So you approach the row boat, as you go to look in them, 3 giant crabs and 7 horse shoe crabs come crawling out snapping their pincers at you all.

The off colored area is the quicksand, the two images of clusters of crabs are 3 horse shoe crabs, the small red one is the 7th one.  The two black crabs are the giant ones, and then odd brown things are the row boats.

The crabs are being agressive, once you take your turns I will take Blux's then the monsters'

"Well it does not seem like we will have to worry about finding dinner tonight," Druquilla comments drawing her longbow and taking aim at one of the giant crabs. "It has found us."

Attack: 21 Damage: 7

"Oh for heavens sake" Aubric will exclaim drawing his rapier and he will move upto the horseshoe crabs in front of him and cast Green Flame Blade Causing his blade to ignite in a bright green fire and takes a swing at them.

 Attack: 9 Damage: 4 (and on a hit a creature within 5ft of this one takes 3 points of fire damage)

Kraven squawks in alarm and disengages form the creatures in front of him and once more takes flight to get out of the reach of the pinchers drawings his shortbow and shooting at the lone horseshoe crab in front of him (small red one).

Shortbow: Attack: 8 Damage: 5

Druquilla your arrow hits the crab, it goes in deep.

Aubric you kill 2 of the horse shoe crabs

Kraven you catch a gust of wind the throws your shot off the mark.

Once Mist, Gintarou and Zan take their turns I will take Blux's turn then the Monsters' turns.

"I love crab meat! And those big ones are perfect for hot pot!" Gintarou swings down his glaive, and hits the giant crab next to Blux with full might.

Glaive:Attack: 23 Damage: 11

Bonus:Attack: 19 Damage: 7

Zan's crossbow bolt flies at the eastern cluster of crabs!

Attack: 10 Damage: 8

Gintarou your strike misses the crab but busts a large hole into the row boat, you can see skeletons in what was once the boat, bodies dead, and their clothing torn and worn, but you do see one of them has a bag on their person.  Your second strike comes down and to the carb who snaps at you.

Zan's bolt hits one crab and bounces off the shell leaving no amount of damage.

Again once Mist takes their turn I will take Blux's and the Monsters' turns.

(Sorry guys...recently started a new job and once a day is probably the best I'll be able to do until I feel like my feet are under me.)

(Also, this is hilarious. The likelihood of getting hurt by a real horseshoe crab is only slightly more than getting hurt by a hedgehog. XD )

"Ayyyyyyyeeee ya don't say?" Mist says as he takes the rod back and continues turning it over in his hands. "I'll have to see what this little thing can do once I have a little time to play with it." He stuffs it into one of the many deep pockets in his sparkly robe and follows the rest of the group.

"Don't you be snappin' at my meat shield!" Mist shouts as he thumbs the crystal hanging around his neck through his shirt and pitches a blast of green energy like a fastball at the giant crab engaged with Gintarou.

Eldritch blast - Attack: 24 Damage: 10

Blux will move up to the giant crab and swing at it with his flail.  Attack: 7 Damage: 6

Mist's blast send the crab back and down.  Blux's flail miss the other giant crab busting the boats up more.

The remaining crabs are going to use their full turn to run away.

Blux will swing at the giant crab as it leaves his range as his reaction. Attack: 5 Damage: 9

If anyone wants to use their reaction to kill any of the crabs running away they may do so.

Well Blux swings wildly after seeing his potential dinner run off, and his himself in the leg with his flail.

Druquilla will take shot at the crabs as they are running away, hoping to pick at least one more off.

Attack: 14 Damage: 9

"Oh Mist-dono is concerning me! How moving!" Gintarou laughs aloud and swings his weapon at the remaining giant crab. "Wait! Where are you going! We haven't gotten enough ingredients for all of us!" 

After his last attack, Gintarou approaches the boat and looks into the skeletons and their bag inside the boat.

Glaive:Attack: 22 Damage: 11

Bonus:Attack: 25 Damage: 8

Aubric will just relax his stance and not go after the fleeing creatures. 

Zan's also of a mind to have some crab for dinner.  He fires another bolt as they flee.

Crossbow Attack: 26 Damage: 14

With Gintarou's reaction, and Druquilla and Zan's attacks from the next round 3 more crabs have fallen, to include the giant crab.

Gintarou as you look through the skeletons and their bags you find 7 stones.  They are warm to the touch, over and the smoothest stones you have ever seen.  The bottom of the stones are yellow, it then transitions to orange, and then to red.  As you turn the stone the colors maintain the order and the bottom stays closest to the earth.

You also find a journal these bodies were magic medical researchers, (for lack of better words) they came to the island to find elemental stones.  They were successful, at least until they meet their demise.

"Alright! Looks like we found our magical moonstones or whatever it was we were looking for! Break for lunch?"
