The party walks down the corridor with Tiamat up in front. In this eerily quiet place, the increasingly distant sound of the occasional water drop coming from the room they just left and their own footsteps keep them company.

The party keeps walking down this extremely long hallway.

They keep walking but there's still so much distance to cross even to the middle door.

Something feels off about the footsteps. Is there an extra set of feet?
Narrowing his eyes, Skarro takes a few paces back the way they came before stopping in staring at the water, the floors, and the walls, then sniffing carefully before becoming still and listening with an focus and intensity he rarely displays. If and when he is satisfied he grunts then returns to the others, ready to move on.
Varn looks at Skarro inquiringly. "All good now?" Though he too had heard the sound of an extra pair of feet, he assumed he was just miscounting. It was reassuring at first that he was not the only one hearing things, but since Skarro could find nothing, he wondered whether something was indeed there, or if the place was playing tricks on them. That wouldn't be that surprising, considering all they've been through.
"Let's move on, and if something jumps at us, that's just a chance for more coins."That said, Varn can't help but look back occasionally, at least if they keep hearing the extra steps.
Taking the long 10 minute walk back to check the room with the leaky pipe and the elevator and then another 10 minutes back to where the party is, Skarro did not sense anything odd, at least not more odd than the inherent nature of this twisted place.
Again Skarro's bolts of energy fly down the empty hall, illuminating the walls slightly in its hue as it flies past.
The party keeps walking with now Komos at the back and moving backwards to make sure there is nothing following them. After another 10 minutes of walking, the party reaches the half way point of the impossibly long corridor. To their right is a metal door and to their left is the message board which seems to have an old map and another old paper with some writing in the strange unknown language on it. Of course at the end of the hall, which would take them another 20 minutes of walking, is another metal door.
The map looks like some kind of floor plan though the actual labels are in a language Skarro doesn't know. Examining the map closely, it is strange. Skarro sees a hallway similar to the one he's in but the one in the map looks much shorter and instead of showing the strange room that the party entered from, it instead shows a big room there. The map doesn't reflect properly the architecture around them.
"Definitely strange. Maybe it just hasn't been updated..." Komos says. "Let's keep walking towards that next door and lets see if we can figure out how the map corresponds as we go."
So which way is the party going to go now?
Skarro points up the corridor. "Check next door, and writings if we can read," he says, moving off up the corridor.

Skarro spins around nervously, attempting to launch bolts of energy at the location he heard the footsteps following.
Attack 1: 9 (miss, I assume)
Attack 2: 14, Damage: 7
(both rolled with disadvantage due to unseen)
Skarro lets fly two bolts of energy as soon as he turns around. He sees the bolts fly down the empty corridor and hit the wall. There was... nothing?

(( Didn't mean to spend that long, but fine with it if others did not call him back ))
Upon his return, Skarro shakes his head and stares at the door.
(( Is it any closer? ))
((Uh yes? I mean the door didn't move or the hallway didn't stretch. The party was walking toward it to it is closer. ))
Skarro nods angrily in the direction of the door, "Keep moving," he says, starting forward.
The party continues moving forward down the hall.

There it is again! The sound of an extra pair of steps.
Skarro growls and spins around, launching two more bolts, but this time just continues walking if they impact nothing.

“I heard it this time too…” Komos says. Turning and walking backwards to keep a look out behind them while the others lead.

Finally seeing something he might understand, Skarro examines the map...

He then moves to Komos' side, peering over his shoulder at the map, while nervously glancing periodically at the door.
(( Happy to move through door if/when Komos has had a look ))

So you're going to avoid the door in the mid point of the corridor and continue walking to the door at the end of the corridor?
