"Hah!" Varlan stares at the piano a moment longer then turns to the others nodding, a faint smile on his lips, "I thought that sailor was an idiot, but I think he was on the right track."
He stares at the body, speaking slowly, "I believe someone needs to follow the music -- and not fail."
Varlan starts fidgeting with his ever-present miniature sextant, but is ready to cast guidance on anyone who attempts it.
After a few moments Varlan's smile broadens, "I might have something to help you keep time, at least."
He takes a set of thieves tools from his pack and starts to work on a pair of spoons from the table, tying them together and working his magic into them. When his is done, he holds them loosely and they start to emit a regular musical clank in time with the music.
He glances around the others, "Anyone have musical skills?"
Hoping this improvised metronome will grant anyone advantage on their attempt.
...You then touch a Tiny nonmagical object as an action and give it one of the following magical properties of your choice: ...
The object continuously emits your choice of an odor or a nonverbal sound (wind, waves, chirping, or the like). The chosen phenomenon is perceivable up to 10 feet away.

Kuatho sits down at the piano, listening to the metronome, feeling out the rhythm. He’s used to matching rhythms with music, but this is very different. He sits and uses his 4 arms to match the musical notes in time, relying on his speed and skill to help with this.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The organ shutters, stops playing and slides to the side opening a door way
You move into a simple tunnel (you are at a T intersection where you can go left or right) of bone and petrified flesh it is empty except for the sound of marching. The marching is coming from the right, along with new music from a farther distance.
Varlan resists the urge to applaud the masterful effort from the giant insect and instead smiles and nods in appreciation, "Are all of your people so talented? You put the piano maker to shame."
As the way opens he waits to see if anyone is inclined to scout; if not he takes the lead and, at the junction, faces left then right, "Which way? Is the sound designed to deter us or attract us, do you think? Journey Into Darkness or face the music?" he asks with a faint smile.
Kuatho stands up and takes a bow, gathering up his rope afterward and putting it away. “I learned of music in a different fashion than your kind has likely, but it is universal it seems. I’m glad I could keep the rhythm, the hum-rum. This passage, I can be fairly quiet and scout ahead if you wish. Perhaps I’ll look down that hall to the right, but maybe we should go left. Anyone else wish to look down that way? Do you have any .. magical .. means of doing so?”

Varlan shakes his head, "I am neither stealthy nor able to see distant things via magical means." Though one day, perhaps. "One who is stealthy should investigate a little in each direction. No heroics."
So saying he places his hand briefly upon Kuatho. A brief and faint tingling sensation if felt. It is as if his nerves and neurons are temporaily firing just a little faster and he has a sense of greater confidence in his decisions and abilities, at least for a short time.
Guidance on Kuatho. (( Can add roll AFTER seeing result; lasts one minute ))

Kuatho nods and starts to move down the passageway, stopping at the intersection. He will look both ways, going a short distance further until he can look to see what is making the sound, then return to report what he sees.

So Kuatho moves down the right hall a short distance the hall is about 10 feet wide, and mostly dark, the only light is the necrotic green glow coming off any wounds in the walls. After a short distance you see 6 skeletons marching, each with a low dim of the necrotic green, in formation, then quickly move back to the party.

With his noisy splint armor, Jecob does not scout ahead. But he does stand at the intersection, ready to defend if the scouts have to retreat for some reason.
While waiting for Kuatho to return, he will check the floor, ceiling, and the wall at the intersection, in case there are any hidden panels or traps. He cannot see far, or in the darkness, but he can sense vibrations and air currents in his vicinity (blindsense).

Kraven will move in the opposite direction of Kuatho and check out the passageway for any traps or anything else of interest. Will move down as far as he can or 100' whichever is farthest.
Kraven you don't notice much, but after about 25 feet of walking down the hall you get to some of the old stomach of the beast, you can smell the acid, and starting to see little pools of acid, the stomach is still functional in terms of digesti g things put into it.
Do you continue in and search more in there? If so give me an investigation check. (If you make this check you would get back thebsame time as Kuatho.)
Not paying attention to the proceedings and staring up into a corner of the dining room ceiling, Mist sees a cloudy coalescence come together.
"Will you get down here, ya big softy? The baddie's gone now." He puts his hands on his hips and taps one foot in feigned impatience belied by the hint of a smile. "Do ya expect me t' carry m'self about this accursed place on m'own two feet??"
Freb the cloud golem descends to the floor, silently hefts the prodigious halfling once more, and follows the group to the hall. He stares at the displaced organ as he passes.
"Huh! A musical thing, eh? Knew you could do it, whoever did it! Ya know, we've got Tuk fer this kinda dangerous scouty kinda thing... He's expendable. OW!"
Mist's head jerks forward, as if hit from behind, and a soft, guttural chuckle emanates from the empty air near him.
Rubbing the back of his head and glaring around at the unseen imp, he continues. "So skeletons, is it? We've dealt with much stranger than that. Let's proceed, eh?"
The Skeletons are coming to you all, what I want to do is wait on what Kraven is going to do with where he is at, if he is going to investigate or just come back, then I will move forward with the Skeletons situation.

I'll say that Kuatho can add the d4 from guidance and add a d8 similar to bardic inspiration.
