Seeing Komos just standing immobile for some reason, Skarro pokes him to make sure there is no magic involved, then moves cautiously to the short passage, looking around the corner.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Ah! Right right! Well clearly one of these buttons will open the door no?"Komos says walking up to the left door and examining the buttons, and then pushing whichever of the two he feels is 'safest' ((investigation 17))
Both of the buttons feel safe. He deduces that one of the buttons have something to do with the direction up and the other, down. He presses one of them and with a loud ding, the metal doors by sinking into slits of the wall. Beyond is a small metal room. A magic lighting fixture is illuminating the small metal room in dim light. The light from the new room pours out on to the dark room the party was in. After further probing, Komos deduces that the doors and the buttons and the room is a device of some kind. it is like a more advanced form of a platform that can be moved up and down using pulleys. Except instead of just a platform, the whole metal room moves up or down. The buttons probably tell the room which way you want to go.

Skarro peeks around the corner and sees a door. Unlike the others though, this one is open and leads to a small dark bedroom on the other side. Against the back wall is a large table that's covered with all sorts of box, boxes, bags, pots and pans. It's like a bunch of miscellaneous objects were simply dumped on the table with no care. To the right is a big metal safe, about 7ft tall but only two feet wide. Further right, against the right wall is a single wooden bed and a window. The window lets in dim blue light into the room. The left wall of the room is next to the door so the entrance is right next to the left wall. The table mentioned previously was placed in the corner of the back and left walls.
Skarro rubs the window to see it there is dirt on the inside, grumbling to himself all the while. (( Assuming no dirt )) Next he turns his attention to the table, wondering what it contains...and if it perhaps contains more coins.
"Skarro thinks we should give silly pearly to goddess, then get four coins each."
He counts on his fingers quickly, then he narrows his eyes. "That leaves one coin. Skarro would like the last coin so he has ten." He frowns, "Skarro wasn't interested in coins before. Now he is."
Skarro wipes the windows and it does leave a thick layer of dirt on his hands. However the window's view does not change. Turning around, Skarro notices that the door to the room has seemingly vanished.
Skarro lets out a yelp of surprise then runs over to the door, or at least to where the door was, pressing his hands against it, trying to see if there is a way to make it open.
Skarro tries bashing on the wall to see if it seems flimsy enough to break then runs back to the window, wondering if the view has changed. He shakes his head and says to himself, "Skarro always ends up alone."
Finally, seemingly resigned to his fate, he starts to rummage through the items on the table, looking for some means of escape (or other shinies that attract his attention).
"So this thing can take us anywhere?" Varn asks Komos. "Can you make it take us to Emperor?" That would be a pretty convinient solution. Then, turning around, he notices Skarro's absence. "Where Skarro?"
((Does he see the door on their side, or it gone here as well?))
((It's taking a while. I was waiting to see what Varn does with the bricked up door before saying what Skarro finds. Since I assume he's searching the table thoroughly since he's trapped in the room, the investigation roll was not really to see what he finds but more to see how long it takes Skarro to search the table))

Skarro grunts after looking into the cluttered room. "More stuff here," he says before moving to look out the window.
Outside the window, Skarro can't really see anything. Either the window is dirty or there is just blue outside.

Instead of a door, there is now a wall where the door used to be.
Skarro tries bashing on the wall to see if it seems flimsy enough to break then runs back to the window, wondering if the view has changed. He shakes his head and says to himself, "Skarro always ends up alone."

(( My reading is that there are no other doors ))
((you are right there are no other doors. ))
Also roll Investigation for table rummaging. The view at the window has not changed at all.

Varn does see the door but it is closed.
it is not locked so Varn can open it but when he does so, he will see a brick wall on the other side of the door.
(( @DM: And does not hear bashing from the other side, I assume? ))
(( Not yet he doesn't. ))
((@ DM: Nothing from Skarro's 10 investigation? Or is it just taking a while? ))

(( No worries ))
