Mist sneers at the dwarf. "If you're not to be helpful..."
After a moment he sighs in resignation. "Just want to be sure it isn't enchanted or some such before diving in to look around. I'm more comfortable in water than on land so I don't mind getting at bit wet. There must be some reason for a out-of-place pool to be in a private, primordial place of worship."
"I can check if you would like. It will take me a few minutes to perform the ritual" Aubric will again take out his spell book and perform Detect Magic as a ritual.
Zenix as you look into the pool of water you see what at first looks like a large rock, then as you look somemore you see that its not a rock, but the skull of a dragon, long dead, meat picked clean. Under it you can see pincher claws, and some eye staws.
"I'd imagine objects are larger than they appear through that watery lens, odd one. If that's all's to be had down there, we'd best just move on once the wiz has finished doublechecking for us."
At the top of the stairs you see a statue, it has two heads one on top of the other, with your roll you see that the eyes and mouth of the faces are holes. You inspect a little more and you see that this trap is a dart trap, you see that it has been fired and is currently unarmed, looking at the floor you see a stone that is depressed more than it should be, and the stones next to it have some scratch marks going down the sides.
Inside this simple room, the walls are painted with a multitude of stars, depicting the night sky as it appears across the Greenwold. There are two statues in this room just like the one at the top of the stairs.
You again find two more depressed stones, and a body laying on the ground across from the second statue is a dead body of a Halfling dressed all in black. With a few darts, one deep in his neck. You can tell that the body was moved to the side.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Dragon skull? Don't tell me that's an undead dragon" Gintarou peek into the room with the pool nervously. "Okay…I agree with you guys. I hate something that I can't fight with weapons. Let's move to the next floor. But remember don't rush in here without scouting. I don't want to find us face to face with the owner of the pool" Before he goes down the stairs, Gintarou checks the sword he takes from the dead warrior.
"Well, dragon skulls don't sink themselves to the bottom of wells in star temples," Zan muses. "And it was acquired, too, maybe even against the dragon's will. But, I suppose you're right, best focus on the task at hand. Let's step off."
Druquilla stares into the pool longingly but pulls herself away from it after hearing the concern from the others, as she walks away she takes one last look at the pool before joining the others up stairs.
"I think we can all see the possible reason the crazed fool's friend has not contacted him," Druquilla comments after seeing the body with the darts in it. "The good thing is though that if the compass is really here there is a very good chance that it has not been moved from here."
Druquilla then turns to Kraven and asks, "You can make sure we do not end up like that right? You seem to be pretty skilled with locks and traps."
Zenix's reactions and emotions didn't flinch, "I see.." He examined the bodies closely, "It seems they were killed by wither a trap, or an indian invasion. I can only assume it to be a trap. However, the body isn't aligned to the hallway at all, as if it moved...."
"Tis an odd way to take a drink. Would ye like me waterskin?"

"I do not sense anything immediately around here. I agree with Mist. Lets move along"
Kraven will move on to the stairs and check to see if there are any traps on them before venturing down.

[OOC: Also, Kraven will always normally be walking unless I specifically say I am flying for future reference.]
Thank you for the update on Kraven Flying.

Mist checks the body for any kind of identification... And goes through the pockets, obviously.
