is attached to a wooden base. In the center there looks to be a blue gem. Along the sides there are 6 compartments long the two sides, one of the compartments is already filled with a shard. It is lined with blue. The needle of the compass is currently pointing towards the wall. Who is going to pick it up?
Kraven squawks out an alarm at the same time Mist touches the devices and then hopefully quickly backs up out of the room as he touches it, shaking his head in annoyance.
"As Rou-zen said, violence is the master key of every door" Gintarou proudly looks at the door he broke. By the way Rou-zen was a battle philosopher of Gintarou's homeland. He also said if you failed to open a door with violence,it means you didn't use it enough. "Hey! Watch out!" The warrior calls out to Mist. "None of the previous party entered this room! It means there might be another trap."
As Mist touches the compass two things happen. First the temple shakes, you hear stones shift, there is a magical burst from the star map room, a small puff of green smoke comes from the door that was broken down. As the noises are ending the ghost of Magnus rushes Mist and tries to possess him. But Mist resists, “PLEASE! Allow me to hold it, touch it, I have tried to so many times and it just goes through my hands! PLEASE LET ME IN!” Magnus is pleading.
As the temple shakes Druquilla's head is on a swivel watching for any falling debris while she braces herself as if she was on a ship on bad waters. When she sees the ghost fail to possess Mist she draws her bow and an arrow from from her quiver and shouts, "You had your chance and you failed, so buzz off or I'll put an arrow through you."
Mist pulls down the compass and clutches it to his chest as he glares at the ghost.
"You've got a lot to learn in the afterlife if you think you're gonna wrest this majestic frame from the likes of me, boyo! You can touch the trinket, such as you're able, but there's no chance you're getting in here." Mist taps the side of his head.
"Now," he continues, "Would the rest of youse like to stand around debating the merits of fulfilling ghostly wishes or would you like to get out of here before this blasted place comes down on our heads?"
"Capital idea!" Zan chimes, heading for the door. "Yon ghostie seems to have more up his sleeve than simply helping us outta here alive. All hands to the top deck! Well, those what's made of living flesh, anyways."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven climbs out from under the desk after the initial shakes clam down and nods in Mists direction and makes his way for the door. Stopping only briefly at the smaller desk in the corner to check it for anything important.
"You should ask us first! You act like an evil spirit!" Gintarou points his weapon at the ghost. He nervously looks around the shaking temple. "…Well. Now Magnus-doni. Tell me what you want to do AFTER you touch that compass"
"How are you to help us sell it?! How's about you follow us out so our essences don't become inadvertently intertwined amongst the immanent rubble? We can talk more when we're sure we won't be dead in moments."
"Hrm. Well you're not getting a free ride in THIS legendary chassis. Why do you suppose you're the only ghost here after all the rest of your folk are dead as well? How'd you shake the place like you did just then? What in the world would you be wanting with compasses and treasures and whatnot being a ghost such as you are? Something's not adding up and I'm not intending to let go of this compass or my own control of my own darn self in general but ESPECIALLY without some clear and concise answers, then!"
Mist wraps his little arms around the compass and stares at the ghost expectantly.

Mist elbows his way between Gintarou's knees to see into the room.
"Bigman, how's about a boost, eh?" he asks while reaching up for the compass, not quite able to reach it.

"Nonsense," Mist says, looking back over his shoulder as he reaches up to the compass. "Why would they put a trap behind the final locked door?"
